you'd think people who tolerate cena overcoming the odds and the dating game/wwe idol could tolerate angle beating joe and angle berating his family. or at least i would think. When I see ga-ga, I at least like it to be up and happy. All the ga-ga in TNA is always real angry with all yelling and carrying on. And say what you will about Cena's reign, but at least it's a young face on top.

A lot of people on the internet (like me) are frustrated, but I remember reading in either the Torch or the Observer that TNA IMPACT scores its highest ratings in the demographics of... 1. Little kids. 2. Males over 34. 3. Old ladies. If they're pulling their best ratings with those three groups, I don't think they really care what 18-27 males think (and the category of which I, and I assume many on the board fall into).

I sporadically follow Impact and it seems to be the most predictable show ever. "who would have thought Karen Angle would turn on poor Samoa Joe and side with her husband..." stupid. At least with the dating game / wwe idol we can watch Regal.

no thanks i think quite a few workers in tna have solid in ring talent and that is what i watch wrestling for. i can stand dumb storylines and wasted title belts. i mean i do still watch wwe. Then you're a hypocrite. Unless you honestly don't think Vince's illegitimate child is a dumb storyline or Hornswaggle with Cruiserwight title and the IC never getting defended aren't wastes of belts.

Well, good luck with that. While I disagree with some of the things I see in WWE, TNA, ROH, CZW, IWA: MS, Shimmer, PWG and any other wrestling promotion I watch (I want to get into more Japan stuff soon), I generally enjoy it. But that's just me.

Nah, my house wouldn't make a difference anyway. I don't order the PPVs though, and I used to still buy the DVDs ("I'm just one man, what's the difference?!"), but I don't now because....well, I just don't care about them.

This year, quite a few of Cena's title defenses were toss-ups such as his match with Shawn at Wrestlemania. Nearly every month on a TNA PPV, you can guarantee run-ins or outside interference and they came through yet again on Sunday. And you can count on it happening again next month.

Sorry, I can't support the boycott. While I'm disappointed with some of the booking/creative decisions, I'm going to try to be more patient in the interim.

After Hard Justice, I don't know if a boycott will even be necessary. That show summed up everything that was wrong with TNA. They have great workers and should be putting on amazing matches, but their fetish for former WWE workers and screwjob/swerve endings just kills the product.

The swerve/screwjob ending is effective when done in moderation, not every single month or so.

Unless you are a "Nielson family" then your boycott of a TV show does nothing to help it.
PPV's and live shows tho...

I know i don't post here incredibly often, but i do post at the TNA boards quite often and we are trying to get wrestling fans to take a stand and boycott the watching of impact this thursday and for as long as it takes for TNA to get the message. The creative team is in a continuous downward spiral, and they need to hear the opinion of the people, but we can't do it alone, tell all of your friends who watch wrestling or post at other boards to get people to boycott impact this Thursday the 16th. We may also be starting an e-mail campaign, but for right now we need to stop watching impact. thanks chris It won't matter unless they are Nielsen families.

I have emailed them twice (Angle/Joe 1 not being live on Dish and a free DVD that I forgot why I got) and received a standard form letter in response telling me that I would hear from them in 5 to 7 business days as long as it didn't concern storyline suggestions or creative feedback. I never heard back. Anyway, I haven't watched regularly in months now its been so bad and if it wasn't for this board and news recaps, I'd have no clue what's going on.

I never heard back. That's too bad. It wouldn't hurt for people to try, though. There are a lot of people who have been posting so much about TNA's creative direction lately -- if a good portion of them (at least) sent something off to TNA, it may at least give the company a clue about a great deal of its fans' frustrations and where it's coming from.

Wouldn't make a lot more sense to boycott the PPVs? That's where it would be noticeable and hurt TNA.
