I'd listen to it for sure, but my work schedule is a dice roll every week. I'd hate to commit and then not be able to follow through.

And I will have to auto draft because the draft starts right as my work schedule for the day ends. You could make your quick-list for the first couple of rounds and then just jump on in the middle. I'm allowing 2 minutes per pick, and I know not everyone will use the full time. I don't know what your work commute is, obviously, but i'd hate for you to just miss the entire thing because you can't make it for the first couple of rounds.

Right now, I have every former champion calling "dibs" except for...well...the current champion...unless he has posted here already and I'm thinking of the wrong account. XD

A third title will be mine. I'm like the San Francisco Giants, I win every even number year. The dream dynasty will be your reality. Maybe I forget to send you an invite this year? {Spoiler}{Spoiler} I wouldn't dare do that.

Also, I plan on holding Skype calls for both the lottery and the draft itself. If you don't already have me on your contact list on Skype or aren't sure, shoot me a PM and I'll send you the info.

Please keep in mind, this just assures I'll send you an invite when registration begins. It's up to you to answer the invite before the league fills. If you call dibs but don't respond to your invite before the league is full, you're out of luck.
In fact, I was on here to announce registration will begin a week from today, Saturday 7/30, at 12:00 Noon EST.I finally got into the league for the first time last year, and I'm officially calling dibs for this year. I'm ok with the draft lottery, but I want to ask of something from you if you do: Try to keep the order the way it is drawn at first. Because I was in a league last year where I was manually drawn the #1 pick, but then the lineup of who was in the league got changed, and when it did the draft order got randomly changed and it couldn't be changed back because it was too close to the draft time. I ended up with the 13th pick. I was not pleased. I can change it up until 30 minutes before the draft, but thank you for the heads up. I've never set the order in advance, so I'll keep that in mind.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am here (under a different account) to announce the opening of the 6th season of F.A.N.tasy Football on Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Draft Lottery is complete. If you wish to watch the video, look for my post on page 2 of this thread. If you wish to just skip right to the list, click the spoilers here. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}
1. John's Splendid Team
2. Atlanta FBG
3. Negaseth Nation
4. Skyloft Groosenators
5. He Hate Me
6. StarTropics
7. Outworld Warriors
8. Grilled Mormons
9. Bombogenesis
10. The Losers
11. Lucky Clover
12. Demented Darlings
13. andrew8798
14. The Team Traditional scoring - No points-per-reception (PPR), kickers lose points for missing FGs/XPs 14 teams Snake-style draft - The draft order is reversed in even-numbered rounds. I currently have the draft set for Monday, August 22nd at 8 PM EST, right as Monday Night Raw is starting, as we've done in past years. I do this since the forum is most active during Raw, so I know most people will be available for that time. If you cannot make it, let me know. I won't change the date if just a couple of people can't make it (though you can set up a quick-list and Yahoo will draft your team based on that list), but if enough people aren't available I'd be willing to change the draft day to, like, that Saturday or something. If you have any questions or comments, shoot me a PM or let me know in this thread.

I'd welcome Braun Stroman as IC Champ over The Miz, especially his half-baked "Hollywood" gimmick.

The idea of Cornette not having an aneurysm watching The Final Deletion blows my mind. That seems exactly like the kind of thing Cornette would bitch about in shoot promos and Twitter for the next several years. He's so entrenched in old-school wrestling that it's as much a detriment as it is a benefit. I just cannot imagine a world where Cornette watches it as a serious wrestling angle and thinks "Yep! That's great!". Now, as the joke so many of us first took it as, yeah, he might like it in that vacuum.
I'll give Matt Hardy credit. He's hit a gold mine when, for all intents and purposes, he should have been cast aside. I sincerely hope he and Jeff can keep themselves out of any kind of trouble long enough to milk this for all it's worth. It's not often TNA gets this much positive press for something, and there is room for a lot more. They need to run with this, and I sincerely hope TNA and the Hardys themselves don't screw this up.

Eh, it was alright. Pearl's song was good. I wouldn't put it anywhere close to that top level of episodes though. I always kinda groan at these "Pearl's got angst about something AGAIN" episodes, but it was alright. I don't think they burned "solving the conflict" on this episode, because it's in Pearl's nature to just bury it away and not truly be "through" it.

Wait, there were two episodes?!?
Is there any other times this week they're running two episodes? My DVR failed to record the second one, so I need to make sure it doesn't miss any more.

45 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City for Slipknot in 2014. Me and the husband were pissed. Holy hell, I was just gonna say the most I've ever paid for parking was $25 by the KC Star building for Monday Night Raw at the Sprint Center in 2013.

I know they were dressing as the Chipettes, but it's a little distracting how one of the girls looks like early Nostalgia Chick. Yeah, that was my first thought as well. Fooled me. I totally thought it was! To be fair, I'm real tickytacky with watching NC vids anymore. If the movie reviewed doesn't interest me, I skip it. And that's about all my Channel Awesome exposure anymore.

I had one contact me, at which point I hung up. And then they called right back and left a rather vulgar voicemail. The real one that's a problem at our house is ones claiming to be AT&T offering high-speed internet. I live on this half-mile stretch between towns where AT&T and Time Warner and all them can't hit us. So there's calls that claim to come from AT&T (and show up on caller ID as "ATT", when normal AT&T calls show up as "AT&T"...if I hadn't figured that out I'd have fallen for it) saying service is available, but if you google the numbers they call from they show up on several scammer # lists.
To be honest, it's kindof a pasttime of mine to watch videos on YouTube of people dicking around with scammers. HoaxHotel and PettyPranks are both gold.
There's some other random ones that have found absolutely epic ways to mess with the remote-connecting scammers via virtual machine (an emulation of Windows or other OS that the scammers are led to believe is the victim's legitimate computer). I've seen some where the "c" key functions as "enter", one where a popup has a countdown timer threatening to destroy all the files on the computer and asking the scammer how to fix it, and so on. My favorite was one where the guy was putting in his credit card info, but started right off with putting in his address as something that revealed that he knew it was a scammer. Then the scammer opened the window to change his password and acted high and mighty for the rest of the call while the "victim" kept having to explain how he'd not accomplished anything.

The NWO promo mocking The Four Horsemen. It doesn't help that both in WCWs commentary and in the WWE's retrospectives of the promo they call it out as being tasteless and awful. And the commentary didn't help. When put in the vacuum of when the promo originally aired, it was just to put them over as heels and wasn't any different than a decent handful of their commentary during other NWO segments. But people look back on it being a shoot on the promo and the people involved. I thought it was hilarious and really no less scathing than many other well-known "parody/imitation" promos. Now, if they were deceived about the promo (and there are some people who claim that to be the case), that's one thing. But the promo itself is what gets shit on, and IMO it's absolutely hilarious. Syxx going completely overboard with the Flair mannerisms, Buff stealing Mr. Perfect shticks in his imitation of Hennig, and everything about Nash's Arn Anderson was awesome.
