YES. Then after watching a very dissapointing Raw it looked even better. I guess I actually expected the WWE to try, if only for one night. Yes at times TNA looked liked they tried to hard but thats much better than not trying at all like Raw imo. The Angle/AJ match was best match I have seen in a long time on free tv and PPV.

I didn't like the Hall/Nash/Xpac trio. Their best days happened 15 years ago. I don't see the point of bringing in Val Venis. He was never good. Too much time wasted on the Nastys/Foley/etc and not enough on the young talent.
On the other side, the Styles/Angle match was great; the Nigel/Pope match was good if on the short side. And I like the Hardy/lackey Moore combination.
Too many old guys to label it a successful show, so I'd call it a moderate success.

Hall/X-Pac/Nash looked horrible. How can you see those three and not wonder why they are still employed is beyond me.
Stil, on the whole imo Impact was better than Raw, as far as match quality is concerned. But that's just imo.

It was a good start, but let's wait and see if the potential is fully realized. I've been burned by TNA before, although I'm willing to give them a shot as long as they use the veterans to ultimately give the rub to guys like AJ and Matt Morgan.
I think Dixie realizes they'll need to do this to create their own superstars and survive.

The show had it's problems there is no denying that.
As a TNA fan I admit I had a lot of problems with the show, but overall I think TNA was successful in what they set out to do with it.
So I say it was a success and I hope TNA learns from this so they can do better the next time they try a live show.
