yeah cuz Chris harris,Aj styles, low ki(1st run),frankie kazarian,Colt Cabana, kid cash, and numerous others are all doing so well in wwe right now ...and with the exception of AJ you could argue that TNA squandered all those guys talents as well. EVERY company misuses some talent at times. But sometimes, sometimes things work out. I am hoping this is one of those times because Dragon deserves it and wrestling fans deserve Dragon. It was more of me giving an example, TNA is idiotic with there booking of aquired talents, but i ask you this, why is it whe a wwe star goes to tna they acknowledge his great achivement and showcase him in that way, and in almost every single instance if a tna wrestler goes to wwe there a young blue chipper, with little or no fanfare ? Because TNA is below WWE and it wouldn't help a guy on WWE TV to say he's a former TNA champion?

Because TNA is below WWE and it wouldn't help a guy on WWE TV to say he's a former TNA champion? Well....TNA kind of IS below WWE. Most of the audience wouldn't know what the hell they were talking about if they went on about "He's a former world champion in another promotion!" "Yeah ok, but what has he done here?"

"Yeah ok, but what has he done here?" This is pretty true. WWE has no true competitor to bother acknowledging where so and so has been. TNA is not WCW. There is no ratings competition. Why mention another company when there isnt really any reason to brag.

Get off your high horse From now on, everyone needs to stick to discussing the subject at hand, and not go after other posters for what they say. Warnings will be issued if talk like this keeps up.

Back in the day if a guy came from a lot of success on the indies or in ECW, WWF would acknowledge it openly and use that as a way to springboard the guy into credibility with the fans.
Nowadays WWE pretends like nothing exists outside of their WWE universe. Would it certainly help WWE to acknowledge Danielsons past work? Yes. They never used to pretend like WCW, ECW, or the indies didnt exist. You know who tended to do that though? WCW. You know, the fed that gets a lot of crap for rarely pushing young stars above a certain level and having tunnel vision when it came to pushing people beyond the same old same old. Sound familiar?

This is becoming absolutely nothing to do with either McGuinness or Danielson, so I'll just say that I couldn't disagree with you less.
The WWF downplayed or ignored other feds when they wanted to, just as WWE has mentioned or promoted talk of other feds when they wanted to as well. Hell, WCW just had a big DVD set come out with a promotional push.

I would like to just say I think a discussion on how the WWE should handle a new wrestler and giving examples of how the WWE have handled people in the past has a lot to do with the topic of a wrestler coming to the E.
