I remember Grimm Fairy Tales airing regularly in what had to of been 1991 at least. We moved from Indianapolis to another town in fall of 1991 and I remember watching it in the afternoons reguarly when we still lived in Indianapolis.

{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Sort of makes me wish that this was the only time he had taken off his helmet. Would of made it even that much more special. Also, how did Bib Fortuna survive the sail barge explosion?

yYES IT'S THE FIRST ONE If I can find this on Spotify I will be so happy This has been living rent free in my internal monologue for possibly a decade plus Great, now it's in my head. The LWO theme is the same music only with voice overs. I prefer it.

Looks gross but I'm sure people will be nostalgic about it 20-30 years from now online.

This is lame. I hope Jim Henson Company doesn't try to tell the rest of the story in comic book or something. I don't care if it takes another 30 years, do it with puppets.

Supposedly the goon with the pink tool box was Tim Burton? Anyone know if that's true.

I wouldn't worry about it unless the police come to ask you questions. Not likely to happen.

I have all the "I didn't know it was still on" people beat. I didn't even know it existed until last year when I started seeing videos of it on Facebook. I haven't really watched cable TV since like 2011.

Is this really going to be a "reboot"? I mean what continuity from the originals are they going to ignore? I feel like "reboot" is getting thrown around incorrectly too much anymore.

Would have worked better as a Disney Afternoon series.

I remember watching the very first episode (Christmas) with my family and thinking it was hilarious. I remember being surprised that it wasn't just going to be a Christmas special but an ongoing show. My parents had to tape the episodes for me because I had Cub Scout meetings the night it aired. For the longest time we had those early episodes on VHS as a result and watched them many times.

When the cartoon debuted they were trying to promote the new character Duke so they made him the de facto leader despite just being a first sergeant. Hawk (a colonel at the time) was ignored until they came out with a new figure years later. At that point he was a general and shown to be in command over Duke. Flint showed up later and while he outranked Duke the cartoon ignored this and had him under Duke in the chain of command. I don't know that they ever actually stated what Flint's rank was in the cartoon however.
In the comics Hawk was the leader from the beginning (unless you count General Flagg) and Duke barely seemed to make any appearances.

I only really recall this happening once, in the 5th grade. Classmate/semi-friend was going on about this girl on the other side of the playground that he liked. Said something about how she was showing off her ass to him. Asked me if I thought she was cute too. I said yes (I really didn't care /know about her) and he immediately kicked me in the balls. Said something along the lines of "Don't talk about my girlfriend like that!" They weren't going out.

We watched Michael Jackson's "MoonWalker" in 2nd grade. It got really awkward during the "Smooth Criminal" scene where everyone is moaning like they are in a porno.
In 7th grade our social studies teacher thought it appropriate to show us the Ray Stevens video "Ahab the Arab" because we were learning about Arab culture.
