I'll admit, the Melina angle and news around it came off kindof.......odd......back in the day, and still seems a little odd in retrospect. But if he was this deviant, there'd be more to this. Someone would've taken action, somebody would've said something in a shoot, etc.
As for him being into women's wrestling now, they want the women to be taken more seriously, and Raw has the lion's share of the women's talent. Foley is over as a face, so him giving the seal of approval and support of the women's division means more than if Steph was.

#2 pick reporting in. With at least one more draft on the horizon, hopefully I can figure a few things out here. ...and I want to win, of course. But I thought that would go without saying. Sounds good. Draft OBJ Antonio Brown Rob Glenn Gronkowski, grab your preferred cold drink, and chill. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} Alright, that's two taken care of. Now just fool Seth Drakin, Groose, and Suave and I'm all set...
...what're you all looking at me like that for? Just sitting here typing a post and giving people good fantasy football advice, what's wrong with that?

Draft's tonight, guys. I'm so excited; I'm the first pick! Yep. Take Antonio Brown Marshawn Lynch, grab yourself your preferred cold drink, and chill for awhile. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} ...I think he bought that whole "don't take Antonio Brown #1" thing...oh shit, he's looking over here, act natural.
Hey guys! That Cena/Styles match last night, am I right? Yes I am!

There's a chain in Kansas City called "Family Video" that still has a few stores open. None close enough for me to support them, but still...
And there is actually an old gas station in a VERY small farmtown near me that still rents videos. Hell, a couple years ago they just started selling N64 games they used to sell. I wish I was more up on my videogame collecting at that time, because one of them was a Complete In Box "Super Bowling 64", which is $90 cart alone. The box was sun-damaged, but having it complete would've easily been the crown jewel in my still modest videogame collection.

It's possible, but I don't think by much. I think Cena/Styles, Rollins/Balor, and Ambrose/Ziggler will all be fire. And I bet Banks/Charlotte will be good too. I'll even bet Orton/Lesnar is gonna surprise some people. I know a lot of people think it'll be a squash for Lesnar, but I could see it being a competitive match. Orton's coming back from a neck injury and is a major component to WWE. If they wanted him to come back just to get the beatdown Cena got a couple Summerslams ago, I guarantee you his ass stays home and doesn't come back until post-Summerslam. I know people think the "better" matches will be the other ones, but I would be legit stunned if this didn't get a good amount of time and/or is a one-sided Lesnar beatdown like many people are just assuming. Even with that long time limit though, some of these matches might disappoint. I can't imagine each of these matches being amazing, and I think we might get a few "most underrated match" nominees because they'll be in the light of matches that end up being more memorable, for better or worse (especially if Balor wins the Universal title or Ambrose drops the belt to Ziggler). I think the tag title match will be OK, and I think Enzo/Cass vs. Owens/Jericho will be good, but those two might go by quick. I think Summerslam is going to kick ass and the outcomes are much less predictable, so that's a big boost. It helps that a bunch of these matches become unpredictable, even on a mark level (assuming they don't do some cluster to get out of picking one or the other). Are they REALLY gonna put their company's "new #1 belt" on a guy that's had not even one hand's worth of matches on the main roster? Are they REALLY gonna just punk out Balor's "Demon" the first main roster match it's in? It's gonna be one or the other. Are they gonna "punish" Ambrose for his remarks on the podcast? Are they seriously gonna go all the way with this sudden, sharp shift in booking on Ziggler? It's gonna be one or the other. Are they gonna give the belt right back to Charlotte (in a match she swears she'll win solo)? Or does Sasha hold onto it? All this happening while it's looking glaringly obvious Bayley's time in NXT is either up or running very short.

Considering how they all left the WWE or NXT frustrated and wanting to prove something in TNA, I'm betting EC3, Galloway, Lashley, Eli Drake, Sandow will never go to NXT. WWE only wanted the old guys and all TNA has is Storm. Exactly what I've been thinking. If you were any of those people you named off, and you left because WWE wasn't giving you a fair shake (by your standards), why the hell would you go back? They're less likely to give you much of a chance now. Similar thing with the Hardy's. With the creative freedom they're getting to pretty much do whatever the hell they want for a storyline, however the hell they wanna do it (or are we pretending it's TNA that came up with this Broken Matt saga). Why would they toss that out to be handcuffed again in WWE? Now, for some people that kind of thing might not be worth much and they'd be fine leaving the storylines to the writers and just handling the in-ring business. But you can clearly tell for them, it's as precious as oxygen for them to have that. Maybe if WWE paid them a bunch (I doubt they would) but IMO it would take some scandal with them in TNA or the company folding for the Hardy's to ever come back to WWE. They're not gonna wake up one morning and go "...hey, let's go back, bro."

I must be the only one here that thinks Zema Ion would be f***ing fire in NXT. Hell, once he gets on the main roster, a tag team with him and Tyler Breeze would be so much better than Breezango (and I like Breezango).

Not that I actually believe this, but there is that "conspiracy theorist" part of me that makes me wonder if they suspended Paige first so this woman they've got so much stock in didn't end up being "the first woman to be wellnessed under the policy". That doesn't make any sense I know, I usually don't listen to that part of my brain.

I love how he is still so desperate for a contract to the point you feel bad for what he has to go through and what he's been put up against, but he still isn't so desperate that he'll drop his dishonest/weasel-y methods. There's still that part of him that keeps you from being completely sympathetic for him. They really could play it off as him being a face (finally beats the odds and makes a hell of a run) or heel (shits on the crowd and management for putting him through so much). Just as long as it doesn't end in him getting a contract and then the burying continues, I'm fine with it. If he eventually gets the contract and then jobs left and right, then it'll be a flop. Loser gimmicks are usually death for anyone. But Heath is making it work. Hopefully, he can get out of it without ending up like Curtis Axel. One thing they could do is: Come, Royal Rumble, have him enter around the halfway mark and make him last until the final 4. I think this really get the crowd behind him. I'd be cool with it as long as they follow-up. They had multiple occasions with Santino, but WWE saw it more as a funny joke than any tease of a major upset. Not that it couldn't work in the vacuum of the Royal Rumble, but I'd love to see it end up with him in the IC title ladder match or something like that.

You remember the time there was an en-masse "crapping" on a Jericho run and people weren't just happy he was there? Remember when he backed up DeMott and everyone hated him, and then he never ever retracted his support and people held it over him? Oh wait, none of that happened here. I have zero idea what you're talking about. I remember a thread last year called something to the tune of "Is Christ Jericho the IWC's new antichrist?", a lot of people were thoroughly giving him shit for comments he made in support of DeMott, comments he made basically saying people who never wrestled couldn't criticize Roman Reigns, his stock took a huge hit around here after the Punk AOW episode where Jericho put a video about how he was never looking to get Punk on his podcast just to exploit him for attention but the video was behind a paywall, being down on his constant 'surprise' returns and denying he was returning only to show back up and go "HA! Worked you marks!" and there was a lot of vitriol toward the earlier face leg of his run, something that I remember being a pretty vocal part of myself. So, I don't know where you're getting any part of this from, but even more curious to me is how someone who registered here two months ago is making broad, sweeping generalizations about the board "hive mind" dating back for years. Edit: Oh wait look I found the thread with the title I mentioned, and as you can see this entire forum truly is just one big pro-Jericho circlejerk. First off, where are those people who posted all that stuff now? Oh, that's right, they're all over him and how great this run is because, what, he got a couple of catchphrases over?!? Yep, that lasted long, didn't it? If his stock took all those "huge hits" why is there at least 1 (oftentimes more) thread every episode of Raw with pages of people gushing over how awesome Jericho is? Why are YOU yourself OK with him now? Because people never actually hated Chris Jericho to begin with. Because the wrestling fans (and on this forum) will hold people accountable for shit long after they should be, unless it's someone they wanna love, then it's forgotten about in a snap and the first time they do something OK at best, everything's hunky dory again. And I've been around a little* longer than two months, buddy. This is my second account here (and not because I was banned or suspended, before you even start barking up that tree). {Spoiler}{Spoiler}* - more like A LOT

Remember when he backed up DeMott and everyone hated him, and then he never ever retracted his support and people held it over him? Oh wait, none of that happened here. Absolutely nails it? If Ziggler was cutting deadpan promos about "drinking in the gift of Ziggler maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan" and came up with made-up names, everyone would crap on it. If Cesaro cut half-asleep promos about "it" and said "quiet" over and over in a half-baked attempt to get over as a heel, everyone would crap on it. And don't say it's Jericho's "all the enthusiasm of a first-time readthrough" execution of those lines, cause there's enough of those promos in the company right now (hi, Miz). And it sure doesn't help that in this current feud, he's the 3rd best promo out of all 4 people (to be fair, KO and Enzo both are pure fire on the mic). The idea that Jericho's promos in this feud have been anywhere near KO and Enzo's quality is insanity. Again, if anybody else is cutting those promos, word for word, verbatim, with the same inflection and delivery, there'd be a new thread every week about "X got destroyed on the mic this week". It's because it's Chris Jericho, nothing more. I actually do remember, I also remember I'm people wrapping in Jericho having an old school mentality after that. I remember people crapping on cool dad jericho and wishing he would just leave for another Fozzy tour. And it is all about charisma and playing your character ,Jericho playing this character to perfection. And yes , he is worse than Enzo and Owens , but these two are probably the best on the Mic of all rosters right now. His character has hardly changed in his last 2-3 runs. If he was cutting this stuff 2-3 years ago, people'd be cheering for it, again, just because it's Chris Jericho doing something. Doesn't have to be good, it just has to be Chris doing it. He gets SO much slack from fans it's ridiculous. You said so yourself; "people wrapping in Jericho having an old school mentality". Who else on the entire roster gets that benefit of the doubt? How many times have people said a wrestler or personality (not just WWE) needs to evolve and get with the times. Yet with Jericho it's "He SUPPORTS Bill DeMott's treatment in developmental!!! What a scumbag!" "He's from a different time" "Oh, nevermind then, LOLOLOLOL he called someone a stupid idiot again!"

Jericho could go to the ring, drop trou, lay a turd in the middle of the ring, and shoot on the crowd, and people'd still eat it up. Not because it's good (it's not), but because it's Jericho. In the eyes of the vast majority, he can do no wrong. Bullshit, a lot of people crapped on his last two returns over being. Boring and a waste of time. But when Jericho gets IT right he absolute nails it. You remember the time there was an en-masse "crapping" on a Jericho run and people weren't just happy he was there? Remember when he backed up DeMott and everyone hated him, and then he never ever retracted his support and people held it over him? Oh wait, none of that happened here. Absolutely nails it? There's been a few times on this forum.
My first post ever (on my old account) was bragging to RD Reynolds that the Colts were gonna get smoked by the Chiefs. That was a LONG time ago.
I once made a thread talking about how Carlito let it spill on a Kansas City radio show that Mr. McMahon would be returning on an episode of Raw. I missed Raw the week before and didn't know they'd announced it throughout that Raw. I got all psyched because I thought I'd had the inside scoop on Carlito ruining a surprise.
The other time was when I accidentally flagged someone's video on YouTube, and I started freaking out because I thought it would get his video pulled OR I'd get in trouble. I ended up making a thread in panic trying to find a way to fix it, and it was met with half the people saying "Dude, chill, it's nothing, you're fine" and the other half sarcastically egging it on ("you're going to jail, man", "yeah dude, you're smurfed", etc.)

Honestly more people should be telling Vince and Triple H they suck. Maybe if enough people said it where they can hear they might take the hint. And seriously, if you're going to bill a show as no limits, the controversial opinions come out, then actually, y'know, do it and don't freak out when something controversial gets said. Noble idea, but unless it's a massive damn-near-everyone backstage movement, Vince and co will gladly show any locker room detractors the door unless it's a proven cash cow or someone they've backed to the moon. That's the position Ambrose is in. A guy like Zack Ryder or Tye Dillinger (just to name random people, nothing on them specifically) goes on there and says that kind of stuff (obviously not the live WWE Network version of the podcast, but the normal regular show Austin does), Vince/HHH/whoever would roast their ass in a second.

Gwen Stefani
Seems like a good-natured woman and all, but damn, I hate her music. Not even in a "this isn't very good, but I can ignore it" way, but in a "this is grating, someone shut this off" way.

To be honest, I forget what product it was for (I wanna say Pepsi, could be wrong), but there was that ad with her in the 3-way mirror with her reflection being her from past videos. And I always swore the last words to the song for that commercial was her singing "Cause I pooted".
Since then, thinking of her butt makes me think of that line, and then it just goes down a slippery slope.
