Vanilla Ice vs. Wolverine? For some reason that made me think of the Punisher/Archie crossover that came out in the 90s. These writers must have taken some interesting "herbs" to come up with some of the ideas they did. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

My favorite was when Spawn got huge, and EVERYTHING needed more blood and spikes. A philosophy Todd McFarlane subscribes to this very day.

Todd McFarlane must be the most overrated comic creator in history. For all Liefield's faults, at least he was part of the team responsible for Deadpool.

I hate Spawn with a passion, I've never understood the love for him.

Anyone remember McFarlane's run on Spiderman? The one with the Lizard?
DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM - Pic of Spiderman in a weird pose - DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM - MJ Drawn really weird - DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM - standard Lizard with mouth open and drooling pic - DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM - another weird Spiderman pose that makes him look like he's try to kiss his own ass - DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM - to be continued next issue!
Yet this helped make him into a multi-millionaire. Go figure.

That looks like a giant angry molar on Comboman's suit. And glad to see he can spin webs, has a symbiote, and can fly three different ways. No overkill there, no sir.

Oh, spawn...yer like Venom, Ghost Rider & Batman all rolled into one. Wasn't there even a Spawn/Batman crossover at some point?

Oh, spawn...yer like Venom, Ghost Rider & Batman all rolled into one. Wasn't there even a Spawn/Batman crossover at some point? Yep. The image comics version was drawn by Todd, and written by Frank Miller. I remember it being pretty craptacular. The other one produced by DC had some pretty interesting stuff in it. edit... And now that i think about it, i think the Image one had some kind of continuity about it, because the batarang that was buried in spawn's face at the end may have been the reason he had those shoelace stitches in his face for a while.

The X-Men during the 90s are some of my favorite comics ever. X-Cutioners Song, Fatal Attractions, The Wedding of Cyclops and Jean Grey, Age of Apocalypse, Onslaught, and Operation: Zero Tolerance. I might be the only one, but for me, it doesn't get much cooler than the X-Universe from 1991 to 1998. and I mean anything with an X on it. X-Men, X-Force, X-Factor, Generation X, and Excalibur.

Yeah, X Men was pretty awesome during the 90's. Except for X-Force at certain times. Sucks that most of Generation X is either dead, depowered, or forgotten.

To think the first issue had many different cover versions and sold like people's lives depended on it. I shamefully had two versions of issue one. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)
