I already rolled my eyes when I heard Sheamus won the MITB match, now it's just waiting out the inevitable.
And, if I could go on a rant here?
My problem is that the MITB has been somewhat established from the start as a prize meant for fresher and proven midcarders to finally rise into the main event spot. Which is why I'm okay when someone like Edge or even Kane win it, because at that point in their careers they weren't boring the hell out of you and you wanted to see them move up a little.
But then you get into the guys that have already made it to the main event. Why, aside from them filling in a spot in the match and giving them something to do for a PPV, would you give them something they don't need? Or in other cases where a guy's just given the briefcase because they want to use it as a vehicle to push the guy instead of making him work for it. Like Jack Swagger, or even Del Rio winning it despite having shown multiple times before that he would otherwise choke in a main event when his 'destiny' is on the line. Much as I might not like him these days, Miz's push before AND during his time with the MITB briefcase was something they did well.
In Sheamus' case it's very much the same deal as guys like Cena or Orton winning the briefcase when they didn't need it, except this time around you're somehow less enthused than you would be with the other two. And I think that's because despite being a former WWE and World Heavyweight champion, he never did ANYTHING with his time in the main event, and even on the undercard he's just there to give him something to do in the hopes of building himself back up to stardom, but that CLEARLY hasn't happened!
I wish there were more opportunities for the briefcase to be put on the line, like the first three years. At least that way WWE can fix a wrong when it isn't working or tease the idea instead of going "Nope, we gotta go through with it, too late for a change".

So I'm still bugged by something here.
A few years ago when Ric Flair was still involved in TNA, WWE wanted him to go into the Hall of Fame (again) as part of the Four Horsemen. TNA and WWE eventually negotiated, and allowed Flair to go to WWE for that one night, under the condition they let a WWE star in TNA to induct Sting into their Hall of Fame.
And of all the people they could have gotten for a brief ratings or PPV buyrate boost...they apparently only wanted Christian.
Has it ever come out why they didn't pick Cena or Trips or Bryan? Because it still baffles me that they chose the one guy that was already in a TNA ring and clearly wasn't willing to be there that night. And yeah, I'm sure WWE prolly veto'd a few names, but still.

I'm not gonna read through 23 pages to see if anyone else has pointed this out... But did anybody else notice in the SB Nation article that they said WWE stuck with Hogan in 2012 when he used the n-word in an interview? www.sbnation.com/wrestling/2015/7/24/9031721/hulk-hogan-racist-tirade-audio-sex-tapeI just find it hilarious that TNA isn't given the credit towards more stupidity when Hogan was with them in that timeframe.

It seems like Abyss got steadily worse with every outfit change and alignment turn. From this: To this: Wow...that's embarrassing. You can't even call it a Kane ripoff anymore. It's more like they purchased the cheapest version of a Kane costume (You know that Homestar Runner cartoon where it's just a crappy plastic Bubs mask and a crappier plastic apronthat says Bubs on it with a pciture of Bubs on it? That thing.), spraypainted the mask orange and just...gave up. How fitting of this company.

The Raven/Larry Zsibysko "feud" that started after Raven lost the TNA title. What should have built up to a rematch between Jeff and Raven never happened because of THIS.

I'd say of all the gimmicks he's had over time, Super Eric killed off EY's heat overall.
Say what you want about the Roode feud, they did eventually try to make him a more serious character. But then they hit the reset button at some point, gave him the Super Eric gimmick, and it went to hell to the point when they made attempts to turn Young heel and serious, (and finally pulled the trigger with making him leader of World Elite) nobody bought into it. What hurt him isn't even the fact they made people believe it was a different person, but the fact that when told to admit he was Super Eric in order to keep the tag team titles, HE REFUSED AND HE AND KAZ WERE STRIPPED OF THE BELTS.
This was after he was stripped of the X-Division title immediately winning it because of reasons I don't remember. Just wanted to remind people of that.
Then they had him suffer a concussion, turn into a comic relief again, but by then he was already damaged goods. This was just the first snowflake that got the snowball rolling.

When he won the NWA World Title by DQ. Yup, this is where I'd say the yellow snowball started rolling.

Only thing of value is maximizing footage of Jeff Hardy, Angle, and Sting. And if they catch fire in WWE, Joe and AJ. Beyond that, there is nothing of value in TNA. Of course, a major reason for that is TNA never did create an identity for itself. Don't forget Dudleys, they'd use that footage for any documentary DVD/Blu. I'll be looking forward to seeing if they attempt to retcon things such as the Team 3D name and the "Trademark This" T-shirts.

This is insanity.
They actually think they can pull this off when their show is off the US airwaves by that point?
Can hey even afford the fan experience?

Anytime Eric Young held a title When Eric Young won a title, then immediately was stripped of it for stupid reasons and never competed for it after that Eric Young being comic relief post-Team Canada
...Don't worry, I already see the pattern.

Am I the only one finding it sad ROH's views are only in the thousands while TNA's are in millions?
Something about that doesn't seem right.

In that same vein, "Heart And Soul Superhero" for Zack Ryder in ECW. Wasn't that supposed to be part of an angle, though? He beat Tommy Dreamer "The Heart and Soul of ECW" in a match, so he took part of that nickname. Then he beat The Hurricane, who was a superhero, so he took that, as well. Maybe they should've kept it going, have him beat a bunch of people and take parts of their persona until he has a super-huge nickname that takes, like, 30 seconds to say it all. *shrug* I thought that's what they were gonna do as well, and it seemed like it was building to an ECW title feud with Christian. BUT then ECW ended, Zack got moved to Raw, was treated as a jobber until the fans demanded a Ryder push...tells you about the difference between WWECW and the rest of the roster at the time. But to add to this list, A-train and Prince Albert.

Okay, but the GFW World title?
I thought the TNA King of the Mountain Championship was supposed to be this company's main title?

Assuming they even GET that far...
September's gonna be the end of their DA tenure, and it doesn't look like they're gonna stay on after that.

In that case I'd like to thank OPEC for bringing gas prices down from nearly $4USD last year down to almost $2USD early this year and keeping it around the $2.80USD mark right now. And also for possibly ending TNA. 2.80? Where are you? I'm at 3.40 in so cal Pennsylvania.

What's happening is the price of oil going way down. It's at a low and experts say it isn't getting higher anytime soon. The death of TNA may come at the hands of OPEC. In that case I'd like to thank OPEC for bringing gas prices down from nearly $4USD last year down to almost $2USD early this year and keeping it around the $2.80USD mark right now. Drew Galloway will join Jeff Jarrett in the King of the Mountain match at TNA Slammiversary this Sunday. TNA will announce the last competitor in the next half-hour. So this isn't for a title or anything? It's just...a King of the Mountain match just because? What the hell are they gonna hang then?!

Wade Keller @thewadekeller 2m2 minutes ago Believe it or not, the Jeff Jarrett appearance on Impact tonight is not the bigger story developing out of TNA right now, I'm told. You mean it gets WORSE?
