I don't think it needs saving. Maybe just have the stories get simpler, and start advertising their stuff more and better. No need to start firing everyone with a WWE/WCW background and turn everything around.

My 10 Ways To Save TNA
1. Fire Vince Russo and Dutch Mantel.
2. Have Jim Cornette, Scott D'Amore, Raven and Lance Storm write, with Jeff Jarrett. And hire someone new. Id go for Joey Ryan because of how well PWG combines comedy and wrestling, without coming off corney. My dream would be for Gabe Sopolsky, because ROH has gotten so stale and I think he needs a change of venue. But this probabley wont happen.
3. Everyone knows that TNA needs to be an alternative. Its a sorry sitcom based on pro wrestling right now. Even a month ago it was different. Naming the episodes? Jokes every 10 minutes? Evil dark villains, porn stars, stupid costume matches, and backstage party skits that are funny ONCE. Give the fans something to CARE about, not some parody of the WWE.
4. Force everyone to watch UWF circa 1985-87, NWA 1986-87, ECW circa 1995-97, WCW 97,WWF 1987-89 and see why these eras are so beloved by fans and take elements from them. Update these elements, and listen to young guys like Alex Shelley and Samoa Joe, about what people want to see TODAY.
5. Hire no more than 10 ex WCW-WWE guys at a time. The perception is there and must be eliminated. WIth this, let VKM, the Dudleyz, James Mitchel, Dustin Rhodes, Rellik and Rick Steiner go out to pasture.
6. Do not have such a strict script. Allow the wrestlers personalities to shine. Let them develop their characters. Do not worry about making new characters, but play off of what makes them successful elsewhere. Let Alex Shelley talk, let Homicide talk, let Samoa Joe be himself.
7. When you tour, dont charge so high for tickets. This is why the shows are empty. 20$ seats. 50$ for front row. Let people see your product live FIRST, than began to charge more.
8. Invest in doing live TV at least 2 weeks out of the month. Have ALL your PPVs outside of Orlando. Maybe do TV tapings in Orlando AND another location? Maybe monthly in Memphis or Nashville.
9. Instead of signing douchebags like Pacman Jones, spend that money on sending out your wrestlers to charity events. Kids with cancer, disabled veterans, whatever to get good press and get your name out there.
10. And FINALLY , this is the MOST important of all. DO NOT COMPETE WITH THE WWE. Forget they exist. Maybe a passing reference, a joke, but FORGET them. You will NEVER be in the same league. Let them do the circus, and you do the carnival. Wrestling can work in the US on TV and not be a joke.

TNA is great the way it is. Don't change a thing. Avoid mistakes like Pacman Jones and Scott Hall.

LOL at anyone who says it doesnt need saving
anyway one thing it needs to do is stop acting like wwe's less popular little brother constantly tugging on its shirt and saying 'hey look at me'

To save TNA:
* TNA needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine. Whenever TNA's not onscreen, all the other promotions should be asking "Where's TNA?"
* Have a "crazy hat" day where all wrestlers, announcers, and audience members wear funny hats.
* More Rain.

1. Fire Vince Russo
2. Push the X-Division wrestlers more. They're supposed to be your signature. USE THEM!!!!
3. The rest of women's division needs to be more than just a divas ripoff. I like where the Latino Nation Member (Aka. Shelly Martinez)/Christy Hemme feud is going...even though they should fire Hemme. But right now Kong vs. Kim is the BEST ANGLE TNA HAS RIGHT NOW!!!! That's right, THE WOMEN'S TITLE FEUD IS THE BEST TNA HAS!!!!!!! But Velvet Sky and Angelina Love? NO!
4. END THE STUPID GIMMICKS/GIMMICK MATCHES!!!!!!! e.g. Electrified Steel Cage Turkey Bowl Elevation X Black Reign Rellik *coughRebbojcough* Eric Young (he's a good wrestler, let him be X Champ) Holiday Parties Team 3XL Lockdown Rock and Rave Infection? (what kind of tag team name is that) etc.
Please note that this does NOT include Ultimate X or King of the Mountain
5. FIRE THE WCW/WWE DEADWEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6. NO PACMAN JONES!!!!!!!!!!!
7. And most important of all, the thing they NEED to do........
GIVE SAMOA JOE THE TNA WORLD TITLE!!!!!!!

See the thing about the Ex-WWE/WCW guys is that for right now it'll work and it will draw. But that is right now.
The ex-WWF guys worked for the WCW in 96. But only for so long they could be on the top of the company while the fans still cared. The fans will soon get sick of seeing Angle on top of the company. By the time 2010 comes around will they have built up their young talent enough to have a go to guy once fans get turned off to Angle? Doubt it.
The only thing that can save TNA is the creation of new main event stars to keep fresh.

I don't think it needs saving. I look forward to laughing at TNA much as I laughed at WCW 2001. WCW 2001 was very good actually and they seemed to stop with the crash booking that hindered them in 2000.

Do you realize it's 2008 and Samoa Joe still hasn't one the TNA title? They've jobbed him into oblivion and just like Goldberg, nobody cares. TNA is a second-rate WWE. I couldn't agree more. I also hate that Angle seemingly has a death grip on the title, and is turning into a second rate HHH.

TNA has used up their second chances repeatedly. I used to defend them mercilessly but no longer. They screwed up with Samoa Joe. I can't forgive them. Agreed, I'm having one hell of a time understanding why they dropped the ball with Joe early 2007/late 2006. I mean the guy was insane over, yet they would not put the big strap on him.

Of course TNA has things that really need fixed, but so does the WWE. I hoenstly love TNA for how it is right now. Sure there is a real focus on old WWE guys, but the action is still there, and I'm really liking what they do.

Drop the 6-sided ring Stop taking shots at WWE Stop trying to be WWE Light, while denying wanting to be that. Stop hiring former WWE midcarders or former main eventers from 10 years ago Focus more on home-grown talent and basic wrestling No more gimmick matches for a while Tone down the flippity-floppity moves Straightforward Face/Heel dynamics, it's not 1999 anymore Personality is good, gimmicky personality not so much. It's not 1989 anymore.
Possibly start touring the country Get rid of the annoying self-absorbed live crowd

Stop hiring former WWE midcarders or former main eventers from 10 years ago If WWE drops the ball on Christian, Tomko and Matt Morgan and TNA recognizes their talent then good for TNA. And TNA would have to be insane to not hire Booker, Angle and Sting when they found themselves free agents.

Wouldn't it be frustrating to work for a company that drives you crazy?
If their product disgusts and appalls you, spending your life surrounded by it would not be fun.
For me it would be cool, since I like the company, but I think even I need to be able to change the channel when VKM, Black Reign or the Dudleys walk out.
