I can't put my finger on it, but I love Necro. The guy is just great. He's mastered the hardcore style, and can integrate it into non-hardcore matches. It just works for me.

because if people didn't cheer for him, he'd kill them with his barbed wire fist.

For all of his doubters, watch his streetfight with Danielson at PWGs Fourth Anniversary show. It is just great. And don't give me that, "It is only okay because Danielson is in it.", I already know that he is one of the greatest wrestlers in the world.

he reminds me of ogre from revenge of the nerds And that's a bad thing? I wasn't too into Necro at first, just seemed like another garbage wrestler to me. But after his match with (I forget the guy's name...maybe Spankypac can remind me?) at TWGP 2006: Night 3, I became a fan. He's no Bret Hart, never will be, but he's got charisma, and he can do good things in the ring even without loads of plunder. He's not my favorite or anything, but I just can't not like the guy.

Yoshiaki Yago, and yes, that match is classic. Honestly, no hardcore stuff, but just a great flat out brawl.

Simply put, on any show he is on, he is without a doubt, the toughest guy there. He just has that "never die, all out, hard as nails" persona 24/7. He could wrestle in ROH, or joe schmo indy, and he will still be The Necro Butcher. I have been on the record several times stating how much I dislike hardcore wrestling. I have seen Necro live at least a dozen times, and have booed the hell out of him every one. But, I still respect what he is. One bad ass mutha.

He's the kind of guy it seems like I'd go "Yeah whatever, there are 100 like you and they're all better" too, but it isn't the case. The guy is a freaking machine. And looking back, I can't recall the last time I saw a Necro match and wasn't entertained. I love his look too. Who the hell cares if he looks like the guy I pass on Richmond Rd. on the way to the store? He could probably kick that guy's ass, then mine too. I'd been begging for his return since War of the Wire II last year, and now it's come to pass. And this time as a regular on the roster. I'm ecstatic. I really started liking him overall after I watched his shoot for CZW they recorded last winter. Such a down to earth guy. Not what I expected from him at all. Glad to have him around, in all honesty. *EDIT* I just rewatched the video wire from ROH. I didn't even catch what Necro said in to the camera the first time. "I TOLD YOU, IF THEY LET ME OUT OF MY CAGE, I'D PILE THE BODIES TO THE SKY". Hell yes.

And having seen him live (twice at JAPW shows) I can say this...going in, I was ready to shit all over him. The he actually hit the ring. It's unreal live.

He's just a hick. He's not built, he's not talented and his matches are trash. Oh, I get it! Opinions now equal fact! So, my opinion is you are wrong.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: if the WWE decided to book people for a short period, territory/early Hogan period-style, to climb the ladder, feud with the champ, put the champ over and then go out of the door, I'd go for Necro as a fantastic insane monster heel opponent for Cena.

To me, he's a lot like the Sandman. He loses most of the time but for him, it doesn't really matter. He's an awesome brawler and can wrestle on occasion. Like the Sandman, both guys look like they just got off the couch and wrestled but they use it to their advantage. And to add in star power, when you see them, without even saying anything, you automatically know what they're about

I saw a match on the Wrestling Channel a while back from the Chikara Tag Team GP, Necro and Pondo against two Chikara trainees... it was one of the most entertaining squashes I've ever seen, and that was mostly down to Necro.

Matt Turner and Anthony Franco? Yeah, those were ROH trainees just for reference, but that is generally regarded as one of the most brutal matches in Chikara history. They later got DQed out of the tourney for brutalizing Men@Work(Mr. Zero and Shane Storm).

I barely remember the match, to be honest, but it has a great reputation.
