Hogan says TNA lack super heavyweights. He was on the Bubba's radio talking about this. He said he beleives they need more bigs who can work. He mentioned guys who have size and can move to. He thinks they could use more guys like Vader, Hansen, Gordy, Bundy, Bam Bam, Brody, and Hercules.
I don't know many young bigs in American. I wonder can you guys come with any that fit this profile. I believe Bison Smith, Claudio(not your typical big) Hero(naturally), maybe Brodie Lee.

In my eyes Hogan has already overstayed his welcome. The rest of the roster get a "my way or the highway" speech and Hogan is going around saying he's in charge. That's going to be good for morale!

Don't know about young ones. I suppose there's Iceberg, Joe Applebaumer (Pogo the Clown), Viscera, Rikishi, Adbullah the Butcher, Balls Mahoney...
Don't forget that Rikishi is on Hogan's tour... :\

Nay he's a big fan of Morgan, SuperMex, and Joe he says. He want more young guys like them in TNA. Not the old guys we think of. Hogan knows old guys won't that company grow. I do believe TNA get too small wrestlers at times. I love watching the guys AJ and Daniels size but it make show look fake. When guys that size control the entire product. If Hulk can get Umaga to sign that would be a huge plus for TNA he fits that profile.

Umaga has already been in TNA, and he did stuff-all.

Umaga wasn't that good doing that time. I think TNA should go after Giant Bernard, Bison Smith, Umaga, Hero, Brodie Lee, Claudio, and some European big man. TNA guys do appear smal when you really look at it.

If this Means Bob Sapp will wrestle in America that can be a good thing.

Could always try to bring Nathan Jones back and team him with Morgan again. Could always try bringing in Heideneich or Snitksy too-under different names of course. But would definitely be better to get guys who have not already had WWE exposure.
I can see where this would automatically generate heat on Hogan. TNA's greatest home grown stars have been guys like AJ and Christopher Daniels, who while they may fit the cruiserweight mold, they are still phenomenal performers. The assumption would immediately be that Hogan is going to bring in slow, over-muscled hosses and push the over TNA's homegrown talent. But I say lets wait and see.
On that note, we could always see TNA bring back some home grown super heavyweights who had relatively short runs like Monty Brown, Rellik, and I seem to recall some guy named Trident.

Height wise he's pretty big not so much in weight. I mean he wouldn't look like a midget standing next to Sting or Desmond. So yeah he would fit the bill like Edge would. I mean Chrisitan seemed like a giant next to alot of TNA guys. I mean look how big Jarrett looks next Daniels, Red, Lethal, the MCMG's, or AJ.

Before he was Gene Snitsky he was "Mean Gene" Mondo. So put him in a tux, make him an interviewer and whenever he asks a question people always start their answer with, "Well, let me tell you somethin', Mean Gene!"

There seems to be a bit of a negative stance on this.
Hogan didn't say, bring in big guys. He said bring in talented superheavyweights. I mean, if the guys he mentioned were in their prime and coming into TNA, how would people not want them. Just because they're big, doesn't mean they suck. The names Hogan mentioned were great workers.
Bison Smith, Rick Fuller I heard was good, Umaga, and I don't have any others in mind, but he wants something different in TNA. He doesn't just want one type of guy, who wants all sorts of different types.
Guys like Nathan Jones, Snitsky, and even Heidenreich and others, they're not that good. But, that doesn't mean that superheavyweight wrestlers are all slow paced, lumbering wrestlers.
Maybe TNA could reach out to NOAH and bring in Morishima for a run there.

Trytan was the guy's name, and he's much better then he used to be. He was signed with WWE as Jacob Duncun, the man from the woods, and he's pretty good. His gimmick is similar to that of Abyss', so he'd have to lose the mask.

It'd work great right now with Sheamus destorying Jamie.

Rick Fuller, unless there is another, was a WCW jobber mainstay that was horrid. Smith would be interesting but, I don't know if he would give up his Japanese commitments. Umaga would be a iffy, IMO. He's great in the ring but, he and Joe draw so many comparisons (unfairly really) that it might more of a disservice to bring him in.

Hogan wants a great super heavyweight? He should check out Jason Bane. He's a combination of Vader and Bam Bam Bigelow. www.dailymotion.com/video/xaopc5_dave-logan-vs-jason-bane-hybrid-pan_sportHe worked a few shows for IWC last year. The Sandman was champ at the time, so the crowd was filled with old school ECW fans. The crowd largely "poo pooed" everyone they didn't know, except for Bane. "Who is this guy," one fan sitting beside me asked his friend. "He's f***ing scary, dude. Did you see how fast that guy can run?" Another good one is Ray Rowe. He reminds me of Taz, only with more tattoos and slightly better mic skills.

He does actually have a good point. Morgan, Abyss, and Hernandez are about the extent of their big guys, except if Tomko is the attacker.
A hoss, for lack of a better word, is not automatically bad. Wrestling is at its finest when you have a variety, and a few more big men in TNA wouldn't be a bad thing.
