Note: This isn't who I want to see go. This is who I'm expecting. From the top:
Rhino Homicide Brutus Magnus Kyoshi Raven Shark Boy Hamada Taylor Wilde Okada (He even appeared on Impact yet?) ODB Dr. Stevie Amazing Red Jaime Tucker (ref) Mike Posey (ref) Ed Ferrara So Cal Val
One wrong move and they're gone:
Scott Hall Jeff Hardy Ken Anderson RVD (Yes, he's the champ. Doesn't matter.)

They need too.... seriously they've got 2 hours TV time a week compared to the 6 hours WWE has and I think TNA has a bigger roster, or else damn close.

Shannon Moore just locked his door, turned off the lights, and unplugged the phone. He doesn't know why he locked the door...

1 Tomko 2 Shark Boy 3 Suicide 4 Rhino 5 Raven 6 Dr. Stevie 7 SoCal Val 8 Brutas Magnas 9 Lacey Won Erich 10 Jimmy Hart 11 Christy Hemme 12 Scott Hall 13 Jamie Tucker (ref) 14 Mike Posey (ref) 15 Shannon Moore 16 Jesse Neal 17 Kevin Nash what gets me is that Suicide is still on the freaking roster. he's a mythical costume at this point. it's like paying some tights to hang out backstage. agree with this list with the exception of Nash, i think he still has a lot to offer, while not wrestling, he has good presence and is great on the mic. i still think he has credibility to make angles interesting. and maybe Jamie Tucker. i would fire Earl Hebner instead. not out of dislike, Earl just needs to retire imo.

problem is, isnt alot of the undercards on a pay per appearence? If so, cutting them will do nothing to cut the actual budget, since they arent being paid not being used. So if you can 15 of them, you cost cut nothing.

01. Rhino - I sometimes forget he still works there. 02. Homocide - He wants to go anyway. 03. Hamada - If they're not going to use her. 04. Shark Boy - Same reason as Rhino. 05. Dr. Stevie - Hasn't been used under BiscHogan. 06. Raven - As above. 07. Tomko - Came back out of shape. 08. Mick Foley - Not really needed anymore. 09. Jimmy Hart - Why is he even there? 10. Eric Bischoff - Can insult fans from the unemployment line. 11. Hulk Hogan - Just for bringing in Bubba. 12. Ric Flair - Wasn't needed in the first place. 13. Christy Hemme - They already have Borash. 14. A Referee. 15. Another Referee.

In consideirng financials, think of this. Outside of Christy Hemme, there are 12 knockouts on the roster. Assuming 9 dates per month (three tapings, five house shows, and a PPV) with each of the twelve working every single event, that's $324,000 payroll per year.
Christy Hemme, who does nothing but PR or backstage interviews, makes nearly half that by herself.
The gap is lowered when realizing that none of them work every single event.
So the choice there seems obvious. cut into the group the provides either your highest ratings or close to it, or drop a backstage interviewer and save at least six jobs right there.

Christopher Daniels will be resigned and then released as one of the 15.
If this comes to pass they need to be sure that they're releasing the right people but I have my doubts.

Fire the Knockouts (even though they draw ratings and cost little)!
There, saved that Fanboy fella the trouble.

Seriously, the size of the roster vis a vis the length of their timeslot has been TNA's biggest creative (and practical) problem for a long, long time now. You don't get time to hype up all your feuds and build up all your stars when you have a 90 minute show (thereabouts) to showcase a bajillion people. They HAVE to cut back, which I'd hate to see because I'm sure some guys I think are pretty cool would go, but they simply can't support a roster this big.

They just hired 15-20 people in the last couple of months. Surely they could just fire all those people and call it a day. But those people are all Hogan's buddies, so that won't happen.

I dunno, they relieved themselves of the turds that were Chubba and the Nasties pretty quickly... when push comes to shove, some foos are gonna find themselves in the unemployment line...

Wait. Why the hell does Dave Penzer have heat?!?! That's actually a really good question. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about him. Actually, I've never heard anyone say anything about him, but still, I figured that was a good thing.

Officials want 15-20 people to be cut from TNA This is positive news. I almost (key word: ALMOST) don't care who gets cut if they get rid of that many people. They're sure to get at least some of the crappier workers / Hogan's buddies with those kinds of numbers. One of the most glaringly obvious problems with TNA is its bloated roster (it's the reason why there are always those ridiculous "Where is <TNA wrestler>? Is he still employed?" threads in this forum).
