As most of us know, the WWE has systematically been removing the moniker of "wrestling" from its broadcasts. We now heard they want to move the title World Wrestling Entertainment to simply WWE.
The companies prize position of its WrestleMania franchise. It will be hard to see that name change. EntertainmentMaina doesn't sound as appealing.

I think they could have kept him off tv and then repackaged him as an Italian from New York, which was what he really was.

When would have been good timing to run a mock terrorist attack in wrestling ? Just like the question is the comedic world, when is too soon ?

Bill Shatner is another person who looks extremely well for his age. For 79, he looks like a man in his 50s.

Do you look back on this angle and say this was very poor taste on the WWE's part ?
I know there was a bombing in London around the time they shot this angle, but even if that had not had occurred, could we still look back and say it was a bit too much.
For crying out loud, you had a guy depicting an Arab, coming to the ring with guys depicting insurgents, such as Al Qaeda.
I know it was revealed that Val Venis was one of them, but has it ever been documented as to who the other "terrorist" were ?

You got to figure his heel character is getting over is the bring Stone Cold back to use in that angle.
My prediction is that the Cole/Lawler match will take place in between the two championship matches.

Before Alberto Del Rio debuted on Smackdown, I saw him at a house show. When he came through the curtain, you couldn't tell if he was going to be a babyface or heel. Sometimes you can make an assumption if the opponent is already in the ring, but he came out first. As soon as he got in the ring, he got on the mic and started speaking in Spanish. The crowd instantaneously booed the crap out of him. I was amazing at how much heat he could generate just by picking up the mic and speaking in a foreign tongue.
It is like an insult to direct an audience in another language. Remember the old 80s wrestling formula ? Chant "USA" when someone comes out from another country. The overgeneralization is that American wrestlers are good and foreign wrestlers are the bad guys.

Yeah, talent has been appearing on both shows WAY before WrestleMania season.

So we have Connor OBrien dropping the rat gimmick and becoming a serious babyface competitor. Then, we have Lucky Cannon turning heel and wearing a ridiculous robe, in which the announcers continually goofed on. You have Darren Young with a haircut, and he also a serious competitor.
As far the rest of the roster, Titus ONeil appears to be a babyface and is having fun with Hornswoggle. It is still undetermined where Saxton or Novak stand as far as face or heel.

Besides, the people in the title picture or guys really low on the card, like JTG, I can't really tell who is "officially" Raw or Smackdown.
How many times over the past year have you seen guys appear on the other show? Also, for no reason, guys can easily switch brands in the middle of the show.

While cute, the stilt spot completely defied the logic of the match. While Kofi was scrounging around the ring to grab the broken ladder parts, there was a perfectly good ladder dangling along the outer ropes in plain view.
Realistically, it would be much easier to grab the good ladder and climb the ladder and grab the belt.
Another reason why I have lost interest in MITB matches is there are two many guys in the match. It has become more of a spot show to where there is less emphasis on trying to actually win the match.

Who else was disappointed with Henry's appearance in MITB ? When I first found he they were putting him in there, I was think "WOW! this unique, we had a big man in the match for the first time." Since this was WM, I though we would see something that hasn't been done before, like a big man taking a bump off the ladder. They should have at least given us an aided bump with Henry. For instance, two people at ring level, each grabbing a shoulder and bringing him down into a power bomb. Instead, he was totally useless to the match.

Let's face it, NXT is nothing more than the opening act for the Smackdown audience. When I went to a live Smackdown, I didn't bother to get to the arena until right before Smackdown started.

Plus Yoshi Tatsu is a "pro" without considering he debuted on ECW a few weeks before the first week of NXT began. Why can't the WWE give us all vets for pros ?

In the kayfabe sense, Young already gained his WWE contract when he was apart of the Nexus. Even after he was kicked out the Nexus, he still competed on Superstars. Did I miss something or is this just another lack of continuity by the WWE writing staff ?

With Boss Man, we also had to somehow believe that it took him nearly 2 years for him to realize that his manager, who was strongly suggested to be a pimp, was not exactly an honest man (he turned when he found out Slick was taking bribes from DiBiase). The Bossman face turn was like the Zangief situation at the end of the Street Fighter movie. Didn't Zangeif say something along the lines of "Wait a minute, we are not the good guys ?"

Interestingly, Hogan was left off this card and there was no WCW World title match.
