It was a local podcast that only had about 300 viewers. It was around 2002/2003/2004ish and the site was called TNAXTREMEPODCASTS but they shut down doors after Trytan refused to appear on the show. Really? Because podcasts didn't exist or were common in 02-03 if memory serves correctly.... Stop lying

Course, Funaki was around since the Attitude era, and Roode is a new guy. Plus, how is Homicide more believable? Young's been around longer than Cide, and had more of a big connection with the crowd. Funaki shows up on television like....once every 3-4 months. But fine - how 'bout the Highlanders? I doubt that if you sit 100 random wrestling fans down that you'll hear more "Oh yeah, I know that Robert Roode guy" than "Oh yeah, the Scottish guys". It's not a knock on TNA, it's just simply "the WWE is bigger, therefore the lowest guys get good exposure". Which is more believable - a badass 'Gringo killer', or that guy that got the crowd to do a stupid dance and is afraid of his own shadow? I'd rather have the guy who people just WANTED to see kick someone's ass, than the guy who's major pay-off in a feud was tarring and feathering. While Young gets the crowd behind him and has been there longer, I just don't see how he'd fit anywhere near a main-event. He comes off as a cheap mid-card comedy act to me. It'd be like putting Doink in the main-event. Everyone loves him, but no. Fans would know the Highlanders more? PEOPLE HERE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THE DAMN HIGHLANDERS ARE! Maybe if you said Santino, I'd get you, but come on! On the Young/Cide thing, I think it's a matter of personal taste. I don't think there's gonna be a "right choice" decided cause both guys have good reason for possibly being there.

GOD DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!! The podcast was xtreme!!!!!!! It was XTREME I tells you. For the love of GOD stop that podcast from being Xtreme! And LOL at the 300 listeners. My home could fill a larger audience.

Isn't there something ironic about a bunch of guys who got fired talking about how the WWE sucks and the guys are miserable? What's Angle stand up and say that they are bad company for firing him because he was a drug addict? Actually, Tomko quit because he thought WWE wasn't using him well and switched his team of Goldust to Snitsky, and then he went to Japan. And improved a hell of a lot. Personally, I'd put more credence in Tomko's bitching than Angle's.

Booker T dosn't do drugs. I have seen him at local charitys and he speaks out against drugs. I saw him with the Iron Sheik at a church youth group one time saying that drugs ruined alot of their friends lives but they stayed on top longer by keeping away. WWE had something against Booker T and that was the fact that he was friends with The Sandman. Sandman use to flirt with Stephanie Mcmahon backstage and it lead to him being fired and Booker T tried to stick up for him.

But Santino was my 2nd choice....*fixes tie* Eh, there's also the thing about Joe just trying to book his best-friend ('Cide) in the main-event with him, so who knows?

Is everyone allowed to give a speech? Also, why do I see everyone else talking and Tomko adding one-liners? Kurt: WWE is full of politics. You don't make it anywhere without politics, right Tomko? Tomko: No. Earl: They'll throw you out at a moment's notice. You think it matters how much effort you give them. Just ask Tomko? Tomko: No. Booker: Those suckas always out to get ya. Tomko: That's racist. Booker: What? Tomko: The way he wrote you talking. Ebonics and such. Kind of racist. ... Oh daggone it! Tomko shot on me in my own post! I blame Russo! One week from nowmysterydriver and Tomko shoot a work?Oooo, Alvarez is gonna be all over this one! Just wanted to get that one in before thread dodo's out.

I do not see why you do not believe me about the podcasts. Maybe use a internet archive and try to google the site back up? I know I have the interview saved on my computer but I also have everything thats ever happened on my computer, every interview, every podcast, every wrestling show ever. I am thinking about selling my computer to a rich wrestling fan and making alot of money but you know.. im already rich.

You know TNARick is right Hey bro I want to say thanks. I get alot of crap on boards for being "in" with the business and its nice to not be ragged on all the time. I just like to inform the fans and be a internet reporter alternative to Dave Meltzers bs he makes up.

I am going to keep posting here though to make sure any new registered members are well informed about WCW 2000, Vince Russo, and my creative booking fantasy threads. Is there a buddy system on this board? Because I want to accept you as my friend.

I have read every wrestling book that ever existed and every news letter that was ever printed and every magazine article and every post that was ever made on any wrestling board ever and I have discovered that internet wrestling fans talk bad about 2000 and Russo because Russo played such a great character to hate, and the fact that he kicked off the old guys and pushed young stars for higher ratings that internet wrestling fans grew up on. ever.

They have a hall of fame for memorable posters on here, all you have to do is send your best post and an explanation why you should be in the hall of fame to all the mods, and then click Profile----Edit Profile----then click the delete account profile..... Then you are in.
