Yeah, I really wouldn't count Rumbles as main events, unless this entire list simply translates to "last match of the night" as opposed to "most important match of the night." Which is another problem I have with many Main Event lists. They usually go last match. That's absurd to me. Take Survivor Series 1991. When THIS is the poster..... ....your IRS/Natural Disasters vs. LOD/Bossman match ain't the main event. Man, that poster is BAD! I remember watching that PPV as a kid (on a Wednesday night, no less). Loved original Taker.

Pay me a nice chunk of change, medical bills and possibly plastic surgery bills (so the scar isn't hideous) and I'd do it.

Billy Kidman's "You Can Run" theme is the first one that comes to mind. Not a terrible theme but didn't match him at all.
AJ Styles' theme is kinda the same way...

After seeing the video, Stroman is bending over the barrier and some guy holds his head like he's doing a RKO.

In my opinion, it's because he was covering up this freakish body of his. Regardless of his ring work, the guy has a head-turning physique.

...and that's ok with me. I don't need to see these guys carving themselves with blades to get the same response. Here's an article on it with the alternate view showing Byron Saxton slipping him the blood capsule. link

I got tweeted by Steve Austin and had a short convo with Scott Hall.
I was surprised by the Hall convo as I'm not a 20 year old half naked hooker.

I still claim that the last actual, true heel we've had was JBL. Kevin Owens shows glimpses of it. Then what is/was Seth Rollins? Sheamus? The Miz (lord help me) The Authority? Charlotte? Of that group, only Sheamus and Miz are even close. Heels are supposed to be hated. Rollins has a baby face style (which should be huge when he returns). A true heel "boss" wouldn't be in mid ring saying "Welcome to Monday Night Raw" while popping a crowd.

How old was Hogan when he faced Rock at WM18? It could be argued that their match was the Main Event or at least Co-Main Event.
Edit: I see that you said "Last match". Guess that makes my point null and void.

Does anyone remember Kane shooting on a fan during the "10 Bell Salute" for the Undertaker? Paul Bearer orders Kane to get the ring bell, held by Mark Eaton. As he's walking there, fans are grabbing at Kane. He picks one at random and basically throws the kid over the barricade. Camera gives a wide shot as he's kicking and kneeing this kid while Paul Bearer is yelling at him off mic. Kane throws the kid into the stairs, all looking nothing like a work, and proceeds to get the ring bell.
If it was a work with a fan plant, it had me fooled. He kicked the hell out of this dude.
Edit: It was on the March 2, 1998 episode of RAW.
