Hush. I hate Hush. The story that introduced him (Batman: Hush) had such an obvious outcome that reading it felt like an enormous waste of time. Not to mention that his motivation has to be the weakest I've ever seen (wah wah I don't like rules wah wah I'm jealous of my miserable orphan friend wah wah).
I wish he gets retconed.

How did you see that twist coming? No one could have figured out that the villian was the random muscular childhood friend that was introduced prominently in that issue. I thought it was a badger.

He is the guy to go to for DNA manipulation and the guy for Celestial Information. Problem is no one wants to do anything with him or Counter Earth for some reason. Same thing with Kang *Except it looks like something may happen with him in Guardians of the Galaxy*. One for me that I'm sick of seeing, Red Skull. Give Cap someone else to go against please. If Skull had died back during Acts of Vengeance when Magneto buried him I would have been happy. I thought Arnim Zolo and Sinister were the go to's for Gene stuff? As for Skull I always wanted Crossbones to kill him and take his place Nope, High Evolutionary has been around since the Celestial basically due to time screwery. He all so knows about Genomes from all over the Universe. Plus he made Adam Warlock, much more impressive than anything Zola or Sinister have done. Plus he's not really a villian anymore either. Though Sinister and Zola are no slouches either. All ways wanted Zola to take over personally.

Seriously the shifty eyes on that Badger made think there was no way it wasn't him Yeah, the fact that a friend that Bruce was SUPER close with that we had no idea existed was around at the time made it damn obvious. Plus Hush just sucks anyway so I wouldn't mind him going away either. All so time ofr controversial one, Joker can go f*** off. I've never really been to big a fan of him in the first place. All ways found Bane, Two-Face, and Ras as better foils for Batman.

This, this, this. It was such a copout to have Jason Todd revealed as Hush (which was actually shocking), only to turn out that it was Clayface and not Jason. Then Tommy "So Obvious That It Just Can't Be Him" Elliot ends up being Hush. Then, just to make matters even more stupid, DC later goes ahead and brings back Jason Todd anyway. Why couldn't he have just been Hush in the first place? Just really pathetic writing by Jeph Loeb, and also really poor judgment shown by DC's editorial staff.

The High Evolutionary for me. I never saw what the big deal about him was. He never got an action figure either. Toad and Black Tom Cassidy got an action figure!!!!!! Hush was supposed to continue with Loeb/Lee, and basically the 12 issues we got were 'part 1' of the story, with the rest coming some 6 months or a year later. But then other things came up, and whenever finished and then the Hush character as we know it came to be. And in all fairness, in Gotham Knights he did get developed pretty well and easily surpassed the Loeb/Lee stuff.

Besides Crossbones what other enemies does Cap have? Poor Cap'n A's rogues gallery has always been incredibly weak IMO.

she's not even a villain anymore as far as I know.
it's true about Cap not having much of a rogues gallery though. Zemo isn't really a bad guy anymore, so that leaves Skull, Faustus, Zola and uh.... Batroc the Leaper.

What drives me crazy about Hush (despite him not being Jason Todd ruining both him and the real Jason Todd after they decided to bring him back for real) is how poor his motivation is. Thomas Wayne saved his mother's life, so Bruce Wayne must die?
Ugh. At least Bane wanted to break Batman out of a sense of gamesmanship. Hush just sucks, though I do respect Paul Dini trying to make something out the mess in the current books.

For me it's X-Men's big baddie Vulcan. He died at the end of the recent limited series War of Kings in a fight with Black Bolt(B.B. died too as well). I really hope Vulcan doesn't come back. He worries me.
