The thing is though, it's not my sister doing this on purpose. She just manages to always outshine me in everything. Either that, or when I try anything for myself, it just blows up in my face, meanwhile she just continually has fortune smile on her
I graduate from college and I spend $200 on ringside seats to a WWE event as a gift. We wind up getting lost on the way to the arena, and miss the whole show. My sister takes my little nephew to a braves game in Atlanta, and a tv producer sees them and on a whim takes them to meet Bobby Cox
I pour my heart and soul into a video game podcast and I just can't get listenership to increase. My sis, on a whim starts a blog about cooking and gets interviewed by half a dozen newspapers. I just tired of everything. I don't know how to deal with all of this blowing up in my face

Thanks for the info. I'm sorry to sound like such a jerk, but I get so tired of it all sometimes. I just wish I knew the secret to being happy with myself

Hello there. I need some advice. I am the end of my rope, and could use some real help.
I have a sister who is constantly overshadowing me in every single thing. She is better than me at everything, and is always managing to overshadow me in everything I do. Thing is, it's not her fault. She never does it maliciously. It's just the way the world seems to work. I would get a good grade, she gets a new job. I get a new job, she gets a better job. I have a solo in a chorus show, she gets into a car wreck and is miraculously unharmed except for a black eye, she comes to the theater in shades and gets all the attention that night. The worst was when we went to Disney World a few years ago. I got into the hot seat for millionaire play it. I was jazzed on this since I love game shows. I was doing great until I got back to the hotel and my sister and mom tell me that Katie just found out she's pregnant.
Well this is a preface to last year. At my birthday party, my sister made an offhand comment that she is adopting a child. No points then for guessing the person who was promptly forgotten at his own birthday dinner?
Well today she announced in Facebook that she has completed her home study, and now she is awaiting placement of their new bundle of joy. I am fully expecting for her to come to my next birthday dinner with a bassinet in her arms to again totally overshadow me AGAIN. I can't take any of this anymore. I just want a day in the limelight without having to give it up or have it blow up in my face
I don't know what to do anymore. If you have any advice I'd appreciate it
Brian~

Not only that, but a lot of arenas have service tunnels at the floor level where arena staff can open a trap door and climb down to check on pipes and stuff. Some companies are able to put the ring on top of that trap door and have the worker make his way up when the time is right

Yeah, thing is, I had her depressed because her life was so normal, but I realize now "heroes" already went down this road

Hey guys. I could use some help with a sci-fi/fantasy story I've been working on off-and-on for about two years
It's about a woman named Alisia who is about 30, is single, and lives a pretty normal life until one day she discovers she has the power to fly. The thrust of the story is basically how would a "normal" person deal with suddenly being given a "superpower" as it were.
What I need help with is, how do you think she should discover her power? I had an idea of her jumping off a bridge and opening her eyes to find she's not falling
I would love to work on my story, but I guess I just need some help getting myself started
Thanks in advance
Brian~

I don't know if this has been posted here before, but, ENJOY!
Apparently this took place at the American Legion Building in Corinth, MS (just up the road from the big tank) and apparently Jamie Dundee (always a calm, respectful person) cut a promo talking about how much they love "the black people", and the rabid, whitebread crowd at the American Legion Building in Corinth, MS (if you see the big tank, you've gone too far), didn't take too kindly to it, and thus a face riot broke out. Now, I don't know any more about this footage, but I do know one thing: It happened at the American Legion Building in Corinth, MS!

Here is perhaps the most unintentionally HILARIOUS promo I ever saw, courtesy of the human outtake... THA ONE MAN KRU!
Is it sad this promo makes me laugh hysterically every time?

Thank you guys so much for your advice. I am sorry to be that way. Thing about her is, she is, to use a TV Tropes phrase, a soapbox Sadie. I am no longer going to listen to her.
Again, thanks for listening.
Merry Christmas

hey guys, I was having a discussion with a co-worker today over text msg about the tragedy in Connecticut. I mentioned I was out Xmas shopping, and she lit into me, saying that I should be ashamed for myself for even thinking about Xmas shopping at a time like this. She said that we need to just cancel the holiday this year due to the tragedy, and it would be wrong to be merry when those families are suffering.
I LOVE Christmas, and I really want to celebrate. I made a donation today to a charity set up for the victims, and I have been praying every day for the victims and their families. Is it wrong of me to want to just have a good time with my family and enjoy Christmas with them?

Hey guys, I am trying to find two video game commercials I remember when I was a kid. One was a madden commercial with I believe Robert Brooks getting into an argument with the programmers about his "breakaway speed" and a programmer sheepishly telling him that "our numbers indicate you've...lost a step."
The other is one for I think Ken Griiffey Jr. Baseball that centers around a coach telling us that "he ain't just playin stick!"
I've scoured the net and can't find a blasted thing. Any help I could get from you guys would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Brian~

Hey guys. I am going as CM Punk this year on Halloween for my offices costume contest. I have everything I need, a punk shirt, ratty jeans, chuck taylors. I intend to slick my hair back and grow out my stubble. I then went out and bought some wrist tape, but I need to know, do any of you have any tips on how to properly tape my wrists to complete my Punk ensemble.
Thanks in Advance
Brian~
