So can I get a refund because I don't like the end of a movie? Hell, what about a movie which doesn't give you a definitive ending, like {Spoiler} Inception, or Life of Pi . I demand refunds unless someone can answer me some damn questions. Ask someone who works at a movie theater and they will tell you it happens all the time.

I got a refund for two movies in a row because the fire alarm went off during both movies. They were actually months apart. Crazy coincidence, but they refunded everyone's money.

In any service where you get a regular bill, above all the company wants your money. Provided you don't pull this nonsense all the time (because that goes in the notes) you can usually get a ridiculous demand here or there. I've worked cell phone billing, cable and internet and maannnn the nonsense we had to give people.

Can I get a refund for Friday the 13th Part 1, because the final girl of that dies in the beginning of Friday the 13th Part 2?
Also, should I put spoiler tags for movies that are 30 years old?

I've had a few friends over the years work at the ticket stand at the local theater. People would complain about anything to get a refund, including usually waiting until the movie ended and saying how they didn't like it, it was advertised wrong, too violent, too raunchy, etc.

It's like going to a restaurant, & demanding a refund after you've already eaten everything because you didn't like it. Well, if you didn't like it, then why did you eat it all? Granted, this too is a bit different, but you still got three hours worth of wrestling. I'd offer a prorated discount. 3 (actually only 2, with the fast count ) seconds worth of a discount to be exact. Someone else can do the math to find out how many pennies they get refunded...

People always want that little extra something to feel like they "won".

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not encouraging the behavior. They should of just flat out told them "It's a TV show and we're not responsible for it's content" or something.

“While certain fans may not have liked the continuing storyline following Night of Champions, we’re certain that the 3-hour pay-per-view event delivered all the entertainment and excitement expected from WWE.” If WWE thinks that Night of Champions met fans expectations, I can only guess that this means that they work under the assumption that the fans have basically no expectations at all.

I was at a movie where the sound cut out for about five minutes through an important scene. I was going to let it slide until I was leaving and happened to walk past the manager saying to an employee "these people can shove it up their ass if they think they're getting a refund". An apology would have kept me walking, but this line and the attitude attached to it got me into his face. Some shouting and the attitude being thrown back into his face got refunds for me and a number of others. So the moral of my story is that if you bitch loud and long enough, they cave. Likely what happened here. I hope WWE tells Cox Cable to shove it up their ass for being idiots when they come calling to get that money back.

How did Jason get a plane ticket anyway? I mean I know security wasn't as strict as it would be post 9/11, but crazy troglodyte hillbilly killing machine wearing a burlap sack at least seems to be someone who'd make Southwest take a second glance.

It's profitable to go ahead and refund some people so they feel better about it and will buy more PPVs.

Im sure the fact that it was such a crappy ppv also played into the refunds. At this rate, the buyrate is going to plummet to tna levels. Daniel Bryan will be blamed for this, he will be buried at the next PPV, turned Heel and Cena returns, defeats the Corporation and wins the WWE Title once more at WM 30. Even on a meta level in this storyline, I can refute arguments.... They're asking for refunds because Bryan is no longer champion. Maybe WWE will actually take the hint on this that we don't want Randy Orton as champ.

I sincerely hope they don't try to take a single lesson from this whatsoever. I also hope it doesn't hurt Bryan's cause to have such 'fans' on his side, even those that don't like Cena never did anything like this.

The WWE title is supposed to be The Super Bowl trophy of the WWE, if you paid money to watch the SB on TV and saw one team win, and then it suddenly did not count, would you be happy? If Triple H is the one booking this feud, I expect him to get a lot of heat over it. PPV's are pure revenue, and they just lost a good chunk of that, due to bad booking Except Daniel Bryan was WWE champion. The result of that match still happened, that never changed. This is stupid, and I wish no one got a refund and I hate the people that did this.
