Clearly you do not watch the product. It is literally the #2 singles belt. OC held in it two long reigns and Jon Moxley is a former champ. Talking about evil uno winning the international get the f*** out of here with your trolling. So, hey, this is a totally reasonable reaction It's too heated, which sucks because it'd otherwise be pretty spot on. Evil Uno isn't someone in that division really at all, and is just being thrown out there as a dismissive example. But yeah, a point that'd be made better with a cool head.

Anyone else think Ospreay will hold the world and international titles together after All In? I kinda imagine he loses the International title to someone who'll be one of his challengers once he becomes world champion.

Before someone harps on it, because it always comes up: Meltzer has said to basically just treat the higher numbers as "still a 5, just, emphasis" and not to take it super seriously. The first 5+ was Flair vs Steamboat in the 1980s, so yeah, don't get terribly hung up on it.
Same dude has also said that many 5s take place that he simply doesn't ever see, like that Flair probably had many 5s on live shows with no official recordings or distribution in tape-trading circles, so yeah, it's not a science and never has been.

I love that Bryan went from somehow having no 5 star rated matches, bafflingly, to 10 in the past couple of years. He really made up for lost time on that front.

Codyverse was better. Like, yes, there were rough spots, obviously, but cool shit happened in it, too, and the matches themselves tended to be good, like Sammy and him in the ladder match on the way out.
Not like Jericho hasn't had some great matches in there, obviously, but Cody never completely shit the bed like one of Jericho's Orange Cassidy matches where he got completely blown up and was legitimately embarrassing to watch, like him being unable to take Orange's "Mouse Trap" move right at all, which, given it was the finish, wasn't great.

It took too long to get there, with Jimmy having not done enough to differentiate himself as a singles guy, and also didn't exactly benefit from just much better, higher-stakes matches at 'Mania. It just made this too little, too late.

I am awaiting when NXT just decides to turn her heel for no actual reason. She technically is a heel right now. Unless you mean the KO "turn heel when you're already heel" More or less, like when they take someone people want to cheer, like Cesaro post-Andre Battle Royal, and just draaaaaaaaaaag them out as a heel for no particular reason. You don't have to make someone face right away, but you can't drag it out for too long if you still want people to care as much as they could.

I think Liv losing now was the right call, if she won the battle royal now it'd just come off like a fluke while actually directly beating Becky for it will do more for her in the long run plus it gives good reason for her character to grow more heelish, just the match itself sucked. Yeah, I had even suggested that, had they had Nia won, I'd expect they'd do the same thing, Liv beating her for the increased credibility. This is thankfully way less awful, but like you say, the match was bungled. All the more reason to NOT give it to Liv just yet, really.

I mostly just wouldn't want Linkara to cover Sonichu at all because it's just really grotesque to do so. That, plus what would Linkara be able to say that'd add anything to that conversation? There's just much better stuff left to cover that doesn't contribute to the internet dogpiling someone. As said the thing was webcomics but he kinda broke that at some point... though I think that Webcomic did produce a book. That said Sonichu itself would also have the whole can of worms about it's creator... that he isn't going to want to really open. Especially because it's inextricable with its creator, like CWC IS the story, it's just a series of boasts and gripes about someone's personal life wrapped up in bad drawings. There is no substance to address.

There was a time when pushing Nia made sense. Then, bringing her back made some amount of sense from a standpoint of "okay, Rhea facing someone bigger than her in Australia when she's de facto gonna be a megaface there will get sympathy on her". Now, though, yeah, hope they signed her to a short-ass contract, or just have her be someone's Diesel, because she's really wrung dry.
Nia's in the top 3 of issues with that battle royal, but even if she was pre-injuries Nia who could at least move, the booking of this match sucked ass for the reasons Lizuka and others mention. Bull Nakano at her peak would not have been able to make this match not lame.

While the chance to work together was never really there, I would think Hogan would have loved to work Foley, considering Foley would just allowed Hogan to beat on him all day. I could have totally seen it working in WCW at a certain point, certainly, especially if Hogan wanted to try to present himself as not being edgeless. Either have Hogan do a match with Mick and send him into some barbed wire or otherwise push the envelope, or have the two of them swinging barbed wire 2x4s if Mick picked up some crowd buzz and Hogan wanted to appear hip and partner with him in some big gimmick match, especially since it kinda writes itself. "Hogan has feud with Kevin Sullivan. Hogan decides to get additional backup from one of Kevin Sullivan's hated enemies, his former partner Cactus Jack."

I really don't think they will do Ospreay vs Swerve at Wembley and have Ospreay win. Like that is far too short of a run by AEW standards. And it'll end with 60k stadium booing him and cheering on his opponent. That's not best optics for this Swerve run IMO. Especially if only a 4 month run I'd probably give Ospreay Okada instead, if you want him winning a title at that show.

Father of the Year Christian Cage. He needs something different from Copeland, and I'd say he has earned a main event run against World champ Swerve, and seems like a nice month long program until Hangman comes back and they can have their blowoff in like a dog collar match or something. I would greatly veto that idea, considering the horrible racial stereotype of blackmen not having father figures. This feels like a big can of Nope. I kind of figure after Christian's match where he got kicked in the dick like a billion times that maybe they can tone down the Father thing with Christian for now, anyway. That kind of reached its logical conclusion.

I think it's safe to say we've finally gotten there I'm glad Swerve was the first, especially when he declared he'd be the first. Planted the seed, and paid it off, really good shit It is getting there The women has never been the problem in that regard, it has been the men. Swerve is champ but I am hoping he isn't the only champ or put into this spot for next years For sure. Granted, Okada is probably a "when", not "if", so that's also a good thing for the main event scene racial makeup, too, but this is the sort of thing where you never want to rest on your laurels.

I am not unsympathetic to the fact the guy has got to be in a rough place mentally, but I do really hope he gets an extended sabbatical and stops trying to work this shit out in front of us, because the results are extremely cringe.

It's a matter of relativity. Watching Bluey with some nieces you're babysitting is a whole lot less grating than Cocomelon or the like. There's some nuance and substance to it, and it isn't mind-meltingly repetitious. I wouldn't watch it on my own, really, but in the context of something you can have on with very young children, it's way above average.

I imagine that there are a number of reasons she is getting time away, but that some of it is to let Thunder Rosa get some shine without the elephant in the room that is their beef. I feel like that's probably going to a head eventually, but right now, it'd be a distraction.
