They REALLY need to make the two main titles mean more first. I'd say scrap money in the bank(I know, boo, but it's ruined the titles) and quit giving everyone and their brother a run with the title. Do you know the last champion who cleanly and decisively earned his first world title was? Jeff. And before that RVD. Edge, Swagger, Sheamus, Punk all had fluke wins that did nothing to help them or the title. They've all survived but I'd say these guys are stars despite the MITB concept, not because of it.

He just posted this "Just wanted to check in and let you guys in on a quick note. I noticed there was no pyro on the show tonight and I noticed this back at BFG as well. I thought maybe in October that the venue did not allow it but after not seeing any tonight I decided to ask someone. I was told that they don't have to pay to use it in Orlando as Universal supplies it so they still use it there. On the road they have to so they no longer are in order to cut costs."

Young is wearing what I believe is a TNA replica now, as opposed to the real thing.

I can't wait for the Jeff/Karen wedding, though they should do it after a match.

{Spoiler}Austin is reffing the Lawler/Cole match {Spoiler}But if Cole is choosing the ref, that doesn't make any sense. {Spoiler}Obviously some shennanigans will ensue, likely all involving the GM. I also imagine JR will call the match so that you get Lawler getting revenge on Cole and JR blowing his load all over Austin/Lawler.

This guy's very reliable...believed to be recently released Shark boy. Alvarez/Meltzer hasn't banned him so he's something legitimate.

From the TNA source over at the WO forums: Lockdown ticket sales have been very good so far. At the current sales rate of the tickets there is talk of possibly breaking their US attendance record.
Right now the top matches for Lockdown look to be Fortune vs Immortal in the Lethal Lockdown match, Jarrett vs Angle and a World Title match which has yet to be decided on. Prior to Sting winning the title I was told it would be Hardy vs Anderson vs RVD but that is obviously out the window at this point.
As of now Slammiversary is scheduled to take place in Orlando but buildings are being scouted just in case they decide to take it on the road. They were close to booking a venue in Texas for the event but things didn't work out.
As I reported before, there has been talk of holding Bound for Glory in the UK this year but as of late that talk has died down a bit. The Hammerstein Ballroom has been talked about for the event in the past several weeks.
Vince Russo is looking to bring in someone that is legit at least 6'9 or so. He says one thing holding the company back is the lack of true giants and claims that is one thing that has always helped WWE draw well.
Chase Stevens was backstage at the shows in NC trying to get work but TNA has no interest in bringing him back. David Young was also backstage visiting friends.

They do make a profit on DVD sales, but it's so bare and minimal... iit's nothing really special. Why do we see terrible straight to DVD releases from bigger studios? Because someone would buy it, most likely. And it's apparently dirt cheap (comparatively) to do so. As long as it's not hampering my wrestling, I shouldn't care. And I don't. The WWE has managed to keep their movie business out of their wrestling and TV so far, so that shouldn't anger anyone. Legendary and Knucklehead have actually both lost money on DVD sales.

No you don't, but you did it anyway. Old joke is old. And internet jokes are SOOO in. I'll make up my own card like Meltzer. WWE: Cena vs Miz (or in his new name, Biff Miz Stabpunch) (c) (w/Rock as enforcer) World: Edge(c) vs Christian vs Del Rio U.S. Daniel Bryan (c) vs King Sheamus in a Gail Kim on a pole match Tag: Santinov vs R-Truth & Curtis (c) Divas: Eve(c) vs Natalya vs Beth Phoenix MITB 7 IN A PUNJABI PRISON WITH JBL HOLDING A SOAP: Morrison vs Kofi vs Ted Jr. vs Henry vs McIntyre vs Masters vs Jake Roberts vs Trent Barretta Undertaker vs HHH (tickling death match) CM Punk vs Orton Rey M. vs Cody Rhodes Big Show, Kane+ Kaientai vs The Corre Lawler vs Cole (w/Swagger) Oh and a Reverse battle royal for the rest Meltzer didn't make up the card , he's not even the source.

I have a plethora of friends that share my interests in various television, sports, and music but for the most part a hardcore wrestling ally has always eluded me. Last year I got a new roommate for college, had known him for a while but never thought to mention wrestling to him. I come in one Monday night after a date and he's sitting in front of the TV eating spaghetti watching RAW. The rest, as they say, is history.
