Wow what's up with all the hatred for this? I think it looks awesome. Sure I got sick of Micheal Cera around Nick and Norah, however he impressed me in Paper Heart and Youth and Revolt. So I think he'll be good in this. The plot seems decent enough and it's being directed by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Spaced) who hasn't made anything I've seen thats been bad, plus glad Jason Swartzman is in this and Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) looks pretty decent and everyone seems to really fit their characters. Also the music should be awesome as alot of cool bands are contributing music.
So I think this will be great and totally amped to see this. Maybe the hatred comes from an irrational hatred of "hipster" culture which I always hated as I don't really get why people are so close minded, I mean I guess I'd fit more into that subcategory but I'm open to a lot of different stuff from dumb action movies, to gross out comedies to my favorite type of movie which is foreign film and the arthouse. Also applies to music as well. So I wouldn't be so harsh to judge this movie before it comes out just because some people have some ridiculous hatred towards Micheal Cera, as he is very good in his role and I do agree he should eventually broaden his acting depth to something more challenging as he's done almost everything he could with niche he's built for himself. However as this movie goes it looks fun, entertaining and funny, also it looks like it doesn't take it's self too seriously and will be blast to watch. Something most movies have really lacked this year.

I don't plan on watching but any thread with a FOTC reference in the title gets my support. Words of wisdom for Bret Hart and Team WWE vs. Nexus. Stay cool, Bret, Stay cool.

Honestly I can't say until the movie is made. Honestly I didn't think Heath Ledger would be good as the Joker but was amazing, in the end. So while to me Mark Ruffalo dosen't scream Bruce Banner he might end up being better than Edward Norton or Eric Bana. Can't tell till I see a trailer. Also I'm not a huge fan of The Hulk so I'll be watching it more for Captain America and Iron Man. Although if he really does a good job as Hulk it'll be an added bonus, however there is more there to care about than just The Hulk.

So I guess there going for the more Ultimate Captain America look? That's fine think it looks cool as I don't thing the wings would work in the movie. Plus as long as they do a good job with the actual character and get the feel of the comic down right than it dosen't matter if looks a little different. Although I'm waiting another huge argument over this like there was over Thor not having a helmet. Uggh!

So with all the awesome announcements of Comic-Con especially in regards to the Marvel Movies, especially with The Avengers it got me to thinking about what were the worst comic based movies ever. I really don't have a definitive pick of the worst although my top five would be as such, in no particular order:
(1 Captain America (2 Batman and Robin (3 Supergirl (4 The Spirit (5 Catwoman.
Anyway what are everyone elses picks for the worst superhero movies.

I'd say Iron Man. It's the best Marvel origin story movie ever and because of Robert Downey Jr.'s amazing charisma, Jeff Bridges remarkable acting and Terrence Howard's and RDJ great chemistry it really made it better than it should have been. And honestly it made Iron Man seem so cool in 2 hours than they have in any of the comics I've ever read of him. Thought Iron Man 2 crammed to many characters in and although I like Don Cheadle he didn't come off to me as War Machine and the plot was pretty weak. But It wasn't awful.
Really great honestly the other one's have been mostly okay. Thought Hulk was better than Incredible Hulk mostly because I saw Eric Bana as Hulk I really didn't see Edward Norton at all like Banner and everyone else was better casted and felt more genuine maybe not 100 percent accurate to the comics still thought it was more enjoyable, plus the TV show was totally inaccurate and it is seen as one of the best tv shows of the seventies. I don't know something seemed to be missing in Incredible Hulk it just seemed very pedestrian while Hulk seemed to have more substance, even if it did stray from the comics a bit.
Other than that I'd saw Blade 2 was great mostly due to Guillmero Del Toro being involved with the movie which he crafted an amazing story. Spider Man 2 again not accurate to the original casted Alfred Molina as Dr. Octopus created a far superior version that you can identify with and sympathize with. Lastly i want to say unlike everyone else not a huge fan of the X-Men series. The first wasn't bad as it felt like more of a team setup however starting in the second movie it became too much about Wolverine and his past and got really annoying by the third movie where he was the team leader which irritated me as I like Wolverine but hate how he is generally used and basically can do anything and unbeatable most times. However I did like Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan's performances of Dr. X and Magneto, but almost everything else was meh. Hopefully X-Men First Class will be better really looking foward to as Micheal Fassbender will be playing Magneto and James McAvoy will be Dr. X, hopefully it will be a better adaptation of X-Men especially since we wont have Wolverine ruining things! Also last, last point is I'd like to say I thought Daredevil was underrated, although the casting of Jennifer Garner as Elektra was horrid the performances of Micheal Clarke Duncan as Kingpin and Ben Affleck as Daredevil was good and wasn't a bad story unfortunately the studio mangled the perception of this movie with that terrible studio cut of the movie, the director's cut was quite good.
But Over-all my top Ten list would be as such: (1 Iron Man (2 Spider Man 2 (3 Blade 2 (4 Spider Man (5 The Hulk (6 The Punisher (7 X-Men (8 The Incredible Hulk (9 Daredevil (10 X-Men 2

Hawks beat writer Sekou Smith quotes one Hawks official as saying, "The Shaq situation is not a dead subject for us. We are still exploring the possibilities." The Hornets would reportedly insist that Emeka Okafor be included in any blockbuster trade for Chris Paul. Rotoworld Cool I best a bunch of Knick fans would gladly take Chris Paul and Emeka Okafor. He's definately be an improvement over Eddy Curry at the very least but yet leaving pile of bricks on one end of the court would be an improvement from Curry.

Sorry Rock as Nexus leader makes no sense. HHH on the other hand makes total sense. Just mention how he feels the McMahons and all their hand picked stars have failed and their lame ideas have made WWE irrelevant. He learned from Vince and HBK that you need to make an impact to make money and theat's what he did with Nexus and while pros who are unskilled didn't see potential in the NXT rookies he did and he choosen them as the future of wrestling. Also this makes sense since HHH in-ring career probably wont last too much longer and still has great potential on the mic and to be the new evil owner of WWE. Plus he could be very well in that role especially if he plays it like the Cerebral Assassin of 1999-2001. So thats my pick who should be the leader. The Rock wouldn't work at all and would make the Nexus into faces and Team WWE into heels. So no not a good idea.

Trashing the head of talent relations. "If our head of talent relations wasn't too busy on his skateboard this wouldn't be happening right now!" paraphrasing since I'm not totally sure of the exact quote. Also loved how when Micheal Cole talked about anything about fighting in the ring, JBL countered with, "When have you ever stepped in the ring!" JBL was awesome. Edit Actually I found some awesome JBL quotes as commentator here's the best of them: JBL: (To Cole) Take a closer look at your buddy. I wanna kill him. (About Jimmy Wang Yang) JBL: I hate the frenchman because he's french, I hate Jimmy Wang Yang because he thinks he's a redneck and I hate you because I have to sit next to you every stinking week! JBL: Most of Matt's ex girlfriends are gonna be with Edge or someone like him. and one I always loved that I couldn't find is: Cole: It's that Little Bastard! JBL: Stop that! He has a name! His Name is Hornswoggle!

The Bulls are just so goddamn awesome this off-season. They knew what they needed, and went out and found the proper pieces. All they need now is a back-up SG for $3 million or less. They are the definitive dark horse next season. I'd love to see them be the team that eliminates the Heat from the playoffs. Agreed with that the Bulls did get alot better and I feel Rose will have a breakout year. However the only other team I can see as a darkhorse this year would be the New York Knicks if their additions of Stodemire, Felton, Randolph and Azubike they get tons better and I feel Gallinari will be really, really good this year. Also if they could learn to play defense they could really be scary.

Yeah i get a Bash at the Beach vibe from this PPV. I saw Nexus dominates Team WWE than you hear HHH music the crowd goes insane HHH comes out with his sledgehammer and Nexus clears the ring except for Wade Barrett. However when it looks like HHH is going to hit Barrett he instead nails Cena in the head and Nexus reenters the ring and destroys all of team WWE, Than Celebrates with HHH, end of show fade to black. Than on Raw HHH explains why he turned his back on Team WWE and has sided with Nexus. Makes the most sense and they need a big heel as all the heels now are stale and kind of suck and could really get Nexus into being utterly despised. Anyway that what they should do. However they'll probably have someone else that would be less cool like Edge or Jericho.

CM Punk's new gimmick, CM Drunk. Don't forget him having the gimmick of being deaf. Also instead of being straight edge I first heard he was getting a generic metal rocker gimmick ala Van Hammer.

And Yang as a redneck. I miss JBL in general. Ring, commentary, authority figure, in general. Yeah I loved that. The most hilarious part is when pressed on why he wasn't a redneck he mostly got shot down and just yelled "Well look at him!" to not seem like a total racist. That was awesome. See we need a color commentator like that Lawler absolutely sucks now. My other favorite thing with JBL as a commentator was he was the only person to make Cole call a decent match. When with someone who just lets Cole talk into oblivion and not bring up his total lack of knowledge and make him defend himself he just is so boring. Tazz did this a little but not enough.

This smacks of utter desperation. I mean they can't come up with a better idea on this? They have dig up the recently dug up corpse of ECW? Come on there has to be something better than this it's 2010. ECW died in 2001 almost ten years ago. I mean the first WWE ECW PPV was a cool idea but the constant over use of the dead ECW sickens me. Truly sad to see this company in this way. For a brief moment TNA seemed amazing with the awesome triple threat X-Division feud with Joe, Styles and Daniels and the tag team feud with AMW and XXX. However it's been downhill since late 2008/ early 2009. TNA only has it's self to blame for this they could have good stuff and push people that could of made them money in the future except they'd rather push nostalgia garbage and only push that. The thing about nostalgia is it's cool every now and again however done too much it will became stale and than it totally kills it.

Ever since NC reviewed The Room, I've been wondering about this. Could the movie have been salvageable if everything else remained the same, but decent actors were used? Johnny- Anthony Hopkins Lisa- Charlize Theron Mark- Brad Pitt Mom- Helen Mirren Denny- Paul Dano Random Drug Dealer- He can stay I think it would be viewable. Or how about Pumaman with Christian Bale? I don't think that film would be salvageable no matter what the script is the real culprit here, although the acting is horrid the dialouge and boring sex scenes kill this movie dead and the ending was utterly laughable. although I think it would be cool to see it recasted with Christopher Walken. Since I liked to Tommy Wisneau's performance as if Walken had down syndrome. Also if they could fix the writing and have someone else do rewrites and have a better cast it would be worse in a way as it would just be forgettable being so bad is what makes it so good. As these "epic" scenes show

Eh might not be so bad most of the parody porn movies lately have been terrible lately. However this looks like it has potential to be cool. The acting seems better anyway as generally the acting in most modern porn have been atrocious.

I voted for Monsturd. Love that title but will understand if something like Hobgoblins 2 wins. Man that movie was truly terrible.

. Ha! I love this clip it's just so awesome. I still every now and than hum the "You Can't Fight City Hall" song while at work it's actually a fun decent song. Man I wish more tv was like this today. I really love Nickelodeon at this time and Rocko's Modern Life it was so awesome, sure not as weird as Ren and Stimpy but it's weirdness was more subtle and in my opinion better. Really wish I could get this on DVD.
