Whatever happened to the whole "We've reached our breaking point" thing? I'm sick of the constant whining and complaining.

I also do not care, for the record, what the IWC complains about. They complained about Rock or HHH ten years ago. It means nothing to me. My point is that HHH and Rocks various encounters were kept fresh using many factors, not just what gimmick they used in the match. No one is disagreeing with you. I'm simply pointing out that there was another match made under almost identical circumstances that everyone and their mother said would suck and turned out to be incredible. Thats all. Eh. I wouldn't know. Back in those days I didn't go on wrestling forums. I checked news sites and such but that was about it. I only started coming to forums when all my friends stopped watching because I had no one to talk about wrestling with anymore. I am just tired of people bringing up the Attitude Era and such when people make legit complaints about todays booking or wrestlers. If you do not like Cena someone has to bring up Austin or Rock and try to poke holes in them or how they were booked or whatever. Ten years ago was ten years ago, I was entertained then. Im not now. See what I am saying?

I changed the channel the second Ben announced the Divas bowl thing. If I had seen the announcement for this I would have shot my TV. And I don;t even own a damn gun.

I was actually intrigued by it. Hopefully the result is John Cena moving to SmackDown. Maybe getting him away from RAW can get his character back on track to being more interesting again.

Ironically, that one opening segment was the only thing on the show that involved Orton, Cena, or the interminable RAW main-event angle that's been going since January. Afterwards, things picked up and we got two title changes. TWO title changes? I only recalled the US TITLE switching.

This whole thing is simply proof-positive that Vince has absolutely, positively no Goddamned idea what he's doing anymore. He brings in celebrities thinking they'll pop a rating (they usually don't), they push feuds with Randy Orton despite the fact that they have absolutely obliterated any main-event star power that he had, their comedy is aimed at exactly nobody even though they plug themselves as a family show...and I just plain don't like the John Cena character. I just...I don't... ... I know I'm an imbecile. Yet, WWE makes me feel smart. ...... It almost feels as though that's illegal. Melodramatic much?

As soon as they even so much as mentioned that Cena and Orton would not only be headlining YET ANOTHER pay-per-view, but it would be guaranteed to last for sixty damn minutes? ...NO. OK? NO.. I'm sorry, but I refuse to tolerate that. NO.Yes. Yes please. I think Cena and Orton have tremendous chemistry, and I love watching them work together. I think their feud is great stuff and I look forward to the ironman. I think it will be great.

The feud is boring, the wrestlers are boring and we get the thrill of watching them wrestle one on one for the 4th PPV in a row. Oh Joy.

According to The Rock's book the original plan in 1999 was to Have The Rock face Austin on 4 consecutive PPV's from Wrestlemania to about the King of The Ring. However they realised it would get boring and so didn't do it. So if even Austin and The Rock couldn't sustain an interesting feud for 4 straight PPV's Orton and Cena have absolutely no chance. This is getting almost as bad as the Triple H Orton feud.

I actually thought it was a good idea. I can remember the last time two guys who many had thought had headlined far too many pay per views against each other, and had too limited of a moveset to pull of an ironman match were booked in one at a pay per view. It was Judgment Day 2000, and the match is still talked about to this day. Just sayin... True, but that may be partly because a certain superstar returned, back when his returns were still in single figures.

If you liked the Triple H Orton feud which was almost universally hated by everyone on here then there is no point arguing with you as our opinions seem so different no good can from this debate. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and the fact that yours seem to be the exact opostie of mine means that we are never going to agree. I do like your sig though so theres a starting point.

Mine just happen to be the opposite of most people in here. No biggie.

I didn't watch RAW last night but I facepalmed when I logged on to WWE's website this morning.
I thought with it being a RAW vs. Smackdown! PPV id be safe from seeing this match again at least for a while. But oh boy I wasn't expecting that.
"The fans are growing tired of this feud Vince, how about we put Orton in there with a fresh oppenent, like MVP, Kofi or Mark Henry. He pinned Orton you know!"
"Hmm maybe"
"Or maybe since its a RAW vs Smackdown PPV, how about Orton vs the World Champion The Undertaker!"
"Hmm not sure"
"OK so maybe Taker is looking a bit worse for wear, how about we put the ECW Champion Christian in there too, the fans love Christian! And plus this could help Christian towards being a future main eventer on RAW or Smackdown!"
"Hmmm......I GOT IT!"
"What is it Mr McMahon?"
"A Orton Cena Match!"
"AGAIN?!"
"Yes and this time, it will go 60 minutes! and the fans will love it"
* facepalm *
* Vince silently thinks how he can put HHH into the match *

I didn't change the channel at that point, though I decided not to make any effort to watch the next PPV. I did change it at some point early in the second hour, because I was finding RAW painful to watch.

That announcement was more painful than being a Packer's fan last night.
