You talk about Kelly being so young with room to grow. here's a video of BTW's rookie sensation Davina Rose. She's only 19 but is leaps and bounds beyond Kelly Kelly and most of the WWE divas.Just she doesn't look like a super model. She's wrestled about 8 or 9 pro matches so far in her first year.Kelly Kelly has probably done a few hundred is 3 or 4 years and only shows a little improvement?? Check this match out. She wrestles a masked male jobber, she's shows some of her greenness but you can see she has skills and can actually wrestle unlike the more "Experienced" Kelly Kelly!

great someoen mentioned what a dick Virgil is.I've psoted twice before my bad experience when he swindled me in to buying an autographed photo. I do a TV show and asked him if we could do ashort interview and he asked how much is he going to get paid? I mentioned how I've interviewed the likes The Road warriors,Jericho.DDP,Jimmy hart and he said that was them, if I want to interview him he's going to have to get paid! A career mid card jobber who never amounted to anything but being Dibiase's man servant and the NWO's whipping boy. In May he was at the BTW fan fest, there were motorcyclists racing bikes on the property next door and he threatened them for making all that noise on their bikes and the cops were called.

I am no fan of Trish Stratus and it just floors me people rave how awesome she was. yes she did work hard and tremendously improved to how she was when she first started.I really want to like Trish as a wrestler. Everything about her is good except her in ring offense. She could take bumps tremendously and sell. she was decent on the mike and entertaining in angles. But her offense in the ring was mediocre at best. It blows me away how many people praise her at being such an incredible worker when she wasn't really that good but still better than most of todays Divas of course!

a couple other people mentioned Scotty 2 Hotties "worm" and "Cena's 5 Knuckle shuffle" agin those moves got pops and(even though Scotty's took way too long) it's still more realistic than to believe yon wrap your legs around someone head and as they stand up you some how with all your strength ,can fly around spinning and flip the person over it is the fakest and stupidest looking move I've ever seen!

Yeah! I don't get that! wasn't "Common man" a WWE customized song for Dusty?? It's kind of a pet peeve of mine they've censored non wwe ring entrance music on their old videos so they don't have to pay anyone royalty's It is understandable though. Steamboat's WM3 ring entrance music is dubbed over on the Savage DVD as well.
It's kind of weird to watch the Hogan matches from '84 when "Eye of The Tiger" was his ring entrance but "Real American" is now dubbed over in the rereleases.

This is like saying that if a men's wrestler should stay out of the ring if they can't perform at the level of Brian Danielson. It's all relative. When you watch RAW tonight compare the Divas match to all the men's matches. also notice the crowd reactions. If there were male wrestlers that were as bad as most of the divas I'd be saying the same thing. Seth Green had no business being in the ring last week as well as any other celebrity that has done so in the past. I agree the people's elbow is a lame as a finisher but it was still entertaining and look how over it was! Hogan may not have been the most technical wrestler but I think a near 7 foot 300 pound giant dropping a leg on you is 100 times more believable than the head scissors move I described above and again that's a move that always got over. Kelly Kelly:Hottie but wrestling nottie!

What's with all the Kelly hate all of a sudden? Is she sleeping with The Undertaker now? Watch her "Wrestle" and then you wont need to ask that! She was fine when she was doing her "Extreme Expose" on ECW. That's all most of the Divas are good for:STRIPPING! Otherwise, if they can't perform at the level of a Mickie James,Gail Kim or Natalya Neidhart, then keep the out of the ring PLEASE!!!

Okay yeah almost all of them suck as far as their lack of in ring ability. But there's this one diva that does the stupidest in ring move I've ever seen in my entire 34 years of watching wrestling!
She does this weak flying head scissors move and yells while her opponent spins her around to pathetically create the illusion that this girl is defying gravity by spinning around in mid air, then she (the opponent) will flip herself over trying to make it look like this chick's flying head scissors move took her down. Anyone here know who I'm talking about? I want to know this chick's name so I can make an example out of how much she sucks and how unrealistic and unimpressive that move is!
Fortunately I haven't seen her in a while and maybe she's been released! I hope so because that move is beyond lame! Every time she does that head scissors,it looks like she's lost control and her opponent who is the one doing the spinning around while holding this chick whose legs are wrapped around the opponent's head holds still and just yells,it looks like this chick is about to be launched off the opponent's head and crash land on her back which would be okay and believable. But instead, we are supposed to believe this chick can triple spin around in mid air with her legs wrapped around her opponent's head and flip her over?? It's like watching a cartoon!

I was in attendance tonight and I must say that Divas match stunk up the joint really BAD! I know it's been said before but it must be said again most of the Divas CAN"T WRESTLE and this "Title" match between those 2 no talent Michelle Mccool and An Melina made the Khali/Ziggler match look like Flair/Steamboat by comparison! I agree with Melczer Jericho/Misterio stole the show but Hardy/Punk was a disapointment.

Okay here's another one which was also mentioned here earlier. I never understood Barry Windham joining the 4 Horsemen. He was one of their fiercest arch enemies fighting viciously along side the likes of Dusty Rhodes and Magnum TA,and the Road Warriors trying to end the Horsemen's evil reign of dominance.
I'll never forget reading in PWI how upset Barry was when his friend Lex Luger had become a Horsemen. Not to mention all the crap they had done in the past to Barry and his fellow baby face comrades. This is not documented in the WWE 's otherwise well done Horsemen 2 disc DVD. There is coverage that the Horsemen wanted to recruit him but not the long history they had previously of feuding with Windham.I even remember the angle that they wanted Windham to join but instead Barry had reunited with ousted Horsemen Lex Luger and they won the tag belts ftom Arn & Tully Clash of The Champions I.
That match is on the bonus DVD vbut I thought the rematch where Barry turned on Lex was better and way more dramatic. It was an incredible, exciting turn that just left you stunned. It was very well done and unexpected but I still didn't understand it.
What I really hated about the NWA back then was they did the same thing as WWF was doing having having all the heels, no matter what faction or differences, be best pals with each other as well as the Faces. I had had enough of that nonsense in WWF,the quality of wrestling and the storylines in the NWA were so much better I thought they'd at least not segregate the Heels and faces.
When Barry Turned on Lex,They had back stage interviews with other heels who used to battle with and hate Barry now singing him praises for what he did. Games master Kevin Sullivan with his varsity club bu his side said Windham was now "One of us,He's on our side now." Again like I said in my Paul Orndorff/Hogan post that would make sense to an 8 year old but not a more sophisticated wrestling fan. Windham joining his arch enemies the Horsemen(and dropping the tag belt when he could have easily pinned Arn Anderson) was one thing but I didn't recall him liking the Varsity club or the Midnight Express! In fact I always wanted to see the Horsemen match wits with some of the other heel groups.Anyways that's one I never understood.

I haven't been on here for a while so I'm assuming there's all ready been some threads about this? I'm talking about Wrestlicious a carbon Copy of that awful Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (G.L.O.W.) in the late 80's. I just found out from former GLOW wrestler "Hollywood" that the same people that were behind GLOW are involved with Wrestlicious.so I cant's call it a complete rip off.Another old freind of mine super model Lana Kinnear(who also wrestled in WOW) is performing as Malibu Mckenzie and kind of a rip off of Hollywood's character. They also have a farm girl like GLOW's "Farmer's Daughter"
From what little it shows of the girls wrestling, looks like the wrestling is top notch but then again that's bad.
I initially hated GLOW when I saw it on TV in the late 80's because I originally tuned in with the expectation of watching a serious wrestling show in the vain of the NWA. I hated what WWF had done to wrestling going way too mainstream, commercial and destroying kayfabe by doing lame backstage comedy skits on "Saturday Night's Main Event" and basically exposed themselves as frauds from the days when it was played off to be "real"
GLOW was very much the same but worse! But if I watch it with a sense of humor, not take it seriously and get off on the T&A, then I get it! But still the comedy was so corny and painfully cheesy but that was the intention right?
Also I notice when I watch old GLOW clips on You Tube I notice the wrestling itself was top notch all the way! Kind of pisses me off because with talent like that those girls deserved better and should have had their skills displayed on a real wrestling show where they would have all gotten the respect you deserved!
The no talent WWE divas of today should've been on GLOW and they should be on Wrestlicious! It just ticks me off how they got these hot super model types they try to fool us in to thinking they can wrestle! It's so insulting! You can count on one hand the girls in WWE that can actually work and those are the ones they have do most of the jobbing!
You ever watch a a Divas match especially when 2 no talents like Kelly Kelly or Michelle McCool wrestle each other? Notice how the crowd is dead silent durring their matches? It's even worse when you're there live! I usually heckle those bimbos by shouting "Nice WRESTLING move!" or "WEAK!"
At least TNA has brought credibility back to Women's wrestling. Now there's some hot babes that you can call WRESTLERS! I'm so glad Victoria is there now where her talents will be appreciated and not have to job or tap out in 2 minutes to someone like Kelly Kelly!
So, so far Wrestlicious looks like they have some talented girls or at least I hope. But I got to tell you, Lacy Von Erich?? Her dad, uncles and grandfather must be turning in their graves! That's heritage and tradition that should be put on a more serious platform, not a comedy show! This may be cold to say but the Von Erichs also have a suicide legacy so I guess Lacy is going to commit career suicide OOOHHHH!!!!! So again I'd rather see talented female wrestlers getting pushed in the big leagues and no talents like the divas demoted to something like Wrestlicous! I could be more forgiving of their lack of in ring ability!

I thought one of the most explosive and exciting heel turns in the 80's was Paul Orndorff on Hulk Hogan. Orndorff was on fire as one of the top baby faces and Hogan's main tag team partner and best friend.
Basically "Adorable" Adrian Adonis and the Bobby Heenan family had been heckling Orndorff about being in Hogan's shadow and clearly making him Jealous of Hogan.
You could see the turn building for weeks and it finally happened in a tag match with Hogan/Orndorf against Big John Stud and King Kong Bundy with Heenan managing them.
It was a very dramatic turn but what didn't make sense about it was how come Orndorff all of a sudden joined the Heenan family and seemed to have no hard feelings against them for all the crap they were giving him leading up to that?
He seemed just as hell bent on destroying the Heenan family as he was jealous of Hogan. So I thought he'd be an island on to himself feuding with both. Instead it was "I'm one of the bad guys now,I'm on your side." and it was a transformation.
It may have made sense to a an 8 year old but to an older more sophisticated wrestling fan like myself, it didn't make sense he'd rejoin the Heenan family with all the hostility he had shown for them durring the angle.
It also ruined Orndorff's career. Sure the battles he and Hogan had around the country grossed tons of money, but did anyone in their right mind believe "Orndwarf" (as Bundy used to call him) could beat Hogan?
Basically the feud ran its course,Hogan came out on top, then what? Orndorff got demoted after that and got lost in the shuffle.Had he stayed a face, he would have been in one of the main events of WM3 in my opinion.
Speaking of which, Andre the Giant joining the Heenan family never made sense to me either as they were longtime bitter hated enemies.
But Orndorff had no direction after that. He later turned Face again but nobody cared and because he lost the trust of the fans it was very awkward to be cheering him again. He had a lame feud with Rick Rude over who had a better physique. Rude clearly had a far superior build, and Orndorff's once mighty physique had been sagging at that point but they played it off like he had the better body of the 2 because he was the face then Paul faded further in to obscurity.
he almost joined the 4 horsemen in the WCW and would have been perfect for that and may have jump started his career but no sadly he never had the momentum he had before turning on Hogan.
