You know how much money famous Youtubers make? You know how much they make when their 15 minutes of fame are up?

My son's school posted a FB video called "With math I can..." featuring a bunch of students from his grade. The kids all picked their own thing, and mine leads off the video with...
"With math I can be a famous YouTuber."
...Goddamn it.
With math I can AIM HIGHER!!!!!

Do you have any idea how many bars there are in Nashville? What are the odds that WWE guys just happened to be in the same bar with GFW guys?

His style of movie making has worn thin with me. In the 90s, it was a groundbreaking new way of doing things. In the early 2000s, it was helped by technology, but was becoming the institution. Now it's 2nd year film school.

Yeah, that's another one. I figured he'd be a lock. He was robbed. Jonathan Banks did his usual great work, but if there was one guy that should have gotten the nod from BCS, it was McKean. Honorable mention should go to Michael Mando as well. Great job as Nacho.

I'm assuming season 4 is going to be the last one, because the only moral anchor Jimmy has left is Kim, and the backstory is about 80% set for Breaking Bad. Questions that need answers for season 4:
1. What happens to Kim? Does Jimmy drive her away? Does she give up the law? Does she go back to HHM after seeing the direction Jimmy goes?
2. Nacho wasn't in BB. What happens to him? I'm about 50/50 on it. I think either Tuco offs him when he gets out of jail, or Gus decides he's not trustworthy enough to bring into his organization and has Mike take care of it. Second option would make better TV.
3. Are we going to see Jesse Pinkman? IIRC, he worked down the line for Tuco (worked for a guy who worked for a guy), so seeing a scene with Captain Cook wouldn't be out of the question.

Jimmy holds off the settlement...so where does he get the money to become Saul? What's that? Chuck is getting a huge payout and then tells Jimmy "Embrace who you are...I'd at least respect you then." Can't wait for next season. Well, Jimmy is Chuck's only relative, and was his POA, IIRC. Jimmy would get all of Chuck's estate, which includes his remaining stake in HHM.

I still blame Hot Rod for Optimus's death.
Also, "I thought you were made of sterner stuff."

Super disagree. This season you got to see Howard go from "defend this house" to "WTF Chuck?". You got to see the relationship between Jimmy and Chuck finally come to a head and then get resolved. You saw the seeds of professional jealousy sown between Kim and Jimmy, and their relationship show strain because Kim feels like she has to cover for Jimmy. And then you saw Jimmy become a survivor, and make the best of the situation he found himself in, even if it was by his own hand that he was in that situation. We all know what the end is. What this show is about is enjoying the journey from Jimmy to Saul. Walter White wasn't Heisenberg until he had to deal with Tuco. Jimmy's trying to stay Jimmy, but with Chuck presumed dead, I think the transition is going to speed up.

I loved the way that was shot, because that's exactly what I imagine you'd remember falling asleep at the wheel. Feeling sort of tired and then WHAM. I had one time I was driving through Kansas at night. It was like 4am, and I'd been driving for like 8 hours or so because my useless ex sucked. Anyway, I thought I was hanging on, then I thought to myself "man, this blink is lasting forever...what's that rustling sound?" I open my eyes. I had fallen asleep, and I was in the highway median doing 90. The rustling was the tall grass. Thankfully I was able to keep my head. Let off the gas, slowed down to a safe maneuvering speed, and eased back on the highway. I was wired after that.

Them old ladies is fierce! Loved how Jimmy explained the settlement holdout with the peanuts. I'm assuming Kim fell asleep at the wheel. I know I've done that. Didn't run into anything, but it surprises the hell out of you when you wake up.

Got a cube for my son. He has autism and ADHD. It's worked pretty much as advertised. Almost didn't give it to him because I wanted it for myself, so I ordered two more.

My thoughts exactly! One small thing that I really like in the last episode was Howard. I really like him as a character. On the surface, he seems like the standard lawyer asshole archetype but the shot of him sitting on the porch with the back to the house, not really knowing if Chuck would actually come out, I think says a lot about how much he cares about the people that are close to him. He's aligned with Chuck, so I should see him in an antagonist role but I just see him as being loyal to a friend and mentor. Prior to the fallout, he always gave Jimmy kudos on everything he did and while he did try to snatch Masa Verde from Kim, at the end of the day he is the head of a law firm. Just my viewing of it, but for a character that ostensibly should by all rights be a dick, he seems like a decent enough guy. He is a misunderstood douchebag and I loved it when it was revealed Chuck who prevented Jimmy from getting promoted to the firm as a lawyer and Howard seemed to be taken a little back. I also loved how Howard still acted good towards Jimmy despite Jimmy being a pain in a ass to him with his childish tactics. I always love the trope when they cast a guy who looks like a total douchebag and they write his character that the audience piles on him and than twists everything that we actually feel bad about being so judgmental He's a bit smug, but sympathetic in that his father is the one that charged him with leading, and more importantly protecting, the firm he built. Every move he's made in this series has been for that. You were made to hate him in the early part of the series, but now that you know more about him, he's not so bad. Also, they need to just hand Michael McKean the supporting actor Emmy this year.

At least the first one, anyway. As any Cincinnatian can tell you, there are a few local experiences that are must haves. Skyline Chili, Graeter's ice cream, Reds opening day, Oktoberfest, Riverfest, Taste, and the annual Oh God Dammit that is the Bengals. Well, there's another one, not so well known...cicaidas. Every 17 years, the main brood pops out of the ground to ruin your summer. That one's due in 2021. This year, however, one of the other broods decided to show up early. This morning, I saw about a dozen or so in my front yard. They're the smaller, dark green ones with bright red eyes and orange wings. Creepy little bastards are loud as all get out too. Just waiting for the temperature to go up, so they'll sing me the songs of their people...all day...every day...all summer. It's going to be like this for the next 3 summers. The lesser broods are off the main one by a couple of years. So welcome back, assholes! Give me a reason to cut down all the trees in the area.

No trouble here, but I live in a suburban area. I have 3 Kroger stores within 3 miles of my house, as well as a Meijer, a Remke, and a Wal Mart. In fact, one of the Krogers is the biggest one in the country, opened up a mile away from another one, and they're both still packed on the weekend. I thought for sure the older one would taper off, but apparently the area is seeing a population boom.
Anyway, food deserts are largely something I've only read and heard about. When I went to college, it was in an area you didn't want to go out at night in. There was one grocery store within walking distance, and it had cops patrolling it. It eventually closed due to the amount of crime it still saw, which is the common thread in food deserts. Grocery stores make about 3% profit. That's why so many added higher profit retail items. They get robbed and shoplifted enough, it's not going to stay open, and that screws over the good people in the area just trying to get by.

Obvious Captain America comparisons aside, this could help save DC's movie hopes. I'm concerned that if the preview follows the plot of the movie, we're going to go from bright and colorful to DAAAAAAAAAAARK in a really short period of time, and that happens way too often.

Tim Curry's portrayal of Pennywise. Starts and ends right there for me. The new one is so obviously evil that you'd shoot him on sight. Currywise was much more unsettling.

Hadn't seen a really gruesome death since Spencer. Glad Negan's always down for that. RIP, Rapey Davey. He does not accept your apology.
The past few weeks have been a slow build to what I hope is going to be about three bowls of popcorn during the finale. They've been good episodes, just slow. I'll tell you what, though, it annoys me to no end when Rick just happens to find exactly what he needs.
