Peja Stojakovic retired. One of the great shooters of this generation & a key part of early 2000 Kings teams. Shame the injury to C-Web in 2003 & deplorable officiating in 2002 cost them trips to the Finals. I was a huge Kings fan during that time period, and Peja was my second favorite on that team, behind Doug Christie(consider the other guys were Vlade Divac, C-Webb, and Bibby, that's not a slight against Peja, as I liked the entire starting 5). I'm willing to go out on limb and say that Kings team might be one of the best teams to never win a championship.

WojYahooNBA The Nets are finalizing a one-year deal with Kris Humphries today and expect to have him for final preseason game Wednesday, sources tell Y! Will opposing fans on Nets road games come up with ways to get under his skin (I.e. Kim Kardashian-related chants)?

We know about the 5 NBA games on Christmas Day.
My predictions for those games obviously didn't pan out, but if it did, would it look like a good set of games?
Here it is in order from earliest to latest:
Magic/Bulls Heat/Celtics Knicks/Lakers Spurs-Thunder Grizzlies-Nuggets

The Heat just lost a big lead to Orlando... I guess the more things change, the more they stay the same.
EDIT: Yes, I know it's pre-season, but still, it's not a good sign when the same problem you have last season comes back to haunt you.

Oh, yeah Thunder went 2-0 in the preseason as well. Beating the Mavs twice.

Oh....god.....the Raptor's camouflage alternate uniforms for when they host the Chicago Bulls on March 21st. *holds back vomit* Those things are atrocious! I appreciate the gesture they are trying to make, but still.....burn these uniforms.

Someone had to look approve those uniforms and say "Yep, looks like we've got a winner."
I can only hope that person took a massive bribe.

Time for a potential vote:
Do we do WCWBA 1998 version for the teams? Or perhaps one of the years from the WWF Attitude Era (Lot of potential Miami Heat/Corporation/Corporate Ministry potential)
Season starts Sunday: I think we should have an idea on what to do at least before the first game tips off

On the way home from my girlfriend's place, I was listening to ESPN radio, and they were replaying an interview Colin Cowherd had with David Stern on the subject of all the recent backlash against the league, and though Stern is pretty suspect in this whole Chris Paul--LA debacle, it was comical how easily Stern played Cowherd like a fiddle. Maybe it's because I have gotten so tired of Cowherd's elitist posturing, and his constant need to put people down as stupid through the years, but it was worth many laughs to hear Stern so calmly dimiss and turn around Cowherd's questions to the point where by the end of it, Stern had to apologize to himself on Cowherd's behalf. It was pretty good radio.

The whole appeal and charm of WCWBA was the fact that the heat WAS the nWo...and still is.

Kenyon Martin and the Xinjiang Flying Tigers have reached an agreement to buyout the rest of his contract.
As a part of the agreement, Martin will not be allowed to return to the NBA until his Chinese team's season is over.

DeShawn Stevenson has reached an agreement with the Nets and is expected to sign with the team on Thursday. Well, I have to give the Nets credit here. They're doing a good job of turning the average Knicks fan's opinion on them from total apathy to something resembling actual disliking. It's good for any perceived rivalry.
