I would just be happy if people used full words and used the correct words. As in who's rather than whose. Kidding. I don't mind the long drawn out sentences too much. I use them sometimes myself but only in a sarcastic sense. Usually when I'm mocking people who use them all the time to try to make people think they're smart.

I was hoping this was going to be on WWE On Demand since I just watched the whole buildup. Of course they failed me. Meh.

Booker T vs Chris Benoit during the best of 7 feud stands out.
For some reason I don't have a very vivid memory when it comes to wrestling shows and concerts so I have to go off what other people say when they tell me what I saw. It's weird because I have a great memory in general.
Anyway I remember that match because it stands out to me though I couldn't tell you who won. I just remember being really into it.
Undertaker vs Mankind at a house show. Shawn Michaels vs Goldust at the same show. Bulldog vs Ahmed at the same show was awesome because Owen did a run in with his cast and knocked Ahmed out.

Same for me. Do you think it takes some of the excitement out of it for him?

This is the same year I started watching wrestling. It was actually just two weeks before SummerSlam when I started watching because I remember the build up of that 2 weeks. I was a Warrior fan from the start (even though I was only 3 turning 4 that year) This is evident when I look back because I had Warrior make up on in some old pictures.
As far as short Warrior matches in general. I was at a house show (my first one) and Warrior ran in and won in a squash I believe it was over Vader. He was in and out. My mom commented that if you blinked you would have missed him totally. I was still into him at the time and to be honest despite the fact that he's a less than stellar individual I still look back on him fondly.

Berzerker emulated Brody, right down to the "Huss!" This was Verne Gagne's doing after Brody became too unpredictable. Verne decided to go with John Nord and tried to make him the second Bruiser. As far as Richards voice it's raspy like that because of his throat surgeries. There are a lot of Japanese wrestlers that will emulate the characters from here in the states. They do it in places like Germany too.

To be honest I haven't watched in a while and didn't know that until just now. I didn't actually see the fight, so no idea how decisive it was. Fedor would still likely be a challenge for Brock, just not sure if he'd be enough to contain him. I looked it up and Fedor tapped in the first round.

Morgan and The Pope aren't exactly "home grown" talent.
They're former WWE rejects who got some hype around them and a push.
That would be like saying Christian was was a TNA built star.
This adds even more to the feeling that the TNA championship doesn't mean much out of TNA. Christian was the face of the company for a while and goes back to WWE and is a nobody again.
Though I do feel that TNA is best off going out and getting some more names from the indies and building for the future.
Let Heyman book if this is true and while it may not make TNA the number one brand in the world it will make for exciting televsion for those who already watch it.

It's disturbing that I also thought it said "sex tape" yet felt the need to click on it.

I'd like to see him and Fedor go at it becasue honestly it would be an amazing fight. As much as I dislike Brock I'm starting to feel more and more that he may be the guy to take out Fedor but I don't think it would be an easy fight for either guy. Not to take anything away from Fedor, but didn't someone already take him out? Or at least, they ended his streak. To be honest I haven't watched in a while and didn't know that until just now.

So this past week I was on vacation and was sharing a hotel room with my 6 year old nephew.
On Monday we watched part of RAW.
When they showed footage of the NXT guys attacking Vince he asked why they were attacking the "coach" He meant ref. I explained that Vince is the boss of the company and the guys who were beating him up were the bad guys. He said "The bad guys are stupid." Then during the main event when JoMo was in the ring doing his high flying stuff my nephew was getting excited and saying "whoa!"
Thursday we watched Impact and he really liked the in ring stuff. He got really into the matches. He never really picked out certain guys he wanted to win but enjoyed the action in the ring.
It took me back to when I was watching as a kid and getting excited like that. I think he may be a fan now and I like that.
I will say that when Madison did her entrance on TNA I was a little uneasy with him watching it but he didn't seem too interested in her until the match started.
Anyway
any of you that watch with kids. Does it take you back?

Lita actually had skill in the ring though. She wasn't just there for eye candy.

Stereotyped wrestling fans are who they gear thier programing towards. Look at the shows they advertise while TNA is on. MANswers, Half Pint Brawlers, The Ultimate Fighter
We can ignore the fact that Impact rates higher than the other shows on the network. I mean that's only a fact an not an opinion so it really has no room for argument here.
Anyway I don't even think the show is that bad now that I've watched a little bit of it again.
I watched it with my 6 year old nephew on Thursday and he was super excited by the things going on in the ring. He didn't much care for the talking parts but during the in ring action he was way into it.

Mick Foley could come out with a TV and watch Animaniacs reruns while wrestlers were not allowed in "his part of the ring" with the TV, and I'd still like to see him around. That would make me want to see him even more.....

Triple H is a poor worker no one disagrees with that and hes more over only because he works for the biggest company in the world. He would be laughed out of an arena even at his "prime".The guy has never been a great wrestler. I disagree with that. Around 99-00 dude was GREAT. He's still good, but as has been said, injuries and time will play a role. Plus, the guy can pop a crowd and sell merchandise hand over fist. There's more to being a good wrestler than the moves. I disagree with this. Great? He was hardly great. He was an ok brawler and nothing more. Just like The Rock.
