assasians creed
I was a pretty big fan of Ass-Asians Creed myself.
...sorry, I had to point it out, I couldn't resist.
Anyway, I've barely played any of these...but of what i have played I vote Rock Band.

Galaxy might be the best Mario game I've ever played.

Mario Galaxy is one of the best games ever made, Uncharted;Drake's Fortune is top notch, as is Call of Duty 4 and Persona 3, Metroid Prime 3 as well.
Actually there were tons of great games this year.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune baby! Proof that the PS3 isn't a waste of a system and that Naughty Dog can do serious games.

Mass BAH GAWD Effect, in my opinion the greatest game made in the past four years.
BioShock and Halo 3 were both very good as well, although I don't see myself playing through either of them several times (well, maybe Halo in co-op mode). I haven't played Mario Galaxy yet, but since platformers aren't exactly my thing I'm not sure if I'd like it.

Mass BAH GAWD Effect, in my opinion the greatest game made in the past four years. if they release a patch to fix the glitches i'd agree Somehow I managed not to run into any major ones (I got maybe two minor ones) during my 40-hour playthrough of the game and the 15-20 hours with another character. What sorts of glitches are there? Anything as "great" as the double/triple/quadruple Wookiees in the Xbox version of the first KOTOR?

i've seen
- terrible framerate - slowdown (one got really bad it was like playing it on a crap PC & had to be turned off) - Enemy bullets/rockets go through scenery and hit you

I think halo 3 is one of the most overated games in history. I also was a bit dissapointed in bioshock because I thought it was too short yet it was godlike but cod 4 is the best game and I will play it well into next year I also really liked god of war 2 and super mario galaxy

I have heard reports from people who have had technical problems with Mass Effect, but for me everything works for the most part. Except for the texture streaming on occasion, which they really ought to fix. And... maybe I was just lucky with the enemy bullets. With rockets, though, I'd imagine that shrapnel and other crap might hit you if you're behind an object and someone decides to blast it.

I agree I'm sick of the ass kissing it's getting More people hate Halo than Love It. Or atleast It seems like It. I mean critic wise (Mags/net) It's unbelievable, they are saying one of the best games ever. Goldeneye is more innovative than Halo series, and that came out 5 years earlier
