It was an awesome match, and really opened my eyes to Necro. Before that, I'd dismissed him as nothing but a deathmatch guy, and I'm not a big fan of that kind of work, but I think he's pretty cool now.

You should see his match teaming with Joker against Sabian and Eddie Kingston from TWGP 06, night 1. Great match with a little bit of everything.

I was agin' it when he was going to come over for 'Gorefest' (name sums it up, I guess), but for IPW:UK or someone he would be awesome. EDIT - wait a second? Is that the match I heard about on wikipedia as Team WWF?

Why is this guy held in such high regard (As far as the indys go) I really have no clue. I've seen clips of him here and there but it was never anything special (Although I haven't seen a lot) I have no idea. He has a terrible look and he's a garbage wrestler. I seriously think some fans are so anti-corporate anti-WWE that they will flock to anything where others like them are "raging against the machine" - including getting wet over a piece of trash like this guy. I don't get it either.

I'm very much pro-corporate WWE, and I like Necro. Explain.

I don't get it either. For the most part you either love or you hate him, but one thing you have to admit/respect is he does bring a buzz to the wrestling world. Sadly, many people can't get past his "look" and the fact that he is primarily a deathmatch wrestler. The reason people like him so much: he's charismatic, can take a ton of punishment, and beats the crap out of people.

Sounds good to me...I don't like him personally, but I try to look past the easy "he's a trash wrestler" idealism...

I hate garbage wrestling like many of you. I managed to get about half way through that YouTube vid posted earlier and had to turn it off. But I have never seen a Necro Butcher match, so I am not going to say that Necro Butcher sucks since I am in no way qualified to pass judgment on a wrestler I have never seen.
On a side note, did he really piledrive a topless woman through a table? What fed does that?? On second thought, I'd rather not know.

He looks like he hasnt seen soap in years. I would steer away from that guy! Id pick a fight with Randy Orton much quicker than i would Necro Butcher. He looks like he just crawled out of a swamp. How is that a bad look? Because he doesnt work out and doesnt have a back tattoo? Dude, Stan Hansen never hit the gym, and he looked like a freakin monster.

I don't get or like Indy wrestling in general, but this is the one guy I simply can't tolerate. He's terrible in every way.

I concur... he looks like he wouldn't even notice if you shot him, and would give you diseases just by approaching you. THAT'S a monster.

If you don't get or like Indy Wrestling, why are you on the (w)rest of wrestling board, 90% of which is about ROH and other indies? Seriously...I'm not trying to say go away, but I'm really curious...are you trying to get or like indy wrestling or are you looking to just start shit?

I've done it plenty both inside and outside of organized fighting. I don't know the guy, but I know me, and I'd be willing to bet I would win. That guy is nothing special.

I'd knock you out if we met, yes I would. I whupped King Kong, I whupped Pak Song, ah even whupped Teddy Long, so I could whup yo nasty ass! Or words to that effect.
