Who are people to doubt Robert Roode? He's doing everything right.

BTW, is there ANY update on Scott Hall? I actually was feeling the same as Nash (whether kayfabed or not) when he said that he was worried about his health. I guess the whole Benoit thing made this "main event no-show at PVV"-stuff kind of creepy and you fear the worst.
As much as I was disappointed with the main event being ruined, I worry far more for Scott Hall knowing that his personal life anything, but problem-free...

As soon as they realized Hall was LATE, they should have searched for an alternative. Maybe they should have had backup even before that, but Hall SEEMED to be stable...
However Eric Young was not the best choice. He had an injury (KAYFABE!) and wrestled before in a singles match. The best choices would have probably been Jeff Jarrett, Sting or someone from the Feast or Fired match since that was just a battle royale which is not as exhausting as a singles match.
Best choices IN COMBINATION WITH Joe's shoot: Jay Lethal, Homicide, Hernandez, Matt Morgan, Petey Williams... They even could have Joe dismiss Nash and replace the Outsiders with LAX.
Best alternatives to have planned with as backup IF Hall might not show up: Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Sabu (no, forget it he unreliable as hell, too), RVD (now that would be a markout), Vampiro, Sean Waltman (he's not as unreliable as Hall)

...and after seeing that and history having revealed more and more "behind the scenes" information you STILL wonder WHY wrestling has such a bad rap?
If someone convincingly by all mean tries to sell you his truth, which turns out to be a bunch of motherf***ing lies, HOW, HOW could you trust them? Wrestling IS artificial, there is NO doubt about that.
If we had wrestlers acting like THAT today, the whole Benoit thing would have a far worse aftermath on the image of pro wrestling. It would probably be somewhere close to the image of people reenacting bloody schoolgirl rape.
I totally understand that you don't want to hear people, who have no clue, talk about how you are big only because you took steroids, how wrestling is fake, etc., etc. But, you DO NOT threaten them with violence, you DO NOT hit them, you DO NOT LIE and say "NO I DON'T TAKE STEROIDS!"
If you are able to articulate yourself properly you can say things like:
"Please tell me how to fake a fall from 8 feet to the canvas!" "You do not get big by taking steroids. Why are ALL muscular people regularly working out if you just have to take funny pills to get big?" "I offer you a free training at a local wrestling school. Tell me how fake it is after that!"
Yelling and insulting people gets you nowhere. That Jim Wilson guy was actually pretty professional for not acting like a rabid monkey with acute roid rage (if there is such thing) and remaining calm no matter how Dr. (Dr? I seriouly doubt he even went to college) Death David Schultz insulted him.
Wrestling has gone a long way from those days and today promoters are intelligent enough to have guys like John Cena, Chris Jericho or Kevin Nash represent their company on TV. Ok, Cena and Jericho STILL were dodging and dissimulating the truth, but not in such an impudent way as Schultz.
If wish there more wrestlers like Kevin Nash. He's very intelligent, articulate and today makes no secret about the dark sides of the business. He openly admitted to heavy drinking, steroids, backstage arguments, drug abuse and such as being part of the business. However he clears up a lot of false rumours and all that in a witty and not insulting way.

Killings. I missed his and Shamrock's run(s), but Killings just seems WAY too much a midcarder than he could ever be close to winning the gold again.
Abyss' run was also VERY forgettable, since it just sucked big time and was a total waste. It just made Abyss AND the title look weak.

THIS > any "musical" attempts by John Cena
The sales of this as a single > Lillian Garcia's CD

Maybe she secretly took part in the WDC title match to make it a 3 way between Storm, Young and her...
...this post is wrong on multiple levels, I know.

Oddly enough, when I saw the title I thought put himself in a HUGE bottle. Maybe that's the lack of sleep talking. I thought something WAY worse, WAY worse... Must be because I just read that Leticia Cline thread and subconsciously thinking of perverted urban wrestling legends... Ricky Morton and stuff...

Where did he hide in "Thunder in Paradise" again? A submarine? A sumarine prison? I don't remember... well I only watched the crappy programme to see wrestlers like Jim Neidhart hang around at beach bars anyway.

I watched it then, but I didn't notice that they were actually drunk. Perhaps I thought they were just playing drunk since it was Spring Break. Now that I see it and know more about them it's damn obvious that they were drunk and that Hall stumbling and the Giant getting him wasn't planned.
It was awesome! Great Entertainment! I totally love it!

OMG!!! IN THE FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!!!! If the DIVA SEARCH was like that I would probably like it more. It would also help to keep useless skanks like Torrie Wilson out of the ring...

Brody was a douche for acting like that. I heard he wanted to teach the "football guy" Lex Luger a lesson, but I don't think it was appropriate at all. You may no sell one or two shots or work stiff and put on a legit hold, but you don't crap all over the booking by shooting like that.
Too bad he was murdered, but his attitude probably was at least part of the motive of that crime.

Anybody else absolutely despise Vampiro after reading Jerichos book? I mean, i never liked him anyway, but he really comes off like an ass in there. What did Jericho write about Vampiro? Anyway, does anybody else think that Vampiro's face looks A LOT like Chris Benoit's face? I always thought these two looked a lot alike...

Because Brian Blair is a punk!!!!!! No good low life........ Thats what Shieky told me. Yeah, I heard the same thing. Too bad for Jim Brunzell, who is a good guy, that he was stuck with this no good motherf***er. Even sucking Mr. Hulk Hogan's ass and dick didn't help.
