They need to ship Natalya off to FCW to lose some weight and gain some charisma. I think you got Mickie and Natalya mixed up. It's Mickie the reports always say has gained weight.

Actually a lot of good promo guys had a trouble (even scared of) doing play by ply. It's a whole different thing. That's how guys like Arn Anderson end up great promo guys, not too great commentators. And like how Booker T was pretty OK at promos, but is the greatest color commentator of all time. Sorry, but no. Booker as commentator, whether it was himself, the King gimmick, or that...thing he was supposed to be that one night in TNA...is bad. Terrible. He's better off doing promos than he is commentary. Period.

Real or staged, it makes TNA look bad. ECW- whether they were attracting a lot of fans or just a handful of fans, always talked like they were number one, they were the place to be. Heyman always appreciated the boys in the locker room and treated me like family. Not like bad children. This is a slap in the face to kayfabe. It's like telling people "Here's a fake wrestling production. Nothing you are about to see is real, it is all forced and manipulated by this management team. We're number two but hey, we're trying." Why does that make me, as a fan, want to tune in? I completly disagree. It's more of a slap in the face to the fans to lie to them and try to them something that's obviously not real is real. It's 2009 and you can find out almost anything about a wrestler on the internet there's no need to say that stuff doesn't exist when it clearly does. But that's just how I feel. IT'S STILL REAL TO ME, DAMMIT. No, seriously, despite knowing the reality of it all, we like to immerse ourselves in the action, the storylines, and what have you. It's a slap in the face of that fourth wall wrestling calls kayfabe because people like us know it exists, and it's terrible to think we don't understand that concept. THINK.

That's a mutated version of the Lucky Star theme - it's a joke. My darling, darling please! God, I love Lucky Star. For the uninitiated - four girls talk about stuff, and that's your plot. The first episode begins with a ten minute discussion of how to eat certain foods. I was about to say, a few seconds in I realized it was this and not some backwards message from the Nation. Also...it sounds more like "I love Sake" than it does sausage. Yanno, the spirit drink?

*Crosses fingers* Please let Steph be next. Keep dreaming. Shell be taking over. I garantee it. Linad leaving was bound to happen anyways. She is running for governor isn't she? Nah, Vince said some time ago the next guy to run WWE wouldn't be a McMahon, so...might just be Trips.

HEELUVA LAWYER, Must be CM Punk in disguise Actually, I think he meant "Helluva Lawler". Guess Jeff knew the best way to get this hearing extension was to have King hand over some of his Playboys to the court.

I saw him in an OVW match once. All I remember about it was how his opponent was falling to the ground from a vertical suplex before he started falling back.
Wasn't a good match, and I've taken the word from everyone else he was terrible. Someday Stephanie needs to learn you can't just point your finger at someone and say "That's our guy!" She's not Cornette or Heyman.

I'm gonna have to say The Rock. A pre-recorded segment from him gets a bigger pop then Cena. Rhe only reason Cena is even a top guy now is because SOMEONE has to be. Austin and Rock both retired, and it's not like Cena is a big draw or something. That makes no sense. I guess Austin and Rock were only the top guys because Bret left and Shawn retired right? And they were only on top because Hogan left! Yes, that's pretty much how the cycle works, isn't it? Though, granted, it took a while for each to get up there (Bret was winning the WWE title prior to hogan's final match, but took a year before becoming a major company fixture, longer for Shawn, and it was about three years after Rock and Austin packed up as full-time wrestlers before Cena won his first WWE title).

I guess they got sick of Rey pleading to be spanked?
...why yes, folks, there's more of the "Rey looks like a bondage slave" jokes to be had around here. ;D

I'll start by saying it didn't belong on air, however... I love it! People have been shouting for Dixie to take control for the past few years. Well, now you've got it. I must have heard a different speech than some of you. I didn't hear "I'm making all the decisions and you must agree 100% or get out!" I heard "I need you to be behind the decisions and direction of this company 100% and if you can't do that, you need to move on." These are 2 different ideas. No, that sounds about the same motif to me...

You know everyone's body language is a bit different and I have never really observed AJ under normal circumstances so maybe he is just a nervous defensive fellow also since this is wrestling the whole thing may be a work but AJ's body language was VERY telling. I would not be surprised at all now if those NEWZ rumors about his dissatisfaction were true. Nope, it's all legit. Dixie's words from the heart, unfortunately. and it isn't even to set up any angles.

don't worry- after all Hogan still has to go through the Megapowers reunion tour with Black Machismo until Machismo catches Hogan glancing in So Cal Val's direction accidently and get through that feud before he could turn to worrying about the titles. But wouldn't So Cal be a little older than Brooke? ...oh wait, that hasn't stopped him recently.

Here's my question, though...
Eric Young said that the title can't be fought on American soil...nor can it be defended against an American.
Now...are we talking America the country, or America the continent? Because technically, the champion himself is an American, though being Canadian he lives in NORTH America.
Also, wouldn't this mean that he can't defend the title in Mexico or Brazil or wherever else, since those places are technically American soil as well?
Plus, if he doesn't defend that title outside of the US in thirty days, wouldn't that mean he'd have to be stripped of the title, or does TNA not follow that ruling?
Maybe I'm thinking too logically with this...?

Doesn't surprise me. Stuff isn't getting any cheaper. They'll probably be $49.99 each by this time next year. I hope I'm wrong, though. I think it would be better for business if they lowered the prices instead of raised them. Maybe make them $30-$35 or something like that. Yeah, they'd cost less, but more people would buy them, so you'd break even. (Well, ideally, anyway.) Plus, why buy the PPV when you can watch it a month or two later on DVD for half the price? How much are UFC PPVs these days? Are they cheaper? I've never ordered one, but from what I understand they're PPVs are doing good business. Maybe WWE should do whatever it is they're doing? *shrugs* UFC prices are 44.95 for standard definition, 54.95 for hi-def. So, realistically I guess it's not so much about price as it is, I dunno...a good product?

I thought that was already her gimmick. But now she'll shave her head, baby oil her muscles which will be covered in tattoos and she'll hear a bunch of voices in her head. But she'll conversate with them, so it's okay. So she'll eventually be dropping the pants and switch to speedos? ...yanno, I wasn't sure what to make of this, but now I'm all for it!

I've seen a lot of adult sites drop prices and call them "recession special prices" for a few months now.
You'd think WWE could try to follow suit.
