I've been watching for 20 years I know people who have watched longer but I just have ideas about what should and shouldn't happen in wrestling I guess. If he does win I'd never take Cena seriously again. I mean if he wins and has a great long reign what do you do with him, what do you do when everything gets old? have him end Undertakers streak? no it wouldn't work...because he's a midget. A good wrestler, but he still looks easy to beat.

Listen. If you beat a bear, you're automatically the toughest guy around.

I mean if he wins and has a great long reign what do you do with him, what do you do when everything gets old? Cena smiles and shakes his hand, and Bryan becomes his plucky underdog sidekick, basically the onscreen avatar of all those Make-a-Wish kids. Then Bryan retains his title by beating some dudes while Cena beats more important dudes and Cena pats Bryan on the head and says "Good job, kid!" until eventually a mean heel (Orton?) beats up Bryan and Cena's righteous fury comes out and he starts talking in his southern accent voice and overcomes the odds by beating the heel to once again become WWE champion. There's plenty you can do with midgets who look easy to beat. It's the whole Ricky Morton schtick, and it usually works best with a Robert Gibson as backup.

If we're talking from a Kayfabe point of view, Cena teamed up with Ryback and Sheamus and couldn't beat the Shield. Bryan took them out by himself, something even Mark Henry couldn't do this week.

Then again, kayfabe-wise, Ryback took the pin and as we now know, Ryback was all talk and is really a loser who taps out to the Miz kicking him.

Is this a joke thread? I'm legitimately asking. If we're going on who looks hardest to beat no one should be beating Brock ever.

Of course but when some things go down in kayfabe we end up laughing them off.
I'm not saying a small man can't win...but damn slap this on the cover of a DVD or tell me this looks exciting. Sid Justice vs Hulk Hogan, Hogan vs Warrior, HBK vs Diesel makes sense.
This doesn't look right. It seems like I have no choice though, I will have to accept him. I'm like the Sheamus haters...you know that find his fella crap overbearing and annoying, I find Bryan just as annoying.

Bryan pinning Cena? Yeah... I can see how that might not be convincing, even if it wasn't a flash pin.
Bryan tapping Cena out? I could ABSOLUTELY believe him being able to do that.

f he does win I'd never take Cena seriously again. Cena's made his career as a guy who "overcame the odds". Why can't Bryan do the same?

The guy that never so much as utters the words 'I quit'? I think a small package flash pin is waaaaaaay more likely.

I can't believe ANYONE tapping Cena out unless he's about to undergo a massive gimmick change, what with the whole "NEVER GIVE UP" thing that's been emblazoned on his merch for years. Bryan using his small package to win would be the most plausible clean-ish victory I could see him pulling out.

Did Chris Benoit look easy to beat? He was an inch taller than Bryan. How about Kurt Angle? Two inches taller.
Your Kevin Nashesque argument is essentially "Daniel Bryan is short and, therefore, I can't take him seriously" and that's preposterous.

There is no way John Cena can lift Daniel Bryan!

Yeah, I'm not saying I expect Cena to tap out, but if they really wanted to put Bryan over that would be a great way to do it. Granted, it's been awhile since Cena tapped out to somebody (The last person being Angle, I think) but if they really wanted to put Bryan over as a future star that would be an awesome way to pull it off.
At this point Cena is bullet-proof; even if he did submit I doubt it would do any damage to his drawing ability whatsoever.

You seem old and crochety. You also seem to think you know wrestling better than the people doing it, despite what's going on in front of you.
Are you Jim Cornette?

Funny that you use HBK vs. Diesel as an example. Was Money in the Bank ridiculous because John Cena was able to beat Mark Henry? By this logic Andre should've beaten Hogan, who should've in turn beaten Savage. Wrestling is always at it's crappiest when "look" is a deciding factor, and it really should be a complete non-factor when somebody is as talented, over, and generally entertaining as Daniel Bryan.

20 years?! So you watched Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels beat Diesel, right? They were like 3 inches taller than Bryan though, so I totally get your point.
