If I were Hogan,I would demand total creative control if I returned the E, and then if I got it, I would make Vince kiss my ass on live tv.

Why would you even give Hogan creative control?
TNA were such marks for Hogan when they signed him and gave him a ridiculous contract.
Hogan was desperate for a job at the time, he should have been the one bending to TNA's needs not the other way around.

And this is part of why people say this company should just die already.

How stupid do you have to be to give Hulk Hogan, a known politician, creative control to that extent?

On the surface this seems so over the top it almost screams newz, but given that this is a man who became angry and filed a lawsuit entirely or in part because someone referred to him as bald, I have a tendency to believe it.
What are the alternatives?
Dixie Carter decided that on Hogan's very last day with the company she would bury her employees and beg Hogan to stay since it would make the most sense?
Sadly, given Dixie's idea to let her speech to the locker room be put on TV, I can't rule that out either.
Bischoff decided that he's got his money and if Hogan's leaving, he wants to as well? Again, can't rule that out.
Damn it, it seems like such newz, but just by looking at the known behaviors of three people, it's actually plausible that each could be behind it.

That's sick.
The reason Dixie is not taken seriously is because she doesn't stick up for herself to Hogan. Everything done by Hogan up to that point aside, for that skit alone (hanging on to his ankles) I would have buried him harder than Russo. So hard someone would be showing the HHH shovel gif.
I would have brought up the failed Pastamania, MCW, all the crappy movies, the Brooke butt rubbing, the son who's poor decision probably have everything to do with his father and growing up thinking he can do anything without negative results.
I hope if Vince brings him back that he (Vince) knows that HE is the biggest thing in wrestling and that Hogan is just another employee at this point. I hope he gives him a newcomer or jobber treatment.

Whatever - Hogan's an ego maniac who people won't pay to see - we GET IT.
My question, the REAL question, is - "Is Hogan actually gone now?"

Honestly... I'd play the creative control card too if I had to get served by Dixie Carter the evil TV character.

Of course he did, I doubt anyone ever believed his claims that he didn't have any say in the creative process given how he was the focus of the main storyline in the company for god knows how long. Hogan has had creative control in his past few WWE runs, going over Shawn Michaels then Randy Orton so there was little chance of him signing for TNA without it. It's a shame he won't get the sendoff his performances deserve, being showered with garbage as he hobbles along the ramp that they've put there just for him with the look of a man who knows that he's now discredited, that he's not a draw without Vince's help and he's done more harm than good in the long term to everything he's been associated with since his 80's peak.
But, like RVD people will make excuses for him, he'll give interviews sucking up to the WWE and praising their pet project du jour to high heavens, and of course, claiming that TNA guys just didn't have it to be stars and that things that were clearly done because he had creative control weren't his fault, brother.

I don't really see what's so "crazy" or "stupid" about that segment, tbh.
Heel Dixie says "It's my way or the highway", fully expecting everybody to fall in line and get on Team Dixie (because she's clearly delusional and thinks TNA wouldn't exist without her); the biggest name in wrestling history calls her bluff, and chooses to leave rather than to join Team Dixie ; Dixie's desperate, and doesn't want Hogan to leave.
Makes sense to me. In the grand scheme of things (= in Heel Dixie's delusional eyes) GM Hogan has more value than AJ Styles (who's been nothing but a headache for her the past few months).
(no need for creative controlling this stuff)
