I wouldn't mind a refund just for the quality of the whole show in general.

The WWE title is supposed to be The Super Bowl trophy of the WWE, if you paid money to watch the SB on TV and saw one team win, and then it suddenly did not count, would you be happy? Terrible comparison. One's real, one's not. One's free, one's not. Not to mention that there's no possible way for that to happen. lol it's a fine comparison you lame troll. I never said it was right, I just stated how people were feeling.

Apparently the plan for BattleGround is to do a Bryan-Orton Iron Man match that ends in a tie, leading to a decisive finish at Hell in a Cell.
More refunds...here we come! lol

LMFAO...this is too funny!
You don't like what WWE is doing?...get a refund. That's one way to get Vince McMahon's attention. Maybe this will catch on...

I wonder if he asked for a refund for the SummerSlam finish.

Ummm...what? Jesus Christ, how many refunds would WCW have to have given back in the day?

Why in the world would the cable company even entertain that asinine demand? Did they give refunds to Alvarez fans too? How about people that ordered movies from them? These guys worked the company and the company fell for it.

Odds are, they threw a big enough stink that the company just said f*** it, and gave 'em the refund. Bogus of the customer to do, and Cox to comply, but it happens all the time in retail. I really believe this is the correct answer. I think it was 2010 or 2011 Royal Rumble that I had ordered HD for the first time from Comcast. The feed kept jumping in and out and for some reason, whichever cable box you buy it on, is the only cable box you can watch it on. We called customer service to see if we could just get the standard version and the difference refunded (this was less than an hour into the show too). We got the bill and the whole Rumble was refunded and we didn't pay for it. We called to see if it was going to come on the next bill and they told us not to worry about it. Unless they release an actual number of refunded customers, the representative that said "other people had asked for a refund for the same reason" could be the representative just empathizing with the customer. Like the representative didn't want to argue but also didn't want the customer to think they can just call in to complain and get refund any time they wanted to.

WWE STATEMENT ON EARLIER NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS PPV STORY By Mike Johnson on 2013-09-18 20:09:53 WWE issued the following statement to PWInsider.com in response to Dave Scherer's post about fans requesting refunds from their cable provider following the Raw angle that negated the main event finish of WWE Night of Champions: “While certain fans may not have liked the continuing storyline following Night of Champions, we’re certain that the 3-hour pay-per-view event delivered all the entertainment and excitement expected from WWE.” www.pwinsider.com/article/80368/wwe-statement-on-earlier-night-of-champions-ppv-story.html?p=1

Good for them. I'd tell the cable companies to stick it up their ass if they go after WWE for the money they refunded.

Oh you are f***ing kidding me. This isn't just a slippery slope for wrestling, it's a slippery slope for everything. Don't like how a plot twist in a movie or television show negates something before it, demand money. People who went to the 2005 Orange Bowl between USC and Oklahoma, demand your money back since USC was stripped of the title. People these days...so entitled, and just LOVE to have their asses kissed. And businesses are so afraid of getting trashed on yelp or something that they cave-in to anything.

I think you should be able to get a refund any time ADR has a title match.

WWE will start a pay per view called "card subject to change" Which could mean the possibility of a lawsuit from PWG.
