Nothing about Triple H screams 'special' to me. I can't think of a single moment or characteristic that defines his career as a wrestler. He's just...blah.

Not really, I dont hate him or even really dislike him; I just dont care about him. I cant really name a lot of bad hhh matches but i also cant name a lot of matches he has done that I find truly excellent. I think he is a good wrestler and he certainly deserves to be in the main even in some capacity, I just dont really care about him. i know that he wil be in the main event until he can no longer wrestle, and even then I can still see him as a heel gm character. Of course at this point I watch wwe so sporadically that it doesnt really matter anymore, but 4 years from now ill turn on raw and I will see hhh, probably as the 14 time world championand even then I still wont care about him.

Agreed... that being said, im shocked at the lack of hate 4 him in the poll considering all ive read abouty him in this very forum.... I've just never been sold on him, at all. He's not up there with guys like Hogan, Austin, Rock, Flair, Taker, Bret and HBK I beg to differ... I tend to root for the heels, that being said, Trips was my go to guy to mark for in the Attitude Era(San stone cold of course)

It's because he's really not special...he can't carry a company, he's not that kinda guy. Now he's worked some people into thinking he is but he's really not. He's basically old reliable that's the position he's in now. I'm not really sure he deserves that spot as much as he gets injured but that is the position he gets booked in.

This is so far off base its not even in the ballpark. It doesn't even warrant a response.

He's basically old reliable that's the position he's in now. I'm not really sure he deserves that spot as much as he gets injured but that is the position he gets booked in. Old reliable is sometimes a lot better than "flavor of the month". I agree to an extent that he's not "that kind of guy" relative to carrying a company. He's also never had to or really been put in that position before, even when he had his run etc. with Evolution and all of that, he wasnt a Rock/SCSA type of persona. The fact is, politics and BS that none of us have been privy to personally aside, he is old reliable along with Taker. He's reliable to put on a strong match virtually anytime he's out there and aside from being occasionally long winded, has the moxie to cut a pretty damn good promo and entertain. He's also pretty damn good at getting other guys over. Sure, he tows the company line to a tee, but he's basically a McMahon now, but he does have the talent to do a lot of things other guys can't. He's not an all time great at anything, but he's solid in virtually every area. "As much as he gets injured"? WTF are you on about? He's had two major injuries in his career. It happens and its kept him on the shelf for longer periods of time. He's hardly Ashley in this regard. Frankly, the two times he's gone out, I couldn't wait for him to come back. I don't see why people get so worked up for the chance of him winning the strap again. IMO he's earned it. I enjoy HHH as a champ far far more than Borton or Supercena.

Sometimes. Needs more logical wins. Good on the mic when he's not making fart jokes (same goes for Cena).

I'm not really sure he deserves that spot as much as he gets injured but that is the position he gets booked in. LOL. 3 injuries in 13 years is a lot, huh? Man, IWC logic...

Find him really boring, hasn't really done any matches that exicte me (Other than him VS. Mankind HiC).

Nope. He's a good wrestler, but his overexposure has killed any interest I have in his matches. That and the fact that WWE treats him like the best wrestler of all time, when in fact he's nowhere close.

He never has been the flag bearer for the company and never will be, even though WWE has often tried to present him as such. I DO think he deserves a high spot on the card, but the way WWE treats him (and Shawn Michaels) like gods is pretty messed up. It ruins any enjoyment I might get out of his matches.

Yep. Been one of my favorites since he returned in 02. Even when I became a "smark" in 03.
I hated him in 2000 though. I was a "mark" I guess. I use to have this giant white Power Ranger and I wrote "HHH" on it and me and my friends would beat it up. I guess I thought writing something on a object made it whatever I wrote...

The "IWC" only exists in the minds of those who have nothing better going on in their lives.

The "IWC" only exists in the minds of those who have nothing better going on in their lives. I think I lost 5 IQ reading that post. IWC stands for Internet Wrestling Community. i.e. a group of people who discuss wrestling on the Internet. I have no idea what you think it means, but it's not some grand conspiracy theory that may or may not be real. It's a simple term for wrestling boards and chats on the net. And yes, people on it are allowed to note and critize opinions of the majority within it without being hypocrites, just like people can critize their country's government without being hypocrites. The whole "l0l u can't bitch about smarks, you are 1" thing has always been nothing but a last ditch effort to defend popular myths (i.e. "Trips got to the top by marrying Stephanie. Even though he had multiple world titles under his belt before they probably even kissed.").

Take consolation in one thing........you completely proved my point.

You insulted me by saying that you lost 5 IQ points after reading my post then turn around and cry because I said that your IQ is now -5? Don't throw punches if you can't take them in return buddy!
I don't believe in this IWC crap.....never have. If you believe in it, then so be it but don't lump everybody together into one group just because they use the internet for pro wrestling purposes.
