After reading some of the comments here and on twitter, that seems to be the case. I thought the match was really good and the crowd was into it unlike most Diva matches. The Superplex was just an awesome spot. I hope to see more Kelly/Beth matches because this is when I find her tolerable. I would rather watch Kelly face someone like Beth or Natalya than somone like Eve or Bellas.

It's the fact that every Kelly Kelly match ends in a rollup pin.
Can WWE Creative not justify her being champion through any other means?

I loved it. I wanted Beth to win, sure, but whatever. The match was still good.

The pre-show clue we all knew is seldom does the Fed let a hometowner win. Espicially in Divaland. Mickie almost always lost the Richmond house shows. In a show that seemed very formula-following, I am OK with the "upset" It lets the mayhem extend to another show

I thought that was a horrible idea (primarily because you need acting ability). Now, I want this. Why? Because cheating is the ONLY way she should have beaten Beth Phoenix.

It makes the whole "Divas of Doom" angle pointless.

The match itself wasn't bad, sure as hell not for a Divas match, but the finish was just...wrong. They made the wrong move by having Beth job cleanly in her hometown.

The only reason Kelly Kelly did anything worth noting is because they got 10 minutes instead of 2. Even K2 will do SOMEthing when you give her more time in the ring.
She is not impressive, at all.

It had a few decent spots (the superplex and hurricanrana) but the story they told was shabby, Kelly robotically going through "this is what I do next" sequences, an unnecessary brawl between Eve and Nattie, the wrong outcome and Kelly instantly no-selling the match when she was handed her title.
I can't stand Kelly any more. She's had enough time to try and look like a wrestler but she doesn't. She looks like a girl doing choreography.

Kelly should learn to run into the rope, it's ridiculous.

It wasn't a bad match. Kelly has some cool moves, she's just not very fluid in the ring. I'm fine with the outcome as Beth is overrated anyways.

Yes, the match between Beth and Kelly sucked because Kelly won, again. What reason do I have to take the dominating Beth Phoenix seriously again?

It was really slow and just all around awkward, and was not helped by the fact that the crowd was clearly on Beth's side yet they kept playing Kelly like the face in peril. And while I don't even like Phoenix, her not winning is really stupid itself.

It makes the whole "Divas of Doom" angle pointless. I have to agree with this. I mean, didn't we already see that part where the pluck underdog gets a shock win over the dominant force last month at SummerSlam? Are they just circle jerking us now?

They did the same finish both times during their two matches. K2 is no longer the underdog in the feud even though they have been and will continue to build her up as one. That's my issue with this whole story line as of tonight.

one of the best diva matches i have seen in a long long time, simply because the crowd was into it

Oh, for crying out loud. Please, for the love of all things holy, give the belt to Nattie when it's her turn. I'm so sick of Kelly and her rollups. I'm sick of the fact that she has no personality, and it little more than a pretty face to look at. I'm sick of the fact that she doesn't even know how to run the ropes. In all of this, she's somehow managed to get over with the crowd. Maybe it was like the inexplicable face turn of Orton a couple of years ago. They put him against Sheamus, and all of a sudden, he's a face.

I guess the idea is that Beth/Natalya are actually just spoiled brats who are coming up with excuses as to why they're not champion. Beth complains about typical diva matches, but all of a sudden changes her attire to be more diva esque and spanks Kelly throughout the match.
And no the match was not bad, people just don't like Kelly Kelly. The same with the Cena/Del Rio match.

It makes the whole "Divas of Doom" angle pointless. The entire point of the DoD vs Kelly Kelly angle is to tell all of K2's detractors to suck it.
