In a funny note, on the Mexico airing of Raw live on 3/7, the announcers referred to Mason Ryan on several occasions as “Batista II.”

Bragging about partying isn't smart.
At all.

He really shouldn't win it. The title is passed around way too much nowadays - let guys like Del Rio, Miz, Sheamus, Danielson, Mistico and Cena carry WWE into the future. Morrison doesn't need a title to validate his contributions to the midcard. What the hell? How is giving the title to someone who's consistently put on show-stealing matches 'passing it around too much'? Because the title is basically worthless now. Passing it to career midcarders isn't going to help anyone involved.

--John Morrison claimed that he and girlfriend Melina are now banned from Skybar in Los Angeles. Somehow I don't think this is something they should be bragging about, noting they are both partying too heavily. WWE really needs to teach its wrestlers a class in common sense and twitter, because it's annoying once a month to see outright lack of common sense manifest itself by watching people do useless jobs on television just as they are starting to get momentum. Don't be that guy. Or that girl.

The Austin thing obviously had something to do with it but NEVER have I heard of 1 million people tuning out at the exact same time, no matter what. They didn't do it after Rock's promo last week or after any other big return. A large portion may leave but ONE MILLION? Get outta here.

Raw on 3/7 did a 3.92 rating and 5.78 million viewers. The show did a 3.42 rating in Males 18-34 and 68% men. It was the highest rated Raw since August 24, 2009, where a show with Floyd Mayweather Jr., as guest host did a 3.93 rating. The show actually did a lower rating in the second hour than the first, which is a rare occurrence. The show did 68.1% males. It was the highest rated show on cable that night. It was also the highest rated show, broadcast or cable, among Male teenagers (4.5 rating). In the segment-by-segment, the Undertaker interview opened at 3.91, so the people were there at the start. The brawl and Randy Orton vs. David Otunga match gained 71,000 viewers, which is good. Christian vs. Brodus Clay and the Sunny video gained 219,000 viewers. I’d credit that to the Sunny video as that was something nobody would turn the channel during. Plus it did a 5.2 among teenage boys which blew away everything else on the show except the Austin segment, and no way that’s to see Christian vs. Clay. It also says something that they market heavily to the idea of getting teenagers to watch the hot girls wrestle and it doesn’t make a difference, and some videotape of a woman most of them never saw before who had a great look when she was 23 worked like nobody’s business this very week. Amazing. Even more so, Eve Torres vs. Nikki Bella lost 610,000 viewers (5.2 to 4.2 among those teenage boys turning it off). That’s bad no matter what time of the show. The JBL/Michael Cole/Steve Austin segment gained 961,00 viewers to a 4.46 rating, which is the best quarter hour in a long time. In 12-17 Males, they were up from 4.2 to 5.5 (81% of teenagers watching were male–a ridiculous number for Raw so that tells you what audience Austin was drawing and the key is, that is the audience that wasn’t even around for the most part when Austin was at his peak) and in 18-49 Males they were up 3.1 to 4.2 for the Austin segment. With 18-49 Males, nothing came close all night. Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus lost 1,102,000 viewers, which is the largest number of viewers tuning out of a segment on any show we’ve monitored in years and years. It’s totally clear this audience came to see Austin, and once they saw him, they left, and only came back at 11 p.m. thinking something big was going to happen whether it’s Austin, Rock or just the Cena promo, and I think it’s a combination of all three. C.M. Punk vs. R-Truth, and the Shawn Michaels promo and a Vickie Guerrero interview lost 119,000 viewers. John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler lost 43,000 viewers. The promise of John Cena knocking out Rock in the promo department and Miz attack did excellent numbers, gaining 965,000 viewers. Could be that, or perhaps people may have expected Austin back one more time, but they did a 4.25 overrun. Source: Today's WO.

With Booker now confirmed to be at the table, how do you think they'll handle the rest of the show? Logically, they should have Rock come out to start the show and announce that since Cole/King are wrestling they can't announce so he had to find a replacement. Have him bring out JR and put him over huge and we can have JR/Booker/Someone else. Have Cole/Lawler happen somewhere mid-show and of course Lawler goes over and Cole gets taken out(JR gets to do his "AUSTIN" lines and watch his friend King get a victorious WM match) and finally ends with King coming out and reuniting with JR for either Miz/Cena or Taker/HHH AND Miz/Cena.
That's the logical route but knowing WWE we'll get Striker calling the show solo.

It still baffles me how anyone can hate Rey. He's one of the best workers WWE has ever had.

Miz really isn't all that great of a promo. You can tell he's reciting lines...that said, he's better than a lot of people on the roster I suppose, but nowhere near a Rock level or even a Cena level.

Has there ever been a worse world title build to a WrestleMania...ever? I mean the champion is a complete afterthought in the entire feud. Rock/Cena has hype, great promos, fans tuning in for more. Cena/Miz had a horrible promo last week...I think the idea was they'd try to have all three of them have a promo war but Miz just wasn't in their league and now he's the odd man out. Either that or the creative team is on the wacky weed.

I'd say F4W/WO. Meltz is basically the only reliable news guy out there.
