DEL RIO! YES! HAHAHAHAHAHAH! AMAZING! Don't know how they'll one-up it at the PPV but I have no problem with this at all. Face Del Rio winning the title. Awesome.

Morrison was so close, you could say he was.
Great Khali? Mark Henry? If you think about it, Chris Benoit wasn't in it that long. After he lost the world title, it was right back to the upper midcard.

Never participated in one of these threads before, so I hope I'm doing it right.
Created his own wrestling promotion to justify being in the main event and live in the past. Most recent example of this, though not the most egregious.

I'm really bummed out that the PTP are losing so much lately. They're my second favorite tag team right now, and clearly over big time with fans. Ugh, lazy booking.

Yes. I'm thinking after Mania, Heyman will screw Punk over, causing Punk to turn face. So he'll make it to Mania as Punk's manager. God, when he turned on RVD to get Big Show the ECW title... so amazing and shocking. It could totally work now with Punk EXCEPT... ...would this also result in a face turn for Punk? Or is he already too much of a heel?

To be honest, he looks like he just got freed from Auschwitz. Also, I know Cesaro's balding, but Ed O'Neill has more hair on Modern Family than this figure!

Liked it. Everything Punk said was good, if a little generic. I like when he calls out specific events or wrestlers. The Rock was pretty good, better than with Cena. Horrible "cookiepuss" thing, but Punk jumped on the chance to call everyone puppets. So far, they're selling it like Punk could beat the Rock, which is more than I expected (I had low expectations)

B-. Got better, still pretty awkward. Feels like a lot of guys have either vanished or just lost a ton of momentum. I think it's better for the company when Styles or Joe or the other true TNA talent are in the main event mix, but I'm glad to see Daniels and Kaz looking so fresh. Kaz has always been one of my favorite guys. This Aces and 8s thing, I dunno. It's not bad, and I admire the commitment to a long-term storyline, but it don't mean s*** if the storyline is boring. Bully Ray is taking good advantage of this solo run, but this s*** with Brooke and Hulk is godawful. I'm not really a Hulk hater, I'm not crazy about him, but this has been bad. He's bad. Rob Van Dam, doing Rob Van Dam things. He gets to do flips, smoke weed, and has a title, so he feels appreciated. Just don't want to see this result in a bunch of younger guys not getting shots. Gut Check is hit and miss, and will continue to be. Everybody is kind of terrible on commentary.
EDIT: Almost forgot, good christ Jeff Hardy is terrible on the mic. This guy shouldn't be world champion. How can you have a world champion with so little personality? TNA's done it, and it's a flop.

It's a bunch of things. It's him walking, not running, no music, no special lights, looking tired as shit, and he's STILL WEARING THE f***ING T-SHIRT. At least Taker embraces his old man boobs, or wears a badass coat for his entrance. Sting just comes out looking like he doesn't give a f***, which may be true, but it's not in a cool badass way. It's like a "christ, just f***ing retire you pathetic old man" way.

Legends Roundtable is one of my favourite things the company does. The heatseekers roundtable was DELICIOUS, even with Mick Foley saying he liked every guy they mentioned.

Whenever he goes face.
Whenever he talks more than he wrestles (sorry, I think he's terrible on the mic, though charismatic)

^Is there really a difference? While all of those guys were incredible workers, their claim to fame was mostly their silly skits and promos. DX made their name through silly segments. Chris Jericho and The Rock were the Insult Comics who tore down their opponents with nonsensical insults, and are the prototypes for the "wisecracking comedian face" that WWE currently pegs all of its good guys into. Kurt Angle, while a skilled wrestler, was a huge dork on the mic for the first few years of his run. If these guys weren't funny, I don't think the fans would've ever initially cared about them enough to see them as serious contenders. There's a difference between "wrestler who makes jokes and acts silly" and "goofy character". I agree that Angle/Rock/DX all did funny stuff, but they also had serious stuff to go with it. They had weight, they went through transitions, they were multi-dimensional. They were also their own character. Jericho, HBK, Triple H, and Angle had a TON of different characters during their time, Jericho in particular. At this point, Ryder is a cartoon, a character that can't really do storylines beyond something like "The Miz stole all my spray tan lotion! Tensai stepped on my sunglasses!" I think this character COULD go somewhere, but it's limited because Ryder is limited. Look at this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FN7OUXeSb9U It's the shits. Terrible. Piss poor acting with lame jokes, no charisma, and Ryder basically admitting he's a loser. This was months ago by this point. But it's funny, I'll admit, that I totally think if this character were to go heel, basically be a bigger dick version of the Jersey Shore character he has, then it could TOTALLY work. I know that's probably the most generic smark comment of all time (we've all be there, haven't we?) but it's true, imo. It's easy to be a heel. I dunno, I'm rambling here. Sorry.

Liked the character, didn't like the heel stuff. I never bought Taker as a heel, in any incarnation. Dude has always seemed totally disconnected from the good guy/bad guy spectrum. Watching his work with Hogan, even when he's all choking him in the ring and stuff, it just seems like he's doing his own thing. I'd like to see that character come back, only with that kind of aura and presentation.
