Who are AEW's legit toughest guys? Mark Henry, Malaki Black, Miro, Ogogo, Keith Lee, Claudio, Hook and Hager are my picks to click. Apparently Kenny Omega has a 4-3 MMA record.

There is zero chance Punk ever goes back to WWE. Hell, when Punk signed with AEW, Fightful reached out to WWE about it, and their response was: "Good. He's their problem now". WWE didn't even want him on WWE Backstage, but FOX hired him on and paid him. I think if anyone would end up in WWE because of this, it would probably be The Elite if they actually do walk out. Because Tony seems like a doormat, letting Punk walk all over him like this. Of course he's going back! That's part of the obvious work! All those things that were said...the lawsuit...the staph infection, getting served the termination papers on his wedding day....all a big work. Everything is a work! Montreal Eddie Guerrero's death TieGate The sun rising every day The air being sucked into my lungs If I preemptively say something is a work, and I turn out to be right, then I can be like "Told Ya So!!!" when it happens. And believe me... I'll do it!! However, if I'm wrong, then I'll refrain from admitting as much. (I may even go back and delete my old posts.) No, you don't delete anything, you just keep them up, refrain from admitting it, and keep doing so until you either are proven right or expire! Then put it on your tombstone "Wait and See" and everybody will believe you've spoken wise last words on your tombstone and never know you were just being a stubborn Wrestle-douche.

I feel like this is a situation in which Punk is upset about the fact that the ending of a lifelong friendship keeps getting drudged up.
But being upset doesn't really excuse him for acting the way he has lately. Not reconciling with Colt I get, but his shit with Hangman I don't get. He made a comment in a promo that was a little close to the belt, but none of this shit would have become as public as it has, or escalated as much as it has if you weren't dumb enough to go into business for yourself.

the scrum opened on punk like "F*** COLT CABANA I HATE THAT DICK YOU KNOW WHAT F*** PRICKS F*** EVERYONE YOU KNOW I WOULDNT EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THIS BULLSHIT IF F***ING LOSER EVPS DIDNT LEAK BULLSHIT AND YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE F*** HANGMAN" this is insane That is miserable man In context he was going off on a reporter who was making these things public and I can understand his annoyance for people behind the scenes who fed this reporter, but he certainly didn't do himself any favors by going into business for himself.

So... What was the point of Moxley bodying Punk 2 weeks ago if Punk was getting his win back so quickly and clean? You do this every once in a while it's shocking. As long as it doesn't become a habit it's fine.

And they stuck the landing. What a weird PPV. It was different than AEW's normal brand.

They always do the whole "ref's discretion thing" in World Title matches. And all other matches. The borrow a lot from Japanese wrestling.

what was that backstage view It was a thematic choice. We needed to see the ass of the champion to truly understand what CM Punk has to kick.

Eh, substandard AEW PPV is still better than 99% of other wrestling shows. I still wouldn't call this substandard, it's been a bit odd but like the matches have hit for the most part. Kingston Vs. Ishii was an absolte gem, Casino Ladder match was weird but will likely have a one of a kind payoff, Trios Title was great, Tag titles were great. Jade Vs. Athena was utter trash, Hobbs Vs. Starks wasn't great but does leave room to build, women's title was decent and at least sets up Hayter Vs. Baker, Jungle Boy Vs. Christian is what it is it will make the payoff much bigger, Wardlow FTR Vs. Machismo guns was fun, Danielson Vs. Jericho was sinfully boring. The fact that I call this substandard is more of a statement on their typical quality than anything.

Well I think in this case it adds more heat to Christian and makes the pay off even bigger so I don't mind this. they could've done this angle on Dynamite or even Rampage live. You do it there though everybody expects it. No one sees it coming on PPV. AEW doesn't do finishes like that on PPV often this being the second time they've done it (although the fact that the other time was on this PPV does hurt my case somewhat) so it's more excuseable.

Just me or has Jericho looked a bit off tonight? Considering his recent run of form, yes he absolutely has.

SRS says that Christian is injured THEN DON'T BOOK THE MATCH! Well I think in this case it adds more heat to Christian and makes the pay off even bigger so I don't mind this.

This match is about a good 6-7 years past the point where I really cared to see it.
Maybe if it wasn't almost 11 or the pace was faster.

Well shit, I didn't see that coming. It lets the feud continue and builds to a bigger payoff down the line, where Christian gets a thorough no rules shit beating.

This wasn't a make or break match for the Acclaimed. This was their breakout moment, there will be others.

If anybody still thought the Acclaimed was just a character they may now officially shut up.
