Very nice win over CSKA Moscow there.
We played some good stuff and slowly but surely Valencia is beginning to settle into the side. 3 wins from 3.
Perfecto.

Big 4-0 win for Chelsea, and AC Milan win the battle of the poor keepers vs. Real Madrid 3-2.

The Real Madrid vs Milan game was crazy, they sure didn't look like Europe's elite, the keepers made some massive errors.
Milan had a perfectly good goal disallowed too.

Yep, gotta agree, pretty much the perfect performance in probably our toughest away game. Sure it wasn't the best game to watch but I'll take a 1-0 win any day in Moscow. Can't wait til Sunday now. I'm thinking draw though

I'm thinking draw though I would love a win but I would take a draw quite happily. I hate Utd Liverpool games. It is torture to watch, the feeling when you win is so much better than beating anybody else but when you lose it is so much worse. We got beat 4 - 1 last year on my Birthday. What a happy day that was...

Watched the Elliott incident again. Still don't know.
From the front it looks accidental, from behind it looks more like it might be deliberate. In full speed it looks accidental, slow motion possibly delbierate, slower still accidental. If you watch Elliott's face you can't tell what he's looking at-Chimbonda or the ball.
I had been convinced he's innocent. Now, I'm not so certain but I think there's still a lot of doubt, and that it still appears more likely accidental than deliberate.

From the front I thought it was just him trying to stand up, but I must admit that from behind and slowed down a bit it looks pretty deliberate. Does look like he's keeping his eye on the ball rather than Chimbondas head though, at least to me.

Everton tanked 5-0 at Benfica. Not a good week for the city of Liverpool.

Not a good week for the city of Liverpool. or spain (barca and real madrid) or glasgow (rangers and celtic losing ATM) oh there was a shocking ref desision earlier in the lazio game, where he sent off a lazio player for diving, where tv replay shows he was CLEARLY pulled down in the box and chelsea's essian's (was it essian?) tackle was horrific!!! two-footed and studs showing ..... just amazing that he didn't break the players leg with this despickable attack!!!!

* Sigh *
And Scottish footballs plummeting reputation takes a further hit, not as bad as the Gers one obviously but still..........National & Club level its amazing how much we suck compared to even a couple of years ago when Celtic reached knockout stage of champ league, Gers reached UEFA cup final & National team was ranked 14th best in world

The Premier League will continue to be sponsored by Barclays, who will be the sponsors now until the 2012/2013 season.

If Liverpool don't make the top 4 I could see this happening. What's more, I think he'd be a better player for it.
