..and by "ugh", I don't mean difficult. I mean "God damn it, I just don't want to do this.".
My example: At the moment, I'm playing Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2. Out of the 40 playable characters, I have 38 of them unlocked (And there are maybe 10 characters available from the start). Of course, I want to unlock those last two, both for the achievement and for the personal glory or sense of satisfaction or whatever.
The problem? Those last two characters are from Gundam SEED. And the method to unlock them involves playing as the three starting characters from Gundam SEED.
And I just HATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATE HATE Gundam SEED. Every character in that series is a whiny, annoying hypocrite who won't stop bitching about "fighting is wrong" while nonchalantly slaughtering thousands with overpowered Gundams. Sure, that message is pretty common in Gundam, but the SEED characters take it to a whole new level of fail.
I really, REALLY don't want to do this, especially since it's to unlock two more characters I hate. But, I'm still gonna do it because damn it, I'm getting 100% on this game!
So, your turn, 'Crappers: what moments in video games make you think "Man, I don't want to do this crap."?

My biggest UGH moment was getting all the freaking legendary weapons in FF10.
Mainly because I HATE BLITZBALL.

One thing that comes to mind from a recent new run through the game is the purple coin missions of Super Mario Galaxy. Almost all of those fall somewhere between "boring as all hell" and " Luigi's Purple Coins".

I spent a solid hour on Luigi's Purple Coins.
A solid hour of screaming.

Fighting Lu Bu in any Dynasty Warriors story mode. Guy is a beast
Edit: To be precise, I was playing Musou mode as Guan Yu on the battle of Hu Lao Gate in Dynasty Warriors 6. Tank would know the level. When you break open a gate, Lu Bu spawns who is invincible if you are early on in the game. Well I bail out and enter the base over the wall. Now Lu Bu is out there destroying everyone so I figure I can kill Dong Zhou without having to bother with Lu Bu.
Now I've almost beaten him when suddenly Lu Bu comes out of nowhere and kills me in seconds.

Spoony had a great rant on sewer levels (his review of Dirty Harry for the NES). I hated the underwater portion of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Also, Rainbow Road on the original Mario Kart.

Chrono Trigger DS Lost Sanctum. Dumb fetch quests and that FREAKING MOUNTAIN. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!</avgn> I did that the first time through to get equipment and money and then never even considered touching it again. Dear lord. To summarize the Lost Sanctum for those who haven't played through it. Go to an area in 65,000,000 BC and kill monsters. Go to the same area in 600 AD, go fetch an item. Take it to someone in 65,000,000 BC, and they'll send you up a mountain. You'll discover you can't get up the mountain, so walk back to the village. Then walk back up the mountain and see you still can't, so go to 600 and... Gah. Horrible, other than the two or three legitimate bosses they snuck in there. Oh, and the fusing of the legendary rock with itself from the future should have summoned the Time Devourer on the spot.

Well, this may not count, but when Otacon reveals out of the blue that he had an affair with his stepmother in Metal Gear Solid 2, it made me back up several feet. And I was sitting down at the time!
