I started tuning in to TNA's programming on a more frequent basis specifically because RVD started wrestling there. I know that there have to be more people like me out there in this regard. I doubt Hogan had the same effect (or more specifically, a big effect). From what I've read and from other folks who are fans, Hogan is more of a detriment than a help.

I'm with you on RVD bringing in interest. I lost interest in TNA when Hogan took over, but since they signed RVD I at least try to see his matches, even if I can't bear to watch the whole show.

^ That's what supposed to happen with these big money people. If they bring intrest and intrigue to the product, sure they can have a big payroll. But when you bring zero excitement to the table (i.e. no body cares if you are on TV or not) but you are still payed hire then the people who do, there is a problem there and it needs to be adressed.
Case in point, The Band.

Okada (He even appeared on Impact yet?) No, but I seriously doubt he would get released. They need to make room for him. It would jeopardize their relationship with New Japan if they cut him. They have already said he would be in the US for like two years.

I would actually watch TNA again if they cut at least 10 out of 15 of these people: Hogan Hardy RVD Jarrett Flair Hall Syxx Moore Rob Terry Orlando Jordan Anderson The Pope Brother Ray Brother DVon Abyss

so I just read that Daffney's contract expires later this year and the scuttlebutt is that it will not be re-up'd. The article also said Hamada and Taylor are likly gone. Now I am not one who posts newz but I know there are alot of Daffney marks in here so I figured this would be the place to mention it. If it happens well I loved her but no one piece of talent lost will break the bank

*raises hand* Can we cut BTLS again? I mean, you, know... hire him back and then fire him precisely two seconds later during Impact? I'd mark like hell.

I started watching when Flair became a manager. Flair's my all time favorite wrestler, and I'm a total fan of managers, so I was excited about it. I still enjoy Flair in this role. What has caused my interest to wane has been much of what's gone on with the rest of the show.
