While it was definitely one of the worst Wrestlemanias, I don't think it contained enough terrible things to have the entire thing inducted. The main event, the skits and the bumping of the Bryan/Sheamus match...everything else was alright for the most part.

They literally used the biggest show of the year as an advertisement for this year's event. I think that can be justified as Wrestlecrap.

I thought Taker/Trips last year plodded along too much, and was the most overrated match of the year.

I was there live last year. It was a good show, but not one of the all time worst WrestleManias. That's just dumb.

I wouldn't say it was Wrestlecrap worthy. It wasn't great, admittedly, Cole/Lawler was pretty terrible, two matches had to be cut down to about three minutes and the main event was a big disappointment but there was still plenty to enjoy.

I wouldn't say it was Wrestlecrap worthy either, BUT - I would say The Rock and they way they used The Rock really was Wrestlecrap.

lol WrestleCrap. Used to rule. I just read the past few inductions. They don't even bother researching anymore.

Wow , no... I'd sat it was a 5/10... two great matches (Punk/Orton is SEVERELY underrated), two others I'd call good.... horrible time management, Cole/Lawler was too long, and The Rock's opening was too long. Backstage segments were half and half.
I stopped checking Wrestlecrap for new inductions years ago... inducting a show based on time management, nevermind every match outside Cole/Lawler filling its purpose, isn't making me want to check back any time soon. Far, far more worse shows out there. Mania wasn't great or even very good, but far from being considered crap, overall. I would say that overall, Manias 2, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 18,,22, and 25 were all inferior as entire shows to me.

The Rock's opening promo stunk and was a complete bore. Cole/Lawler went too long and didn't end up serving as the end of Heel Cole like it should have. And the main event stunk, which is no surprise considering Miz came out the winner.
But otherwise? I thought it was an excellent show. Rhodes/Mysterio was the first time I thought Cody looked like a top star, Orton/Punk was really good, and Taker/HHH was amazing.
The skits I didn't mind at all. Zack Ryder singing "Friday" will never not be funny.

In a pig's eye was this Wrestlecrap.
Disappointing, sure, but I honestly forgot how many decent-to-good matches were on this show. That alone puts it above other crappy Wrestlemanias, and pay-per-views in general.

It wasn't the best WM by any means, but it certainly wasn't all that bad either.
Also Rock's promo including entrance didn't even reach 10 minutes long.

I still would have inducted XI before 27. Take it from someone who urged RD Reynolds for YEARS and YEARS to induct it, it'll never happen.

Doesn't really deserve it.
Cole vs. Lawler does, yes.
But I just don't see the PPV fitting into the "worst wrestling moments of all time" at all.
There was no humor in the induction, just a laundry list of smarky complaints.
And NOTHING from WM 27 was even close to as painful as that hellish never-ending Kid Rock performance from WM 25.

For the price, it was junk. If I was watching it for free, I would have no problem with it at all. Too many filler segments, some matches in the middle were very sound but had no meaning at all, etc, the main event was a concussion filled dud...

I know it's Mania weekend and all, but XXVII as a whole isn't even close to full on Wrestlecrap, and I don't even think it would make my bottom five Manias (though I do admit this was a disappointing show). Someone mentioned earlier that the dude even says there was four good matches on the card, and that just makes a poorly booked event, not complete crap like the site is supposed to be covering.

If this is meant to be some sort of diss I don't get it.
Doom was a flop, but "The Gameplan" ($127M profit), "The Tooth Fairy" ($64M profit), and "Fast Five" ($501M profit) were all hits.

The writing and inductions for WC have been garbage for many years now. They definitely have run out of ideas and all the writers trying to mimic RD's writing style/sense of humor is a little annoying to read.
As far as WM, never saw the show, but it doesn't look too good based on the card/results. But if he lists a 3-4 "very good" matches, then I don't understand why he would induct it.

It was underwhelming, but it had its moment. The Edge/Christian celebration is nice considering we now know it was Edge's last match. The Undertaker/Triple H match was great in my view. Rock was OKAY in his backstage segments. I didn't like his opening promo. I loved when he and Stone Cold ran in to each other.
I thought Snooki was used well if that counts for anything.

WC is still OK, but it had a bit of a jump-the-shark moment during their "Basketball Jones" infatuation, when calling Batista "Dave", "Big Dave", or anything like that on the boards was being considered as possibly a violation of the "No typing around filters" rule (as "Batista" was being filtered to "Basketball Jones"). "Basketball Jones" may have been one of the worst attempts at a forced meme ever.
