"Del Rio said that he thinks that the American audience does not like him because they don’t like a Mexican being successful in an American company." What? Rey seems to disprove this theory alongside various Guerreros, Tito Santana and lots of mid-card acts. It also doesn't explain why fans in countries outside America don't like him. Hold on. Why would a comment about the American audience say anything about fans who aren't the American audience? Considering ADR's position on the card, citing mid-card acts proves his point. AFAIK, you've only got two that are comparable. Rey also benefit for being the right person in the right place at the right time. Eddie Guerrero is one of the best guys to have ever done it. Out of all the people out there, the fact you can only name three, including himself supports his point. Even if that comment was totally kayfabe, he's still got a point. Considering the point, there aren't many other ways that'd get him heel heat any faster. I've made peace with a lot of people hating ADR a while ago, but some of y'all are just... People using Heath Slater when talking about him...? Calling him Chavo Guerrero and shit...? What. Like, we really going to pretend that ADR is comparable to damn CHAVO? Maybe it's just me but if somebody put a gun to my head, telling me to name some memorable Chavo matches or die, I'd cry and get ready to embrace DAT OBLIVION because can't nobody pay me to believe that ADR is in any way comparable to the near non-entity Chavo has been for ages. Saying he's so boring it makes you want to de-alphabetize the phone book is fine. Saying WWE isn't giving him much to work with is fine...and true.

Because this site is slow. I'm on here once every 4-5 days. Del Rio has WAY more moves than what you said. I'm to the point now where I may just start trolling Del Rio hate threads with na na na na na posts. Del Rio isn't going ANYWHERE. I understand people being tired of him because of his heavy handed push but ALOT of the hate he receives is ridiculous. He's a phenomenal wrestler. I've been a fan of him for over 10 years. People that say he has no charisma LoL. Clearly they haven't seen his CMLL and AAA stuff. Del Rio isn't the only reason that I watch wwe. I've been watching wrestling my entire life. I will say that he's the one that I enjoy the most. I don't think he's "horrendous" or "horrible" on the mic. I agree that he was pushed too fast. He never had the opportunity to hone his character BEFORE being thrust into the M.E scene. As fantastic as he is. He still should have been built up properly. I.C. title reign or 2. Tag title reign and then the main title scene. He needs to add more to his character. I think they should have kept him face. Teamed him with Ricardo and had them win the tag titles. People will continue to hate him. That's fine. He's already had a HOF career. He just did an interview saying that he's Vince McMahon's favorite heel and that Vince said that him and Christian stole the show at SummerSlam. As I said Del Rio isn't going anywhere. He needs a meaningful feud with a good face. His feud with Big was great as well as their matches. His feud with Swagger started off good fell flat then picked up a little. Their matches. Especially their smackdown matches were fantastic. The feud with Ziggler was meh but their 2 ppv matches COMPLETELY outshined the wwe title matches at PayBack and MITB. I also thought that his match with Christian at SummerSlam was SLIGHTLY better than Cena/Bryan and they had about 20mins less. He has no feud so he makes up for it with stellar matches. I hope after he loses the WHC he takes a little time off to rest and comes back with a revamped character. Until then I'll just continue to enjoy him as MY WHC. See, now I know you're trolling. Either that, or delusional. I mean, He's been in the WWE, what, 3-4 years, won the title a few times and he's HOF worthy? By that logic, half of the current roster should be in there. First Mexican not Mexican American wwe and world heavyweight champion. First Mexican to win the royal rumble. Winner of the largest royal rumble in history. The ONLY wrestler to win the rumble and MITB in the same year. 4 time champion so far. By wwe's logic. Yes that is a HOF career so far.

Funny enough, Tito, Rey, the Guerreros are all Americans of Mexican descent. Hell, Eddy's father was born in Arizona.

* Del Rio said that he thinks Sin Cara gets injured simply by talking.
Dammit, now I like him again. You're tearing me APART Alberto!!!
He's a classic example of being a great wrestler, and having a great look, but it just not all coming together for some reason. Part of it is booking, but part of it has to be him too, because there are other guys that are booked shitty that I still really enjoy.
