I've gotten kind of tired of Robot Chicken after 5+ years, but it was nice to enjoy an episode of it again. Not quiiiiiite as wizard as the others, but still wizard...ier than anything related to Tim and Eric.

I didn't know it had a bad rep either. I think it's an awesome series despite the crappy controls and mechanics.

I'm not very well versed on metal, but I'm somewhat familiar with the genre. I can recommend Bal-Sagoth. Fantasy inspired heroic black metal. Totally epic in every sense of the word.

The only issue I had was... well... the Vickie fat jokes are getting kind of old. It would be different before she lost weight. Now it just seems like they can't think of anything else to joke about. It works for her, though. She's easily the most over heel in recent history- including Wade Barrett at his peak earlier this year.
As for Cena no-selling punk's chair shot... since when does Cena really sell anything? I mean, other than complete beatdowns that leave him totally laid out, he pretty much shrugs off everything. Yes, he should have acted like the chair shot hurt more, but this is Cena we're talking about here. At least he didn't grab the chair from Punk mid-swing and hit him with it I guess.
As for Morrison's "burial"... what? He was selling an injury from a PPV that he sustained in a match with a hulking brute of a former WWE champion who happens to be the current King of the Ring. God forbid someone sell an injury. Wait, what were we mad at Cena for?

Hey guys, I just checked my "Wrestling Psychology 101" book and it said that not only do wrestling angles frequently disregard close logical scrutiny, but apparently heels frequently can't win if they don't cheat somehow, and after a period of the heels winning, the face... wait, let me doublecheck...
... yeah, says right here on page 4: "The babyface will be given a decisive victory over the heel or heels as revenge for the punishment they were earlier forced to endure."
You guys... I don't know if anybody else noticed this, but I think that this wrestling angle has been booked like a... brace yourself... wrestling angle! A pretty long wrestling angle by recent WWE standards.
But to save face, I'll go ahead and give my IWC answer: "This angle jumped the shark when Bryan got fired because Cena sux. Rey Mysterio sux too."

I'll have to say as stupid and juvenile as that segment was, kudos to Vickie for getting some of the most epic nuclear heel heat EVER...

I like the angle slam anyway, and Orton does it well so I approve it being incorporated into his moveset.

If bad jokes about Stalin and Mussolini are going to be taken as offensive to Russians and Italians, then Stalin and Mussolini should have thought about that before being Russian and Italian, respectively.

I don't buy it! Everyone knows all* wrestling retirements are final! *And by all I mean essentially none. The same applies to firings, brand switches, etc.

He got interviewed by Bill Simmons for his ESPN podcast which is consistently one of the most listened to podcasts, CBS' American Morning, Fox News' Fox and Friends, I think that new View knockoff show, and has been interviewed by a lot of websites on the internet. Sheamus got some attention for being the first Irish Champion but I dont remember Orton getting ANY press when he won or held the belt. Not to cut that down or anything, but Bill Simmons is a huge wrestling mark. His books and articles frequently contain a LOT of wrestling talk and/or references. I'm surprised he doesn't routinely interview the champs, honestly.

He seemed at least somewhat over when they pushed him in ECW. Of course Hardcore Holly was getting pretty big pops until they turned him Heel in ECW so what did that crowd know?

I'm perfectly fine with a little fanservice in my anime and all, but it does get taken to extremes a lot more often than it should.
The main problem I see with this is the possibility of polarizing future anime productions to extreme ends of the content spectrum. On one end there could be the annoying stuff geared towards little kids, made by production companies trying to keep their shows as accessable as possible. On the other end there could be extremely pointlessly graphic crap for fanboys to fap to made by companies saying "eff it, it's being labelled adult anyway." If there's no middle ground, things could really suck.
Hopefully the entire issue is being completely overblown though.

Regardless of how much Vince craps on tag teams, a lot of major stars got their start in a tag team and may not have have been as successful without either the name recognition from being in a successful tag team (Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, etc) or got a push after being in a successful tag team (Sting, Dolph Ziggler, etc).
If anything there should be more tag teams or stables to allow young wrestlers to have a cushion to develop their skills and character in the WWE environment without being singled out as bland guys that nobody has ever heard of. Please see the Nexus. Would most of them have ever appeared in the upper card without the group support that they had? Probably not. Can every casual fan name every member of the Nexus by name? Probably not. But they sure know the Nexus, and the individual members will slowly get more recognition as they make more appearances, and if they don't totally stagnate they could be the future staple guys in the company.
