It was Robert Evans, from what I remember he got yelled at by Vince and Evans basically said I don't need this shit and quit. I think also, Triple H made a point of thanking Vince and of course that was just fine. You'll be eating your words once Vince actually does buy AEW just to fire Billy Gunn again for mentioning him at the Hall of Fame

I'm just gonna say this here since Reddit's become such a circle jerk that sometimes you can't point out the truth if it doesn't point WWE in a bad light. In 2020, Andrade got suspended while he was champion and they let him keep the title. He got injured and missed WrestleMania, then he got injured again later in the year. It's not as if WWE didn't try with him and just left him out there to die. He made mistakes himself and had unfortunately timed injuries that took him out of the picture. WWE seems to consistently be tough on those who get injured often, so when you have to be taken off TV THREE times in one year, I'm not surprised Vince would move on a little. Let's also keep in mind though, maybe WWE has decided that it's stupid to bring Andrade back right before WrestleMania for no reason and were going to re-introduce him after the fact. You really think he would ask for his release if the plan is bring him back after Mania?? There is only 28 days left. He's out since October last year It's pretty clear that there is not a single creative plan for him right now There probably aren't any creative plans for anyone post WrestleMania and it's clear he's not in the picture for WrestleMania. Andrade was also (allegedly) injured back in October so we have no idea how long he's been healthy enough to come back to TV.

Paige VanZant isn't gonna accept the contract she'd be given, nor NXT. She'd be expected to go the Kacy Catanzaro route and I think WWE would swiftly see she's not gonna be NEARLY as good as people would assume. Ronda had size and a legitimate Olympic background and aura. Paige is the archetype of "pretty face who won a couple of fights so they tried to put the entire house on her."
She lost to an alien in BKFC. If she loses again, she'll stick to her OnlyFans-esque thing she's doing now FOR CERTAIN.

They did one of these for best Survivor Series wrestler of all time back in November and Randy Orton wasn't even included. That should be a bigger controversy than this.

She keeps posting about it and then blocks people / yells at them for calling her out on it. That’s got nothing to do with the fact that, again, WWE seems to be fine with people going out in Florida in crowded places and Florida is fine with stuffing people into crowded places for the sake of the economy. It’s all well and good calling her out about it over and over but there comes a point where it won’t matter in some places because they’re letting this happen in the first place. And no, conference calls of HHH saying “You kids shouldn’t be doing that” because those words aren’t being followed up by actions. Kacy should be reprimanded too for certain. Cutler was fired cuz he traveled on a plane to a state with strict quarantine rules to go party and then immediately came right back.

So, just no concept of personal responsibility? Just why single her out when she's far from the only WWE wrestler doing this shit? I get more mad at the systems enabling her to act like this. She keeps posting about it and then blocks people / yells at them for calling her out on it. She also posted pictures of her maskless hanging out with two of her friends who were protesting the election at the Capitol a month ago.

They need to reinstate the Macho King rule of 91. You don't enter the ring by the time the next entrant comes out, you're gone. That's not what the rule was. The rule was you had to make your entrance, not enter the ring. Macho King didn't show up at all.

Nexus. People talk like it's a travesty that they didn't make it all the way to Wrestlemania but I was tired of them by Summerslam. Every show for months ended with their almost robotic looking beatdown segment (Ryback clothesline then Gabriel hesitating for 30 seconds before the 450 then Barrett finishing it off with his weak looking move). Heath Slater was getting pinfall wins over people like John Cena, Edge and Chris Jericho. It was a good meme but wins over guys like that should be saved for potential main event players not wasted like that. Once Bryan left there was only one of them who was above average in the ring (Gabriel) and one who was above average on the mic (Barrett). It was a bunch of guys who were low-level developmental talent and they were dominating the show for 6 months. Barrett had a good match with Cena at Hell In A Cell but other than that he was stinking up the joint. His pay-per-view main events with Orton were all-time bad. Groups like Evolution and The Shield at least had good matches. Nexus was a chore to watch outside of a few matches/segments. Heath Slater is a way better wrestler than anyone on the planet gives him credit for. He's definitely above average and that's a big reason why Bret Hart exclusively worked with him at SummerSlam and the MSG house show he did or whatever that was.

Only 15 Cameos left? So they can set limits on how many they'll do? If so, that's only $15,000 for him.

The reason is probably a mix of things but COVID almost certainly made it a no brainer considering the NXT crew is now exclusively operating out of the Performance Center and not going anywhere near the Thunderdome.

I was at this show. Only things I remember about it was the Kennedy thing and being offered(and buying)super cheap tickets for Smackdown the next night. You're telling me you don't remember Vince going "YOU'RE AN EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENOS!" and then saying "You know what rhymes with Enos..."

Paul and Steph have daughters exclusively. I would hope he wouldn't be so vile cuz like it or not, those girls will be in the mix of it one day too 1. I think that becoming a father has demonstrably made Hunter grow as a human being. He is clearly a different guy to the one burying everyone on the full-time roster - it's convenient that he achieved this growth after mostly retiring, but that doesn't make it fake growth. 2. That said, never undestimate that blindness of a parent to the fact that they think that either a) their kid will never be the victim of this, what are the odds of Clark and one of his kids being in the locker room at the same time? b) they don't think their kids would have the capacity to become like Clark when they grow up in an environment like WWE, which enables people like him to thrive. Patrick Clark is 24 years old, it's not that absurd for someone that age to talk to 19 year olds. I don't know what you're trying to win here, bro. Even if everyone accepts that this 19 year old was well within bounds for Clark, the underage kids he reached out to are still a thing? I'm not trying to argue whether Dream is or isn't a weirdo, but as far as the "accusations" go the only time he's asked for shirtless pics of someone was when they were of legal age. So WWE's not gonna fire the guy just because he's weird.
