Of course they do. They buy more than anyone else. Think about it. Smart ass My point is little kids may be the majority of the fans who *wear* Cena's stuff but it's the older crowd who *buys* it...I have bought my nephew a lot of Cena stuff cause the kid doesn't have a job. I go to a lot of shows and I have never once seen an older fan refuse to buy his kid a Cena shirt because he was TEH SUXOR! I like Cena. He's my favorite wrestler right now but I don't wear his stuff. I have a CM Punk shirt and that's it. I have however bought several of his items for my sisters kids...that's my point. But I get what the poster was trying to say.

I doubt they care. The older fans don't buy Cena merch. Of course they do. They buy more than anyone else. Think about it.

What if Vince swerved everyone and ran a 3 month long Cena vs. Lashley feud. Would this board crash?

I got that part it was the smart-ass comment about the refs in your post that earned my attention. When you don't throw down the cash then necronomicon about something you are ignorant to you come off as a hater. Save forty bucks and watch the shows if you want to be taken seriously when complaining about them. How am I ignorant to something that's RIGHT HERE in front of my eyes? Khali's foot is under the rope, that's a rope break. And, again, no, I did NOT see the show, but I think it's a pretty safe assumption to make when I say that the referee did not break the hold. I'm not an idiot, you know. I can put these basic concepts together. I don't think you are an idiot. You called me a nimrod, remember? I understand what you are saying...but here is the thing ok...wrestling is fake. Crazy...I know. And when a 7'3 guy happens to get his foot 6 inches under the rope during a submission hold on accident they don't break script to make the IWC happy...they adjust the camera angle... it wasn't like it was under the rope the whole time...we're talking seconds. They had a booked ending and stuck with it despite the fact that for a matter of two or three seconds the Great Khali was out of position and had part of his foot under the bottom rope. That's it.

He did and ya know what...drop the cash for the show or don't complain. You're looking at a pic and have no idea what you are talking about. You're right, I didn't. Which is probably why I ASKED THAT QUESTION, you nimrod. I got that part it was the smart-ass comment about the refs in your post that earned my attention. When you don't throw down the cash then bitch about something you are ignorant to you come off as a hater. Save forty bucks and watch the shows if you want to be taken seriously when complaining about them.

> Your favorite wrestler. Does he even have Khali's smurfing leg locked? TELL ME HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE KHALI'S LEG LOCKED. Also, this new "refereeing matches as though they were shoots" policy is obviously paying off. Good to know that their senior officials don't even know the rules. He did and ya know what...drop the cash for the show or don't complain. You're looking at a pic and have no idea what you are talking about.

I like how Khali's feet are COMPLETELY OUTSIDE THE RING. Yeah his foot was kind of under the rope for the first few seconds then Cena pulled him away...kind of an f up...he's just so big what can you do.

no, they've had 5 solid months of great TV and ppv's (cept tonight) and thats better than they've been in about 3 or 4 years. I think things are turning around slowly but surely I agree. They also just grossed the highest revenue PPV ever with Mania. I wouldn't quite call for the sky to fall just yet. Just because something you don't like isn't doing it for you doesn't mean the company is falling on their faces.

I think he could...I'll be surprised (pleasantly) if Cena goes over him by pin or submission...I just image they will play this out over more than one card...
I'll be cool if Khali wins too...it's win/win for me as a fan. Can't wait.

The way I see it, the injury is supposed to come off as his entire career of taking insane bumps finally caught up with him. Not Randy Orton single-handedly destroying HBK. And stop with the "Orton needs to be punished" whining. When you invest millions of dollars into a company. Then you can go around punishing all the employees you want, if that's what gets you off. I agree with this guy. To many judge, juries and executioners in the IWC imo.

They already offered a contract to Jericho to bring him back. Not sure Brock would want to though.

Yeah, I know people suggest the heel turn thing all the damn time, but seeing how well he did it at One Night Stand, and seeing how much the kids love him, a Cena heel turn would be nWo Hogan in modern kid's minds. You nailed it.

I don't know but I'm beginning to think this could be the WM Main Event. I like the idea of one of them going heel. I think Lashley would go over for the belt and do the turn. If they booked him like Brock he would make a great heel.

I I'm curious. How exactly do you bring up John Cena in a conversation with a person who hasn't already admitted to being a wrestling fan? When you work with people all over the country they always want to know where you are. Detroit comes up and things like sports come up...so for the past year Mania would come up. People would bring up guys like Cena and Undertaker. Hasn't happened since Mania but it happened before. Lately it's been talk about the Pistons, Cavs (we own them), Tigers and Wings. And vice versa...if I have a client in CA we talk Lakers, or Barry Bonds...NY we talk about the Yankees...and so on...just small talk City sports stuff and because Mania was here it came up now and then.

Getting booed as the top babyface is absolutely no different than getting a boring chant. Not really...when you are bored you become comlacent...when you are fired up and booing someone that is generating an excitement in you even if it is a negative excitement... when I boo my Detroit Lions for sucking I am not bored...I am pissed off...I have energy...when I get "bored" with them I change the channel and don't go to the games. I think there is a big diff.

Getting a reaction from a crowd is moving the crowd. That's what it means. If John Cena were a heel, getting booed would be a a good crowd reaction that showed that something he was doing was right. Hell, if he was a heel and started getting cheers that would even be positive crowd reaction. But getting booed when you're the clean-cut babyface is not a sign that you are moving the crowd. Someone else said it...would you rather have your fans sitting on their hands or chanting "boring" or would you rather have them engaged in a rabid vs. chants even if half of them are booing him? Ok I'm done.

Ok fine maybe I'm wrong. I think he is a star...and if he isn't a mainstream celeb yet I think he is on his way.
Taking nothing away from Bret Hart....he was great. Loved the guy. Just don't think Cena passing him up is a big deal.
And I say "be cool" because I mean it. I like this place and most people here are cool w me...some are not...and that's fine.
