Thank you. And who can't have good gimmick matches?

I liked him before they made him go back to doing all the retarded DX reunion crap. I'm sorry but one guy who's married to the boss' daughter and the other who's a noticably balding born again christian hardly screams rebellious anymore. I agree. I didn't particularly care for that second DX run, either. Those "cock" jokes were really unfunny to me.

Great wrestler. Do his matches intrigue me enough to buy a PPV? Usually not.

Triple H always delivers in the ring, say what you will about his character or whatever but he almost never has a bad match. He rarely has great ones either though IMO, especially when compared to his DX stablemate Shawn Michaels who always puts on incredible matches.

Never been a huge fan to be Honest,
There are times where i do find him entertaining, I prefer him as a face as his Heel promos bore the piss out of me, ( I a havea beatena them alla, Iama thata damna gooda)
I feel is a little overrated in the ring too, Not saying he sucks but i don't think he is as amazing as otheres suggest.
Backstage Politics don't bother me.

My three favorite wrestlers are Rob Van Dam, Chris Jericho, and Booker T. What do you think?

I seem to remember 2 World Title reigns before the storyline with Stephanie, which led to them dating and ultimately marrying, began. He is one of the four biggest stars of the most profitable era in WWE's history. Had one of the best in-ring years of anyone in history in 2000. Triple H got to the top because he is one of the best performers in wrestling history. Has he stayed at the top thanks in large part to his marriage, probably, but he was already there long before he gave Stephanie his last name.

He bores me. Has nothing to do with him being married to Stephanie, or "backstage politics," which I never really care for, but he just bores me, especially as a face. I think he's okay as a heel, but his DX antics with HBK last summer was enough to piss me off forever... but maybe because I'm not a teenage boy.

Yes, but without Nash, Hall, and especially Michaels to piggyback off of, I doubt he'd have even still been employed in 2000.

I don't particularly love or hate him one way or the other. I think he's a good worker and has good delivery and timing on the mic. On the other hand, his promos are usually way too long and rambling for my taste, especially the serious ones. The backstage stuff isn't really a big deal to me. I guess if I had to choose one of the two poll options, it would be "yes", but he's not one of my favorites.

If he'd have sucked it wouldn't have mattered who's bags he carried.

I like him as a face when he's not doing DX reunion-style humor. The DX Reunion was terrible IMO. As much as people talk about things making them change the channel, the only things that have done that for me in recent years are DX skits and the "Dr. Heinie" skit. I've been happy to sit through everything else, the good and the bad.

Hes a "good" wrestler. I wouldnt categorize him as "great" in either in ring work or through an entertainment factor through promos. As I found him very bland over the years. Hes had his moments. But politics appear in all forms of life. Had Trips not been married into the family, I believe there would have been a couple of times where creative has nothing for him. He was on his way to be a great great wrestler in 00 or 01 before the injuries (his best body of work IMO) Since then, I havent cared much for trips from a character standpoint or in the ring. I think he was definitely world champ material though not MULTIPLE WORLD TIME CHAMP, and IMO has benefitted from the watered down green roster over the years of young guys just breaking into the business. This guy has been operating on 1 or no legs for the last 6 or 7 years. They keep going back to trips because they know they can rely on him. He wouldnt be as big IMO if most of the attitude era guys were still around or had he had to contend with a stacked roster in the 80s. Trips would be secondary to the likes of hogan, rock, austin, macho, jake, warrior, piper etc. Hes a good wrestler but I havent been very impressed since the early 00s with trips. Just my honest opinion. Hes not on the level of the untouchables, though they have tried to push him as such consistently over the years as "the best in the business"
