Along the above lines, what's the longest running book to have never been re-numbered now? off the top of my head, I'm thinking Uncanny X-Men...but really I have no clue.
That's all coming to an end this fall, when Uncanny gets renumbered too.

I just discovered that my favorite marvel mutant super-villain isn't dead and that my least favorite marvel mutant supervillain just got killed off (for the time being.)

So I guess the longest running US monthly comic series without a re-numbering reboot is...Archie. Currently on issue 621.
*salutes*
I had this dumb idea, so now you have to look at it.
Alright, I've got a censorship issue that's been bugging me for ages, and I keep forgetting to ask here.
Is there a five-letter swear that isn't bitch?
Because there are a lot of situations I'm reading with five symbols where the word bitch just doesn't fit, and for the life of me I can't think of something that does.

{Spoiler}If the supposedly dead Bucky was the one who helped saved the day by.....I don't know the specifics, but him doing something heroic, no doubt.[/spoiler[

I'm assuming Loki saves the day, but probably also does something behind the scenes to set up him aging and turning proper heel again
Yeah, at the Marvel panels of C2E2, they kept drilling into our heads that, at the end of Fear Itself "You won't believe what one person gets away with". There's no way that's not referring to Loki.

OK, so I am currently reading Superman comics from the start. I'm on issue 10 and, to be honest, Superman fighting ordinary criminlas like gangsters and racketeers and such is getting a little boring.
Any nice points to jump ahead to and instead come back to early issues later?

I'm putting money on Deadpool banging Sue Richards while Reed is trying to fix Ben.

Hah, while that would be awesome, I've got a better question. From the first few issues of FF, am I the only one that gets a SERIOUSLY flirty vibe going between Sue Richards and Spider-Man?
