That is super depressing to me to be perfectly honest. Especially looking back at what he had hoped to gain from going to TNA. I would love to see him come back for a limited run and a Legends deal, but have no idea where his head is at.
I stopped watching TNA years ago because I personally couldn't bare the cringe factor it induced every time I made myself check it out so I don't know where the product is at right now, but from the sounds of it and by what I've read on this forum and other sources things haven't ever stepped up as far as what I would enjoy. That said, as always I hope he does what makes him happiest, but I really think more than ever that that will include him finally getting away from that place.

I'm on board with this idea.
I think the way they are doing it at the moment even hurts Reigns significantly. If they do split, then they've already diminished the other two guys he may be feuding with or the other two singles commodities they'd have in the mix at that point. They absolutely do not need to do these ultra pushes in the terms of wins and losses with guys already getting reaction, that should be saved for the guys who need that little extra to get over, something that is clearly not needed in this scenerio

Due to the increasingly aggressive and angry tone of this thread it is locked.

I've solidly hated Ryback's gear throughout. It reminds me of a goofy mess of Rhyno and Ultimate Warrior's airbrushed singlet.
Brodus Clay's singlet that somehow always lets his one boob slip out always looks silly to me
I'll also join the Rey Mysterio costume hate club. Was just watching the Mania with his Avatar getup. The cringe-factor was pretty big when he hit the ring with it, gets worse and worse as years pass.
Kevin Nash having his own name still all big on the front of his attire like anyone would ever confuse him for anyone else has always been super off for me.

I liked them before. Now I am a 3.5MB Mark. May they be blessed by the totem of Edge and Christian and continue to grow in both exposure and entertainment

Vince McMahon comes out on Raw, tells us Lesnar winning "was all a dream". Cue 22-0 graphic on the video screen. What could anyone possibly find wrong about that? Do it on an episode with celebrity host Patrick Duffy and I think its pretty much gold!

I think it is certainly an interesting idea and a creative way to have it done if such a thing were to be done, but I don't think there is any way to "save" the streak without crapping on pretty much everybody.
I think the best they could do is have Taker come out and say he's starting a new streak, one soul at a time. Leave it at that and go from there.

But whatever would he wear? If only there was some perfect headwear he could don to the ring... A fedora? Hey could tip his fedora and say "M'lady" to all the women. Biggest heel pop of the century!

Bryan feud. He's a guy that looks good in losing and can make others look good by winning. "The Ultimate Opportunist" pouncing at the right time at some point in the feud to take the belt and then lose it back would be superior to almost anyone else doing it.
Also a new Legends E n' C with Christian doing whatever the hell they wanna do would totally reek of awesomeness!

I'm glad the sacrifice of my Wild can bring someone some joy Seriously though, he looks happy and well rested.

I think you can tell they are really trying to regain some of the lost luster of those belts. They have been heavily featured, heavily talked about, and fought for intensely in tournaments or this battle royal leading into a defense on Smackdown. What they mean at THIS point is it is potentially were the midcarders want to be again.
It may not be good times again just yet, but its moving in the right direction rapidly as far as I see it

The things I learned from those were how Bad News Barret could work as a face and how Big E can work as a heel. Also I've been liking Big E's charisma as of late. Not A+, but I think unlike most hosses he can sell a character. That pissiness about losing worked.

He's certainly the best at it when it comes to monster hosses. So while all in all you can put others over him in general for trash talking, nobody does any part of what he does better. I still crave seeing him add new members to the Hall of Pain!

How does it play? Is it just strung together without context or is there intros explaining whats going on?

I just had a possible idea. What about some kind of gimmick that takes advantage of some of the stuff that he is? Like maybe some kind of really awesome generous philanthropist. Take shades of the Million Dollar Man, Jay-Z, and Oprah and roll it up into something in which he can wear more up to date clothes and suits on occasion and uses his money and celebrity to get over on the heels. Gives away cool stuff to members of the crowd on occasion (and YOU win a car!) and can even go back a tiny bit to his old hip-hop character roots. Not sure what update to his ring attire that would entail, but I for sure think that is needed regardless.

Nothing, Let's Go Cena, Cena Sucks is ingrained into the minds of the viewers. So you're saying either a Two-Face or Jekyl and Hyde gimmick

I like John Cena. I like his wrestling, I think he is smooth on the mic, and as a person he seems like a great guy for the most part. However despite all of this I don't like seeing him on TV. The most often heard criticism is that he is stale and his schtick has become corny and tired. The most often heard solution is to turn him heel. Now this may or may not ever happen. There are opportunities and there are teases, but it doesn't seem likely. We got the most recent situation with Bray Wyatt, but what if that doesn't happen. WWE likes the money he generates in merch sales by being face so he'll likely stay face.
However what if there is a way to both freshen him up AND keep him face? What tweaks could be made to the character that could accomplish this?
Anything from costume changes, to character changes. Gold camo tights and tassels? Facepaint and riding a horse? Perhaps he starts speaking in pig-latin and forms an international stable with Santino and Rusev?
So what can he do to stay a good guy and not be so stale to a lot of people?

For anyone who thinks the best match of the night won't be when Wade Barret wins the IC belt...I've got some BAAAAAAD NEWS!!! Seriously though he's been my personal favorite for a good while and I'm all sorts of jazzed to see him get back up there in elevation. I'm also quite impressed at how well he made a pretty crappy gimmick work. Spun that turd into gold he did!
