Given the incompedent promotion of the feud, I thought it went well. Big Show came off looking like a Giant Machine, and Mayweather got a plausable win. I mean, anyone should fall to a boxer's knockout punch with brass knuckles, regardless of weight.

"HE CAN'T BE DOIN' THAT!!!"
"HE CAN'T BE STANDIN' ON HIM LIKE THAT!"
"WE OUT, WE DONE!"
That manager needs to be hired and given a stable at once!!
And yes, I thought Mayweather did a really good job in that match. I expected pretty much nothing, and I was surprised.
Not as surprised as I was when Orton got the pin though. I think the smile on my face was about a mile wide after that.

I agree. That match was 10 times more entertaining than it had any right to be. That's exactly what my girlfriend and I were saying. We were expecting a real snooze and instead Big Show brought the entertainment. I'd never seen Big Show do a carry job before, but damned if he didn't. Mayweather didn't suck, but if Big Show hadn't been carrying the weight of it (no pun) the match would have.

Look, we all knew 'Money' was going to win, but I tell you what the WWE did a damn good job in that match. It was a really fun, entertaining spectacle, and did Big show more good than any harm. Mayweather took way more bumps than I was anticipating, and the finish was done brilliantly I felt. Throw all that in with Mayweather's manager's brilliant comments like "do it for your kids baby" and "he can't be doing that." Crowd was into it, and to me it goes down as a success. Good job WWE, Floyd and the Big Show. Considering Mayweather bumped like crazy, acted like a heel, didn't try to take all the heat, promoted the show and wrestling like crazy and caused zero problems backstage I don't understand why people hate the guy. Some guys in the WrestleMania thread basically hinted that they didn't like him because of his skin color, which is scary. I would like to think those people are in the minority but who knows. Those people may be in the minority, but unfortunately it is probably not as small of one as we would like to believe. That was illustrated pretty clearly when a thread about Stuart Scott popped up here recently and some of the posters called him an idiot. I could be wrong, but when someone calls a Black broadcast journalist who has risen to the top of his profession thanks to his charisma and degrees from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill an idiot, it is pretty fair to think the opinion was based mostly on the Black part. As for the match itself, it was very entertaining. Mayweather and Big Show both did their jobs, and I definitely would not mind seeing more of Mayweather in a wrestling ring.

Mayweather/Show. Feb 2008-March 2008. It will not be missed. Good riddance. Yeah....we get it. You didn't like it. No need to repeat that message 50+ times....

Good work by everyone involved. Sure, Mayweather still got the win but I give him a tonne of respect for taking the match seriously. I thought he did a better job of selling than some wrestlers currently on the roster.

I loved it so much, I got pumped when the posse tried to get Mayweather out of there and you could see Big Show n the background exiting the ring to give chase.

There's only ONE Floyd Mayweather! Wrestlecrap boards *simultaneously*: Well, let's KEEP it that way! Don't worry, he will.

They're in the "minority" no pun intended. I dont think Mayweather bumped like crazy. Show was disgustingly soft working the match. The match in of itself was slow and plodding. I really would like to see a wrestler go over a non wrestling while.. you know "wrestling" wouldnt have seen any problem with Show getting back up from the punch, chokeslaming Mayweather and ending it then and there. But as it turns out Shows now stuck as the "largest AThlete in the World" who just got punked out by a guy 1/3 his size. Bears really well for him in the future. Co/sign Big show just got "Bam Bamed"

Mayweather/Show. Feb 2008-March 2008. It will not be missed. Good riddance. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, but why do you seem to have such animosity toward Mayweather? Seriously though, I found your post in the Wrestlemania thread about "we" shouldn't have to bend over and take it from the mainstream in situations like the Mayweather-Show feud to be hilarious.

I think people just dont like loud mouths, regardless of race. Skip Bayless is as white bread as it comes and he has written for many respected newspapers but I think hes an idiot cuz he thinks the NBA regular season is more exciting then March Madnesss...anyway its personal preference. This match lived up to its hype IMO. Savage/Steamboat it wasnt, but really no one was expecting it to be.

Considering I had really low expectations for this match, I loved it. Kudos to Show and Mayweather for putting on a hell of a performance.

I wanna know how the HELL this goes on after the triple threat match.I don't understand how anyone was impressed with Mayeather. He did absolutley nothing that was exciting or admirable and his crew took more punishment than he was willing to.If they really paid him 20million , that was the easiest 20 mill anyone has ever earned and also the biggest waste of 20 million in history.Hopefully Mayweather will never be seen inside a wrestling ring again.

I've heard rumors that Mayweather will continue working for the company. This could be the beginning of a feud. Maybe at Backlash, Big Show will save face and win.

LOL, you got to be f***ing kidding me. I don't like Stuart Scott because he has a fake eye, uses catchphrases from the early 90's, and he just does a subpar job at sports commentating. Some people will do anything to take out the race card, jesus christ.
